The First Store System

Chapter 283: Close for the Day!

”Let me see your strongest attack power,” Elasha told Lenna. Aakesh had explained to them that the slab in the weapons room could show the strength of the attacks up to very high accuracy.

Lenna nodded in response to her grandmother. She also wanted to do the same.

There were only a few customers left in the weapons room or the store due to the closing time inching closer. Lenna got her turn only after waiting for a few minutes.

She first wanted to see the power of her casual strike. She joined her left hand to make a fist and then punched the center of the slab.

The next moment, the slab lightened up, and soon a horizontal bar appeared on it. The bottom signified peak Tao Manifestation, and the top denoted early Tao Palace.

The bar slowly went up, and a few seconds later, stopped at 36%. Lenna nodded, seeing her strength in terms.

She had expected it since the left hand was neither her dominant hand nor did she gain any benefits physically. She only grew in comprehension of the Tao of archery.

She didnʼt need to test any more of her physical prowess, so she now decided to test her archeryʼs strength.

She took out her bow from her space ring.

She grabbed the bow using her left hand and the bowstring using her left hand. She then began stretching the string, and as the string got stretched, energy began accumulating, beginning from the gap between her fingers on the bowstring.

First, the nock formed, then energy feathers, then the shaft, and finally, an arrowhead formed, creating a complete arrow made of energy.

It was only an ordinary arrow, but her family members nodded in satisfaction. Since the arrow looked the same as an actual arrow, showing Lennaʼs better control over energy and skill.

Lenna didnʼt know about her family membersʼ expressions as she was completely focused on her shot. The next moment, she released her fingers.

”Whoosh!”

The distance between the slab and Lenna was only a few meters, so the arrow hit the slab right after release.

The next moment, the slab lightened up. No bar appeared this time, but only intermediate Tao Palace emerged on it.

A wide smile spread across Lennaʼs face, seeing her casual shot reaching intermediate Tao Palace.

She calmed down right away, as it was time for her to test the power of her strongest attack.

She grabbed the bowstring she had released. Like the last time, the arrow began emerging from its nock to the arrowhead.

But, the difference between both the arrows could be like heaven and earth. The current arrow didnʼt have a sharp arrowhead, but instead of it, there was a silver fire.

There were strange patterns engraved on the shaft, while the feathers were blood-red in color.

It was the secret skill of the Moonlight Elves since the majority of the Moonlight Elves used the bow as their weapons.

The silver fire in place of it was a strange fire. It didnʼt release either a hot or cold aura, but instead, if someone were to be near it, they would feel warm.

Sweat began dripping out Lennaʼs head behind her mask as the arrow demanded a large amount of energy.

When Lennaʼs concentration reached its peak, the silver fire turned still as if time had frozen. At that moment, Lenna released the bowstring.

The bowstring was still touching her finger while the arrow had already hit the center of the slab.

Time flew by.

After Lennaʼs strongest arrowʼs strength almost reached the peak of the Tao Palace, Ivanar also decided to test his strength. Since father and daughter had tested their powers, they also forced Shalia and Elasha to test their power.

Elasha, who had reached the peak of the Heavenly Monarch, and was on the verge of gaining an embryo of the divine physique, got her casual shot to cross the threshold of peak Immortality, and the slab showed her strength in Primal units. It reached 23,574,862 Primal units, while her strongest shot reached 28,542,421 Primal units.

They didnʼt even know how much time they had spent testing their strength. When they looked around them, they only found their group in the weapons room.

***

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair, and Lily relaxed in her favorite place, his head. Since the store was only minutes away from the closing time, there were no new customers entering the store.

The group of Elves had supreme cards on them, so they directly teleported out from the weapons room.

Time flew by. The darkness that had been hiding for hours got its chance and engulfed the Visteerna. It then brought an augment of darkness.

A few minutes later, the three hours of the last group in Panagea was also over, so the system forced them out.

After exiting Panagea, the customer began leaving the store one by one. A few seconds later, only Aakesh and Lily remained in the store.

Aakesh took a stride forward, reached the door, and closed it, bringing another day for the store to an end.

”Are you ready?” He then asked Lily with a smile on his face.

Lily nodded with a mix of expressions. Since it had been several days since she had joined the training, the first Epochal Feline would surely be angry with her.

Aakesh nodded, and they both disappeared from the store. The next moment, they appeared in the selection area.

Lily selected her training area and disappeared from there, while Aakesh grabbed the bow and then chose the environment.

The next moment, he appeared in the familiar arena in midst of loud cheers.

The cheer stopped for a moment to welcome Aakesh, but the next moment, it turned even louder.

Even though all the beings here are virtual, the system had created them in such a way that they knew the time and acted according to it.

At first, the crowd booed Aakesh whenever he entered the arena due to his continuous streak of losses, and he also mocked the crowd. But after winning a battle in the first stage and having continuous draws in the second round made Aakesh the favorite of the mass.

Aakesh ignored the cheers and focused on the blue screen floating in front of him. Since Aakesh had won all three stages using swords, they were open for him.

Since Aakesh hadnʼt been able to defeat the opponent at the second stage with a bow, he selected that option.
