Chapter 262: Battle(3)

Since the red energy ball was too quick for Aakesh to dodge, he had no choice but to face it head-on.

Since the energy ball gave him a sense of danger, Aakesh didnʼt directly face it. He instead activated the sword skill he had bought from the store a day earlier.

Right after he activated it, an invisible aura of sharpness surrounded his sword that was covered in silver blood.

”Crash!”

The next moment,  a crashing sound rang in the area as the energy ball overpowered him, and the force due to the clash of his sword and the ball had knocked him backward.

Fortunately for him, he didnʼt get any serious injury, just a few shallow scratches.

The wolf king didnʼt give him the chance to counterattack as it had already prepared another energy blast for Aakesh.

He had gotten knocked around ten meters due to the force of the clash, so he still wasnʼt far from the range of the wolf king attack. Before he could even stand up, another energy ball came at him.

It didnʼt give him the similar sense of pressure and danger as the previous energy ball, but Aakesh had no interest in taking it head-on.

Aakesh activated the skill, SandPort, and before the energy ball could touch him, he appeared 70 meters away from his location.

”Boom!”

Since Aakesh had disappeared, the energy ball clashed with the tree, and the next moment, a loud explosion rang in the area.

Even Aakesh felt chills, seeing the damage the energy ball had caused on the tree.

It had cut the tree into countless pieces, the size which even Level 25 wouldnʼt be able to see from the naked eyes.

Since the wolf king was in the range of 100 meters, the land beneath its feet had turned into a desert. At first, the desert tried to sink it in, but the wolf king released the wind element around it, and it stopped the sand from binding or sinking it.

The wolf king had already begun preparing for the third energy ball when it had released the second.

The wolf king proved to be more powerful than Aakesh had believed before coming here. He had already killed two Level 50 beings, Mark and the leader of the Netherstorm guild party, but both of them didnʼt give him much challenge.

Aakesh stopped thinking about it since there was no point in that. Even if the wolf king proved to be more powerful, he didnʼt worry. He was still confident of killing the wolf king without losing a sweat.

Aakesh didnʼt deactivate the skill, SandPort, and the next moment, he appeared right in front of the wolf king since it was only around 80 meters away from him, in the range of the skill.

Unlike the last time, Aakesh didnʼt attack the wolf king, but he swung his sword at the energy gathering on the tip of its mouth.

The wolf king didnʼt expect Aakesh to do something like this, and the next moment, an explosion rang right at the tip of its mouth.

Since Aakesh had attacked before the force of the explosion could affect him, using his skill, he disappeared from the position and appeared outside the range of the blast.

The wolf king wasnʼt that fortunate or expected something like this. The force of the explosion blasted its mouth, while it also knocked the wolf king several meters backward.

The wolf king was still in the range of the skill, SandPort, since the desert moved with Aakesh. How could Aakesh let this chance go?

Not even a second had passed since the blast knocked the wolf king when Aakesh reappeared in front of it and swung his sword.

The blasted face that was on the verge of completely healing fell on the ground. The wolf king still wasnʼt dead as Aakesh could see it regenerating right away, so he swung his sword, aiming to sever its head and end the battle.

Before his sword could touch the wolf king and sever its head, Aakesh suddenly sensed an attack coming at him.

Aakesh disappeared from that position right away, while an energy ball similar but less powerful than the wolf kingʼs attack hit it on the same spot Aakesh had cut a moment earlier.

The wolf king cried in pain while Aakesh looked in the direction of the attack. There he saw thousands of wolves charging at him while roaring in anger.

Two wolves led the charge of the beasts, and they were only hundreds of meters away from Aakesh.

Aakesh didnʼt have any interest in waiting for the wolves to come at him, so he activated one of his copied skills.

The next moment, a projection of an elephant the size of a giant mountain appeared above him.

The projection roared at the wolves charging, and the next moment, the same attack that had created a deep pit of more than a mile appeared.

This time, Aakesh had no interest in coming in the crossfire, so right after the projection released the attack, he used a movement skill that consumed 100 units of his energy and appeared a mile away from his previous position.

”BOOM!”

The next moment, an explosion that rocked the entire forest appeared.

All the wolves, including the wolf king, came in the crossfire. Aakesh knew the blast wouldnʼt kill the wolf king, so he jumped down the newly created pit and rushed in the direction of the wolf king.

Not only the wolf king but around hundreds of wolves had survived the blast. Unfortunately for them, they had received numerous severe injuries, so surviving wasnʼt any better than death for them.

The wolf king hasnʼt received any severe injury, but still, not a single part in its body remained unharmed. Its white fur had gotten burnt, while silver blood leaked from all over its body, making it a ghastly sight to watch.

Fortunately for the wolf king, it had an abnormal healing rate, so its numerous injuries healing could be seen through naked eyes.

It was trying to heal when it sensed danger. It looked in front of it. It only saw empty air, but the next moment, the adventurer appeared and swung his sword, aiming to end its life.

The wolf king felt an unprecedented sense of danger.. It knew, if the adventurer succeeded this time, its death was certain.
