Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 697: Chapter 222: New Alliance Task

The success rate of cultivating mutants is extremely low, especially A-level and S-level ones, basically one in ten thousand.

And the resources consumed to cultivate these advanced mutants are equally enormous.

They completely lack the potential for mass production.

Therefore, with the development of biotechnology, a new scientific concept was proposed, which is ’Synthetic People.’

”Synthetic People?”

Du Zhaodi slightly furrowed her brows.

She had heard of this concept.

It is a new species developed based on ’cloning technology.’

Theoretically speaking, once developed, these ’Synthetic People’ would at least possess the power of A-level mutants.

If according to system levels, they are Level 50 Tier 2 Species.

Moreover, these ’Synthetic People’ have an advantage, that is, they can be mass-produced like clones.

Once these advanced cannon fodder are developed, the pattern of the Mechanical Split Star will be rewritten.

However, Du Zhaodi didn’t quite like this approach.

As a traditional lady, she was still planning to pass on the Gao family’s lineage.

I haven’t even given birth yet, and here you are developing some nonsense.

But as someone in a high position, Du Zhaodi managed to suppress this repulsion effectively.

After chatting for a while, she saw off this representative from the Holy Brain Group and pressed a button. Moments later, a holographic projection flashed, and Qin Zhenzi’s figure appeared.

”President Du,” Qin Zhenzi said respectfully.

”Hmm, how did the conversation go?”

At the start of the war, Du Zhaodi had sent Qin Zhenzi as a diplomatic representative to secretly contact those mercenary groups.

She didn’t believe all the mercenary organizations would be willing to unconditionally follow the ’Eternal Financial Group’s’ arrangements and become their expendables.

There should be at least one or two discontented ones.

And indeed, Qin Zhenzi had secretly contacted several high-level members of the mercenary organizations.

”Quite well, now they have relented and expressed willingness to secretly pass information to us.”

Du Zhaodi said indifferently, ”This is not surprising.”

For this war, the Du Gao Group had lost five hundred thousand unmanned mecha in just one month.

The enemy as the attacker definitely wouldn’t have small casualties.

After Du Zhaodi returned, her own alliance’s weapon production efficiency increased by 1000%.

Giving these planetary natives a little shock of ’interstellar war.’

Qin Zhenzi, however, was excited:

”Not only some small organizations, even some high-level members of the ’Tabor Defense System’ have contacted me.”

”Tabor Defense, are you sure?”

The Tabor Defense System is the most elite military contractor on the Mechanical Split Star, known for its formidable firepower, capable of even establishing its own Mechanical Legion.

Even the rising Du Gao Group is a half-tier below it in comparison.

Such a super mercenary group was undoubtedly a key target for the ’Eternal Financial Group’ to rope in, so Du Zhaodi had to ask.

”Shares of Tabor Defense have already been acquired by the Eternal Financial Group in various ways to 41.4%, essentially attaining control and even bypassing Tabor Defense’s management to directly communicate with its corporate will.”

Qin Zhenzi paused and said:

”But precisely because of this, the current Titan of Tabor Defense is unwilling to be a puppet, so they contacted us.”

”I see.”

The management of Tabor Defense calls themselves the ’Titan Race,’ each is a super-large Mechanical Transformer. It is rumored that they once had the opportunity to obtain ’Cybertron Technology,’ so the weapon systems they developed commonly outperform market standards by a full tier.

”They revealed a piece of information to me.”

Qin Zhenzi said with a serious expression:

”The Eternal Financial Group is searching for our ’Mecha Factory,’ and they have already pinpointed the coordinates.”

Du Zhaodi glanced at the entire coordinates, her eyebrows raising; this coordinate is indeed one of the largest underground production bases of Du Gao Technology.

...

Meanwhile, on the Southern Hemisphere, the Foundation was also thriving.

After waging a corporate war and successfully driving three ’counterfeit’ companies out of the market, the Foundation members suddenly had an epiphany, realizing a truth.

That is, gang-fighting is really exhilarating!

About 30 companies, deploying all their military might, ganged up on other companies, sabotaging their Brain-Machine Plans, and eliminating their eligibility to participate in the Electronic Brain Plan.

This feeling, it is exceptionally satisfying!

Thus, without Mr. G needing to appear to make a compelling case, the members began to act on their own, organizing weapon departments, logistics departments, and research departments one after another.

The objective is clear, to take down other businesses in the Southern Hemisphere.

The winner of the third phase must be selected from among their internal members.

And during the course of the war, another favorable occurrence emerged.

That is the involvement of players.

Currently, the number of players employed by the ’Mr. G Research Association (Foundation named)’ has already reached over hundreds of thousands.

There are two reasons for this.

First, Gao Gong, as a veteran player, has always taken care of this group of little celestial calamities.

Compared to other organizations where they have to meet various ’preconditions,’ ’build reputation,’ and ’complete tasks,’ joining the ’Research Association’ is far easier, essentially non-existent threshold.

The key is that the benefits are good, you can even ’buy chips,’ or ’operate a Gao Da.’

Another reason is that within the ’Research Association,’ there are various ’models’ of brain-machine interfaces. As a player with an endless variety of interests, you can choose any brain-machine to let your imagination run wild.

But if you join other factions, your brain-machine choice often narrows down to just one.

So, under the influence of these hundreds of thousands of fearless players, who can respawn even after death,

One corporate military force after another was destroyed, ’artificial data’ was controlled and transformed.

A bizarre, massive ’corporate alliance’ was thus haphazardly born.

And the most core reason why these enterprises could engage in resource cooperation is, of course, the enigmatic Mr. G.

After all, the news of him sinking a continent has already spread from within the ’Research Association.’

The disloyal ones lost their doubt.

Those without doubt became even more fanatical.

...

[Your ’Leader Reputation’ +1000]

[Your ’Leader Reputation’ +1000]

[Your ’Leader Reputation’ +1000]

[Your ’Leader Reputation’ +1000]

...

[You have earned the title of ’Mall Alliance Leader’]

Mall Alliance Leader: You organized a large-scale corporate summit and played a pivotal role. Many entrepreneurs participating in the summit expressed sincere respect for you and acknowledged your industry status, Leader Reputation +2000

Because of the achievements of the corporate alliance, Gao Gong’s reputation increased by 10,000.

Plus the 2,000 from being ’Alliance Leader.’

Gao Gong didn’t do anything, yet the most difficult alliance attribute to increase, ’Leader Reputation,’ skyrocketed by 12,000 to reach 71,800 points.

Gao Gong’s second ’Leader Template’ is now very close.

”Interesting.”

Gao Gong smacked his lips and turned to look at another alliance task.

Honestly, the passive triggering of this alliance task was something he completely didn’t expect.

[Alliance Task: Crisis of the ’Mecha Factory’]

Difficulty: ??

Task Briefing: The Eternal Financial Group has noticed that Du Gao Group’s ’Sea of Machines Tactic’ poses a significant obstacle to their military operations. Therefore, they dispatched several super mercenaries, attempting to destroy the enemy’s logistics and disrupt their mecha tactics. This is a dangerous special operation and, if not stopped, will greatly impact the alliance’s strategy.

Task Objective: Destroy all mercenary forces (Each super mercenary squad destroyed will increase the task reward)

Basic Reward: Alliance Experience +50 million, Alliance Points +100 thousand, Leader Reputation +4000, Random five alliance blueprints

Special Reward: For each super mercenary squad destroyed, Alliance Experience +10 million, randomly drop a type of enemy transformation technology.

Alliance Reward: Unknown

”There’s even an alliance reward!”

In the tasks Gao Gong has undertaken, he has never received an ’alliance reward.’

This can only mean one thing: once this hurdle is overcome, Du Gao Group’s power will receive a qualitative leap.

Having an additional ’Shipgirl’ in our alliance, the benefits of this, Gao Gong understands very well.

After all, in the previous life, his alliance also had a Shipgirl, which greatly empowered it, transforming it from an ordinary virtual faction into one capable of engaging in an ’interstellar war’ with the Mechanical Civilization.

This is the third large-scale task Gao Gong currently has.

The other two tasks are [Planet Task: Descent Faction—Eradicating Polluters] and [Leader Reputation Task—Behind the Scenes of the Electronic Brain Plan]

The former involves dealing with followers of the ’Memory Mother.’

The latter is a template task, requiring victory in the Electronic Brain Plan.

This is the third one.

The only problem is, why, being the faction’s head honcho and power behind the throne, did he learn about this important matter from the task panel!?

Filled with fury, Gao Gong connected to Director Du’s encrypted communication, and unexpectedly, what appeared in the holographic projection was a seductive and capable workplace white bone spirit, Qin Zhenzi.

Before Gao Gong could speak, Qin Zhenzi said expressionlessly:

”President Du said she will handle this matter herself, so President Gao doesn’t need to worry.”

Gao Gong, furious, exclaimed, ”Is this how you talk to your leader? Do you believe I won’t cut your insurance!”

However, Qin Zhenzi’s face suddenly broke into an extremely charming smile, crossing her arms as her B-cup pushed up to a C-cup size.

”President Du also said, President Gao is busy with big matters, this small issue shouldn’t trouble him.”

Gao Gong snorted impatiently:

”Are you sure you can handle it? Those super mercenaries are all experts at assassination, don’t let yourself get caught off guard.”

”Rest assured, President Du has already made arrangements, you just get ready for effortless victory.”

Effortless victory, after all, is Person G’s highest pursuit, but Gao Gong still couldn’t help but say, ”I know Director Du is strong after her transformation, but don’t be reckless. If necessary, I can make a quick trip, after all, I run fast.”

”No need, really no need...”

Qin Zhenzi declined Gao Gong’s assistance with a smile, then chatted for a while before ending the communication.

At the Holy Brain Group Headquarters—

”How did it go?”

”Rest assured, President Du, President Gao is very obedient, he didn’t even glance around, and he is very concerned about you.”

Director Du nodded in satisfaction, and as a thought moved, the sky darkened, and a massive interstellar battleship appeared in the sky.

Tier 3 Interstellar Battleship, Cybertron Destroyer: Great Curved Saber

A flash of light, and the two of them vanished.
