The First Store System

Chapter 271: Respect

Aakesh was introducing the storeʼs products to a new customer while tens of people were waiting for their turn to arrive.

Since Aakesh had made the rule that only the customers waiting for Panagea can meditate inside the store, no other customer, new or regular, broke it. The new customers patiently waited for their turn, while other customers who couldnʼt get a spot in the three groups either left the store or went to the training area, as it also had several benefits and there also wasnʼt a limit for entry up to the difficult level difficulty.

When there were only a few hundred customers, then Aakesh was facing these situations. When the daily influx of customers would reach hundreds of thousands or even million, he couldnʼt even imagine just how many times he would repeat the same thing over and over.

Considering this, Aakesh asked the system for an assistant since he was confident that it wouldnʼt be long before the daily influx of customers in the store would reach tens of thousands.

The system didnʼt agree with his suggestion, as Aakesh didnʼt have enough authority.

The authority here not only represented unlock of the pieces of information regarding him, but it also represented his control over the system and the store.

Even though the system usually agreed with what Aakesh said and never forced him to do anything, still Aakesh was currently only an employee of the store. With his increase in authority, he would not only know the details of his life, but he would also grow in stature, and someday he would truly be the owner of the system.

Here, also the system didnʼt directly refuse him. It told him that after completing the current store upgrading quest, he wouldʼve enough authority to hire a single assistant for the store.

Considering the way the system treated Aakesh, his aim to get all the answers about him always grew stronger.

The system belonged to the Yantra race, and it was one of the top races of the Multiverse. It was also the only race in the Multiverse that had no restriction of traveling to any dimension without breaking any rule since they didnʼt have the ability to directly cause harm.

If the top race like Yantra race treated him so respectfully, Aakesh couldnʼt help but sometimes think that he was from one of the top three races since only they demand such respect in the Multiverse. He had asked the system many times about it, but the system always stayed silent in response. It didnʼt even answer in a yes or no.

After leaving yesterday, Veenesh returned to his clan and announced a sudden meeting with the elders.

The clan members and elders already had an idea about it and believed it was due to the shortage of pills, potions, and medicines. So it didnʼt come as a surprise to them.

But the result of the meeting sent waves across the entire clan of  39,983 members.

The clan members had guessed the correct reason for the sudden meeting, but they were half right.

Veenesh had already solved the problem of pills for the majority of the clan members. As for higher-level members, the clans still had enough pills and potions in storage, so that wasnʼt a problem for now.

”Leave whatever youʼre doing, and for the next few months, every clan member would leave the clan everyday…,”

”...buy the pills.”

After the meeting of the elders and leader, Veenesh announced to the clan members.

Due to some issues, the clan had been closed for millions of years. Even several dynasties had changed in the neighboring Kingdoms during that span of time, but the clan still stayed close to outside.

If the clan wanted, they could easily crush hundreds of Kingdoms around this area and establish their own powerful Kingdoms. There were no less than a hundred Tao Palace experts, while there were also two Heavenly Monarch level cultivators, one Veenesh, and the other, the founder and the previous leader of the clan.

The sudden announcement of every clan member leaving the clan every day to buy pills from some store sent waves across the clan.

There were several clan members who wanted to go outside and cheered after the announcement, but similarly, there were also several of those who didnʼt like it after living in the clan protection for so many years.

Veenesh didnʼt allow anyone in the clan to refuse his order, so all 39,983 members had no choice but to follow it.

After announcing, Veenesh returned to the meeting room with the elders and began discussing the money required to buy pills for the clan.

The Primal stones werenʼt a concern for the clan as they had several mines inside their territories that could make even the Empireʼs across the Anga continent eyes red with greed.

But still, they needed tens of millions of pills if all the members needed to cultivate without any issue for the years to come. The leader and clan elder then began calculating the prices since Veenesh already knew the prices.

After calculating the total for a continuous purchase of three months, an outrageous amount of Primal stones came as the total bill. But the leader and clan elder couldnʼt hide their surprise as the total price came out lesser than what they paid when their own alchemy master created pills for the clan.

That day several of the clan members couldnʼt sleep at night due to myriads of emotions.

Some were excited since it would be the first time they would see the world outside their clan. Even though it was only for a few seconds since the clan leader himself would teleport every member to the store, and then the same way they would return back to their homes.

Some were afraid of a sudden terrible situation arising, while some were nervous about what if the expectations they had for outside the clan didnʼt stand out.

Tens of thousands of people, a similar number of situations, and just like that, the night passed, and the day they would finally step out of the clan area arrived.

Aakesh had just gotten free from introducing the products when he suddenly heard several footsteps entering the store.

He looked at the door and couldnʼt help but be surprised, seeing people after people entering the store like a tide.. The process continued for several minutes.
