Three Towers Game

Wen Xishu found Mr. Jin to be quite contradictory, yet he also felt... he had a small bit of similarity with Mr. Jin.

When Mr. Jin showed a willingness to sacrifice for the Bunker, Wen Xishu suspected that Mr. Jin had a conspiracy.

When he truly discovered that Mr. Jin indeed harbored secrets, with part of the conspiracy revealed... inexplicably, he somewhat identified with this person.

Longxia was not the homeland of Wen Xishu’s past life, but if there really was a parallel world correspondence, then Longxia and his own country were likely corresponding.

Therefore, Wen Xishu had a certain amount of affection for this country.

Mr. Jin’s affection was much more obvious than his, yet despite that, under his management, the Bunker can be said to be very harmonious among all ethnic groups. The Longxia People did not consider themselves superior.

Mr. Jin longed to be surrounded by Longxia People, and would often say, ”Those not of our kin are sure to have different hearts...”

Deep in his heart, he must have always hoped the Dragon Hide Plan would succeed.

But around him, there was only Luo Feng, who was a pure-blooded Longxia person.

He could still be friends with someone like Albert, and he could also ensure that kids like Nissen were not discriminated against.

In the times when the Bunker most needed to unite all humanity, he harbored no prejudice, uniting whoever could be united among humanity.

Wen Xishu could imagine, at the dawn of the apocalypse, when all countries had numerous problems with their apocalypse response plans, how one person would take people from various countries to an unknown location of the Bunker, and still face the Three Towers that could shatter faith and science alike, and how to step by step rebuild human civilization.

At that time, humanity should have been fearful, like primitive people suddenly thrown into a city full of steel and concrete.

This process was incredibly arduous, but Mr. Jin made it all happen.

If after this, he could abandon the Dragon Hide Plan, perhaps he would be the number one savior of this world.

Yet, everything being done, he still thought about the Dragon Hide Plan of Longxia.

Just like a person, after finding an ideal partner, still yearned for that altogether unsuitable first love that hurt deeply.

Of course, whether it was pure national sentiment, or there was an unavoidable cause, Wen Xishu truly wasn’t sure.

Wen Xishu tried to put himself in Mr. Jin’s shoes and discovered that if he were Mr. Jin... he would most likely choose the Bunker as the new starting point for human civilization, abandoning Longxia.

This wasn’t because he lacked national sentiment but precisely because there was something beyond national sentiment.

Because an incorrect choice would lead to the extinction of an entire civilization.

Ultimately, Wen Xishu still didn’t quite understand Mr. Jin, and many things he couldn’t conclude too soon.

His interrogation was not yet over.

The third memory surged.

...

...

Again, a familiar scene.

Liu Zhizai was sitting quietly in Mr. Jin’s ”rest house”.

Unlike before, Liu Zhizai’s position hadn’t changed, but Mr. Jin was unexpectedly gone.

Wen Xishu could feel Liu Zhizai’s fear through a myriad of emotions.

Yet, he still didn’t know where the fear was coming from.

Not long after, footsteps came from within the facility.

”Weizai, come here.”

That was Mr. Jin’s voice, appearing in the room at an unknown time.

Liu Zhizai got up, respectfully approaching Mr. Jin.

Mr. Jin patted him on the shoulder and said:

”I gave away something of yours, was the Miyamoto Family the one you were supporting?”

Liu Zhizai nodded:

”None of which is mine, everything of mine is yours; you can decide as you please.”

Mr. Jin smiled:

”You’re still too constrained, Weizai, here with me, you don’t need to be too repressed.”

”Yes!” Liu Zhizai bowed.

Mr. Jin continued:

”Aren’t you curious about what it was?”

Liu Zhizai said:

”The sword.”

”Yes, your sword, that sword you went through so much trouble to acquire back then. Now, I want that kid from the Miyamoto Family to challenge Wen Xishu with it.” Mr. Jin said.

Liu Zhizai understood:

”No wonder... you’d turn into me.”

Mr. Jin laughed:

”Sorry, Weizai, maybe someday, you’ll become like me too.”

”Become a part of me, so that you wouldn’t be so constrained in front of me.”

Liu Zhizai grew more alarmed:

”I just don’t understand... you have also said, ’those not of our kin are sure to have different hearts’. So, do you still not trust me? You could have entirely entrusted me with this task!”

”The kid from the Miyamoto Family, I understand you look down on him. His potential, after all, doesn’t meet your expectations.”

”Yet, you took my form and had the kid from the Miyamoto Family... go challenge Wen Xishu, which would offend Albert, right?”

”Moreover, Wen Xishu’s current achievements are not low. After the great devouring, he’ll only grow stronger.”

Mr. Jin nodded:

”I need to confirm some things, turning into you was also because I needed to personally confirm, whether the kid from the Miyamoto Family becoming a sacrificial pawn was too much of a pity.”

”Weizai, I will compensate you in the future.”

Liu Zhizai relaxed slightly, having first been summoned to this room, not allowed to leave, and then seeing his master turn into his own appearance...

He was very scared, scared of being replaced.

Liu Zhizai was very afraid of Mr. Jin, down to his Spirit because Mr. Jin’s phrase ”those not of our kin are sure to have different hearts” was never told to others, only repeatedly mentioned to Liu Zhizai.

He vaguely felt that everyone had their own place.
