Three Towers Game

Deceit Tower, fortieth floor.

This extremely peculiar level hides a kingdom of the dead.

Every time he enters this scene, Wen Xishu experiences a moment of haziness, as if falling into chaos.

Until he opens his eyes.

But this time, even after Wen Xishu opens his eyes, everything around him remains chaotic.

He only feels as if he’s walking in a swamp.

His steps become very heavy, and every step Wen Xishu takes requires great effort to lift his legs, lest he gets stuck in the strange liquid beneath him.

Although this is the Deceit Tower and he has no Three-phase Power, rendering him unable to perform an ultimate kick, Wen Xishu’s leg strength is indeed very strong.

”What sort of place is this?”

Black, endless black.

He can’t see anything, but luckily, even without relying on sight, his current Anti-Magic Value is sufficient for Wen Xishu to sense his surroundings.

Around him is an endless ”void.”

There is nothing, only this sticky liquid beneath him.

They hinder his progress, like mud.

Wen Xishu becomes somewhat bewildered.

In such a vast, dark world, where nothing can be seen and moving forward seems to be the only option, he feels a sense of fear within him.

Fear stems from the unknown.

Life and death are the most absolute rules, and this time his task seems to be to reverse someone’s life and death.

To bring the dead back to life.

This seems impossible, for if it were possible… then the slaughter among the constellations would be a joke.

So Wen Xishu is somewhat afraid, of any world related to death.

Such a world is explored by very few, indeed.

”Where am I? How long do I have to keep walking like this?”

This world has a very straightforward punishment known as solitary confinement, locking people in a completely dark space where they can’t see anything, only feeling oppressively gradually losing track of time.

After a prolonged period, one starts to fear, dread, and go mad.

Four hours.

Wen Xishu has been walking in this place of darkness, heading in one direction for four hours.

During this time, Wen Xishu also took out a Compass…

But it was useless; the Compass pointed to nothing here.

He has walked for more than four hours, over two hundred forty minutes, more than fourteen thousand four hundred seconds.

In fact, Wen Xishu wasn’t even sure about these numbers; he was simply counting to prevent himself from breaking down, using his steps to measure time.

One step per second was enough to showcase his slowness. More than ten thousand steps could mean a great distance.

Yet Wen Xishu still couldn’t see any ”end in sight.”

Because of the darkness, and also because this place remained limitlessly void.

Even though he had experienced countless bizarre scenarios, Wen Xishu started to struggle at this moment.

”Am I wrong?”

He began to doubt.

Without vision, the darkness felt like having his eyes closed. Any direction could be the right way.

If at this moment, he doubted he had gone the wrong way, the pressure was immense.

Because it had been four hours without seeing any clues.

With so many other directions awaiting him, if this path was wrong, was walking for four hours just making a bigger mistake?

The world of the dead must be vast, perhaps vaster than the world of the living.

Can he really walk across it?

Eleven hours later.

Wen Xishu’s resolve began to waver, he even thought that the answer might not be ahead.

But below instead.

To lay down and let the black liquid swallow him. Maybe there’s a world with light below?

He actually tried this, but strangely enough, as the black liquid initially intended to swallow him and he felt himself sinking…

He was quickly pushed back up by a force.

He could even touch the ”bottom.”

The black liquid seemed to refuse to engulf him, merely hindering his movement.

After just eleven hours, Wen Xishu was naturally not in despair.

But unable to see any clues or possibilities, Wen Xishu was no longer calm.

”Damn it. How do I solve this place?”

”Am I supposed to stay here for seven days?”

”Annoying.”

No meaning, no echoes heard, the surroundings vast but also empty.

This was the first time Wen Xishu encountered such a situation.

It’s like playing a game where you control a car driving forward, with the scenery around you always the same, no other vehicles in sight, and the view ahead unchanged.

You can’t even determine if the car is truly moving.

And that is how Wen Xishu felt right now.

He even started doubting himself: ”Am I really walking in a straight line?”

Research shows that after closing one’s eyes, people’s steps often form a circle.

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but wonder if he was just drawing a peculiar circle.

Twenty-three hours later, his mentality severely deteriorated.

Even so, Wen Xishu still maintained walking in a straight line, at least… according to what he imagined a straight line to be.

He still saw nothing and had no way to deal with this place.

The Scorpion Knife spawned portals in many places…

But maybe this place was too vast, and he never saw a portal.

He was also feeling tired.

For the first time, Wen Xishu began thinking about the taste of food. He had tried many delicacies.

But now, he began craving the compressed biscuits from his execution day.

Twenty-four hours.

Wen Xishu lay on the ground, falling asleep.

In his dream, Wen Xishu returned to his original world, where everyone in the Bunker appeared in their original world, but with changed identities.
