The First Store System

Chapter 281: Benefits

”Store owner, do you remember me?” Turta asked Aakesh in his loud childlike voice.

Aakesh expressionlessly nodded in response to Turta. A look of excitement appeared on Turtaʼs face, seeing Aakesh recognizing him.

”Give me one inferior body healing pill,” Pucchi didnʼt want her son to mingle with someone like Aakesh, so she told Aakesh what she wanted.

Aakesh stood up from his chair, went to the counter, and took out a single pill from the first row.

”25 inferior Primal stones,” He told Pucchi as he handed the pill to Turta.

Turta excitedly took the pill and directly put it in his mouth without waiting for his mother to allow it. Pucchi took out the required amount of Primal stones from her space ring with a heartbroken expression, the same as the last time.

Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, 25 inferior Primal stones she had taken out disappeared from the store.

Turta was currently savoring the sweet taste of the pill in his mouth, ignoring what his mother was feeling right now.

”Letʼs go,” Pucchi gently said to her son as she gently grabbed his hand.

”Ummm,” Turta nodded while still savoring the sweet taste.

”Bye, store owner,” He told Aakesh and then left the store with his mother.

”What a bitch,” Lily spat out in disgust after the pair of mother and son left the store.

Aakesh only smiled, hearing Lily cursing Pucchi. He didnʼt care what was happening with Turta or felt sympathy for him. He was only interested in the purpose of the boy and the mother.

Lily, on the other hand, had a different nature than him. Knowing Aakesh had an interest in the pair of mother and son, she also began to have it. After seeing Pucchiʼs real personality, she began to hate her.

”Do you want to hear more suggestions?” Aakesh asked Lily, ignoring her disgust for Pucchi.

Lily, remembering what it was like when Aakesh didnʼt stop talking, shook his head in response to Aakeshʼs question.

Time passed by, and several minutes passed.

Except for Lenna, all of the Elves had completed their hour of training in the Gods & Demons level training area, so the system forced them out.

As usual, the system isolated all of them into different spaces, and after their energy had calmed down due to the sudden consciousness and knowledge growth, the system returned them back to the store. All three Elves stayed unaware of what had happened since they felt like they were still in the store even while they were in different spaces.

Ivanar and Elasha had chosen bow training. After thinking, Shalia decided to leave the bow training and did the training in the sword.

Elasha looked at her son to see what benefits he had gotten. She couldnʼt help but feel surprised, seeing the cultivation level of Ivanar.

Ivanar was a late Heavenly Monarch level cultivator. It had only been a few hundred years when he got the breakthrough to a late level. But now that Elasha saw his level, she noticed that Ivanar had reached the limit of the late Heavenly Monarch and was only a few meditations away from reaching the peak of Heavenly Monarch.

Elasha then looked at her daughter-in-law and checked her cultivation level. Shalia didnʼt have the outrageous growth Ivanar had, but Elasha noticed an aura of sharpness surrounding her.

Elasha, feeling the aura surrounding Shalia, felt that when Shalia reached peak Heavenly Monarch, the aura would be able to threaten her, and she wouldnʼt have it easy if someday Shalia decided to fight her.

Elasha, after seeing the growth her son and daughter-in-law had, finally focused on herself. Like Shalia, her cultivation remained the same as before entering the training area, but her power had tremendously improved.

Before entering the training area, if she had power equivalent to 10 units, after having the training, she believed that her strength had grown to 13 units. It was all due to the growth in her archery. Now, she could even defend a city where peak Heavenly Monarchs were the attackers.

”Looks like spending so much on training paid off,” Elasha smilingly commented, seeing the growth she and her children had.

Only her granddaughter, Lenna, was left out since she was still in the training area, but when Immortals like them had such large growth, Elasha was confident that Lenna would also have a large rate of growth.

”Yes, mother,” Ivanar responded. Even he, who usually carried an expressionless face, couldnʼt help but smile, seeing the growth he had.

He had no idea how much his mother had grown since she was way stronger than him. But, seeing his wife, he knew her wifeʼs growth was nowhere equal to him.

He had not only grown in cultivation, but his archery skills had also grown, while Shalia only had growth in swordsmanship, not in cultivation.

”Mother, do you think I should tell my father about it?” Shalia asked Elasha.

Shalia was not only a daughter-in-law of the Faero family, but she was also the daughter of the Fenric family. They both were two of the top three families.

In the Fenric family, Shalia had an even bigger identity. Her father was none other than the current head of the Fenric family.

If sheʼd asked her father for help, he wouldʼve helped the Elven family with the loan, but Elasha stopped her from doing it.

Now that Shalia had seen the benefits of the training, she wanted her father to also have a pie of it.

”Yes. You can also tell your third brother about it. It would help him cement his position in the family, and he would owe you a favor,” Elasha responded and also suggested Shalia to gain some benefits.

Elasha had a high status in the Faero family, but it wasnʼt equivalent to Shaliaʼs status in the Fenric family. But still, her father had several children, and Shalia even had a stepbrother who had married the daughter of the current head of the Faero family.

Having a family-head who owed a favor to Shalia would prove advantageous for Ivanarʼs position in the family, so Elasha wanted Shalia to take benefit of it.

Shalia also knew this, and she agreed with her mother-in-law.. Having greater leverage would also help Lenna gain a good foothold in the family in the future.
