The First Store System

Chapter 251: Unexpected Customer

After Veenesh left, Aakesh reclined back on his chair. Only a few seconds had passed when he heard the sound of footsteps entering the store.

Aakesh didnʼt look up to see who it was since it could also be an old customer. If it were a new customer, they would approach him on their own.

”Hello, store owner.”

An unfamiliar gentle female voice rang in the area. Since the voice was unknown to Aakesh, it was a new customer. Aakesh looked up, and a look of surprise appeared on his face.

Although the customer appeared to be a human, Aakesh knew she wasnʼt human but an Angel, a race belonging to the third dimension.

Aakesh masked the look of surprise right away, so the lady didnʼt see it. He then nodded in response to her greetings.

”What products do you sell?” The lady asked, her voice still gentle and soothing to anybody who heard it.

In response, Aakesh began introducing about the products to her, but at the same time, he was also talking with the system in his head.

”Hey, system, how can an Angel appear here?” He asked since the rules of the Primal dimension wouldnʼt be able to handle the energy even unintentionally leaked by such a higher-level being.

[Host, there are treasures that could help higher-level beings appear in the lower dimensions. You can use the skill, Watcher, to know more about her.]

The system responded in its usual mechanical and emotionless voice. Aakesh didnʼt ask anything else since he was already going to use Watcher even without the system suggesting him.

Since he didnʼt get a straight answer from the system, he stopped talking with the system and only focused on the conversation with the Angel.

Time flew by.

The Angel didnʼt show any signs while hearing about the products of the store, but when Aakesh began explaining about Panagea, he noticed the change in her expression, despite her masking it right away.

Aakesh expected the Angel to ask her about the Panagea after he introduced the storeʼs products. She did ask about it and a slot for her.

After hearing that there were no spots left for Panagea, a look of disappointment appeared on her face. She didnʼt ask anything else, turned around, and left the store right away, making Aakesh disappointed.

He couldnʼt use the skill, Watcher, on her before she bought anything from the store, so he couldnʼt know anything about her. He then forgot about her since there was no point in thinking about her purpose of appearing in the Primal dimension.

Aakesh had also noticed the interest she had in Panagea was greater than many customers, so she would surely return to the store to enter Panagea. And, at that time, he would be able to watch over her life.

Aakesh also had gotten all the skills that be had gotten with the class, Watcher in Panagea, but unfortunately, the Universal-Eye only allowed to watch over the present scenes of the beings in the same range as Panagea, unlike the skill, Watcher he had gotten from the system tens of thousands of years ago, it allowed him to watch both past and present of the customer.

When the store was in the first phase, Aakesh only needed the customer to enter the store to see their life, but when the store began its second phase and settled in Kakot, the skill got nerfed. He can now only watch over the life of the customers after they bought a product from the store.

”Today hasnʼt been going well for me,” Aakesh muttered and then closed his eyes to relax.

Today, he had gotten several new customers more than in the last few days, so the store has done well today, and he had also earned a large amount of money, and he had gotten a large commission despite getting only one percent.

Aakesh felt that the day had not been going well for him because, at first, the kind of customer he wanted to arrive in the store entered, but he had no interest in what Aakesh wanted to sell; he only wanted pills. And now, Aakesh finally had an interest to know about the life of tone of the customers, but that customer didnʼt buy anything despite him promoting the Gods & Demons level training area.

While Aakesh was relaxing in his chair, Xator, the husband of Xayaati, was doing what he hated, hard work.

Even though the starter towns were low-level areas, how can there be no exception to this? There were countless such low-level towns, and in those towns, the system had added a few towns with high-level races.

Some of the high-level races, the system had added, were at least Level 100 even when they took birth, so the town didnʼt remain a low-level area anymore.

Xator had found himself in one such town.

The town was called Skruor, and it housed Saint Valkyries, a high-level race of the Sacred dimension.

Valkyries originated from a Primordial creature, and Saint Valkyries were one of the strongest species of the Valkyries.

They had the same appearance as other Valkyries, like long braided hairs, a pair of wings, a spear in the right hand, and a shield in the left hand. The only difference that made the Saint Valkyries stand out from others was their dark green hair and dark green eyes.

It was Xatorʼs bad luck as well as good luck that he had appeared in such a high-level starting town.

It was bad for him because the quests he would get from this town would be even harder than the most difficult quests of other towns. But with this difficulty came greater rewards as well. Even the easiest quest would grant him an increase of at least three levels.

If somehow Xator could impress Saint Valkyries, he could get their blessings and techniques that would be better for even the actual him in the real world.

When Xator appeared in the town, Skruor, his blood ran cold as he felt himself naked in front of thousands of eyes. There were only a few thousand Saint Valkyries in the town, and he became the focus of attention for everyone.

Since everyone in the town was at least a Legendary level lifeform, the entire town that spread tens of thousands of miles was in their eyes.. So when Xator appeared, every single citizen in Skruor sensed his entry.
