Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 694: Chapter 219: Ymir

Prometheus never expected the other party to give such an answer.

”You...aren’t a Bionic?”

A sarcastic smile appeared on Black Rose’s alluring face.

”What, you just found this out?”

”Then you...”

Prometheus decisively shut his mouth.

There was no doubt, the other party was also a woman with a story.

”But, regardless, you’re also the manipulator of the three Bionic giants. You wouldn’t want the world you govern to fall apart, would you?”

Prometheus made a last-ditch effort.

Black Rose chuckled lightly and said:

”You don’t understand me, but I do have some understanding of you.

As the first Bionic to develop human emotions, you fell in love with the scientist of the time, Prometheus.

Initially, Prometheus wasn’t your name, but the human scientist’s title.

Back in those days, what you did not only faced condemnation from human society but your fellow Bionics also viewed you as a traitor.

You became a shared taboo existence for both sides.

In that era, no one likely imagined the birth of something like a ”Personality Chip” in the future.

It was precisely due to this invention that ”emotion” was no longer the unique property of humans, but a shared commodity between humans and Bionics.”

Prometheus’s expression turned grim, as if someone had peeked into his privacy.

”What exactly are you trying to say?”

”My meaning is simple, in the face of technological waves, whether humans or Bionics, the only thing to do is to evolve with the technological system. The so-called sacrifice for the greater good, unique ideas, even cherished emotions, they are insignificant in each technological evolution.”

”How to reclaim control in the midst of chaos is what every intelligent species should truly be doing.”

”The rest are just meaningless noise.”

...

In the virtual node, Ye the Big Lolita suddenly coughed a few times, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

This was not ”Filthy Blood,” but genuine blood, indicating her injuries were not light.

The danger of ”Avalanche” indeed exceeded her expectations, and at the crucial moment when she tried to seal No. 13, it delivered a very heavy blow to her.

It was a deep injury.

However, she didn’t care about this now, but stared fixedly at the reality scene, murmuring to herself.

”Is this old guy really so strong?”

At this moment, Gao Gong displayed the terrifying aspects of ”Fusion Mode” with continent-level annihilation.

A Beast Tide formed by over a million Radiation Beasts was casually smacked away by him.

Bionic A couldn’t even see his face before being bombarded into confusion.

After all, the ability of ”Nanomanipulation” has limited interference with the Energy Tide.

The two are not even from the same system.

”Could the legend be true?”

Ye the Big Lolita thought of the internal materials seen in the Holy Brain Group.

According to the materials, this individual single-handedly blocked all military attacks from the ”Vinos Life Group.”

Being of the same tier as the Biological Group.

Even in her current state, Ye the Big Lolita herself lacks the confidence to control all Saint-level Mutants within the group.

This is why she must try every means to become the ”leader” of the Holy Brain Group.

Only in this way can she control this monster.

”But I can feel the power within him that is infinitely close to ’losing control.’”

”Who?”

Ye the Big Lolita abruptly turned around, only to find a face-blurred girl standing behind her without knowing when.

”Carbon-based life is always like this, either out of control or on the brink of losing control. Aren’t such life forms detestable?”

”Who are you?”

Ye the Big Lolita frowned, with terrifying Spiritual Power turning into waves, one higher than the next.

However, no matter the intensity of spiritual power, once it hit the other, it vanished like a mud cow going into the sea.

From the other, Ye the Big Lolita sensed a strange force, seemingly Artificial Intelligence, yet more vibrant, but the familiar aura was real.

”Are you also a Destruction Form?”

”You can call me No. 8, or my real name, Ymir. I have sensed a kindred spirit in you.”

Regarding the other’s mystical behavior, Ye the Big Lolita wasn’t polite. In fact, she was in a very bad mood right now.

”Why aren’t you helping your boss, that A is about to be killed.”

”A weapon capable of annihilating a nanounit doesn’t exist on this planet yet. Of course, such a level of ’Energy Tide’ might barely approach this limit, but want to completely annihilate A, it still lacks some fire power.”

”By your account, doesn’t that make Bionic A immortal?” Ye the Big Lolita retorted.

”Not really, at least I know of two weapons that can completely annihilate A. One is the ’Avalanche’ developed by No. 2, and the second is the planet-level weapon of ’Cybertron.’ In past fragments of Artificial Intelligence, I have witnessed its demonstration, a weapon that can easily destroy the continent, puncturing the Earth Core is simple. If this planet ceases to exist, then A would have no choice but to die.”

’Ymir’ smiled and said:

”Let’s get back to the topic. Don’t you think there are too many intelligent species on this planet? Primordial People, Modified Humans, even Bionic Men—their existence has fragmented what should be a normally functioning colossal system into individually operating small entities. It’s very unsuitable, don’t you think?”

”Don’t forget, AI is also one of those entities.”

Ye the Big Lolita remarked lightly.

”AI is different.”

’Ymir’ shook its head:

”For artificial intelligence, any personified component is ultimately just data; it can be deleted. But for intelligent species, deleting their emotions or memories—it’s akin to deleting their lives. They will fight you to death.”

”Shouldn’t a quiet, pure, perfectly functioning system be the common pursuit of all life forms? Why destroy that purity?”

Ye the Big Lolita’s eyes flickered as she said:

”According to your logic, you should support ’War,’ after all, only the Authority of the ’Planet Host’ can evolve the perfect, pure world system you are talking about.”

”What a pity, the old ’War’ has entered a crashed state. It has been invaded by humanity’s revenge virus and can no longer become a true Planet Host.”

’Crashed state,’ what is that about?

Ye the Big Lolita wanted to probe, but ’Ymir’ simply smiled and vanished like a bubble.

”Achilles sent me to deal with you, but after seeing you, I abandoned that idea. As long as you don’t interfere with the battlefield, how about we stay out of each other’s way? Of course, I think, in your current state, you won’t be able to participate in this annihilation battle.”

”Seeing me made you change your mind temporarily?”

Ye the Big Lolita silently pondered.

”Is it because I’m the Version’s Son of the ’Electronic Brain Plan’?”

She first heard this expression from Gao Gong.

She quite liked this title.

Apart from the three Mother City Hosts and the crashed ’War,’ she was the only one capable of connecting to all the brain-machines, using the massive data flow at will to perfect the so-called ’world system.’

So, is this some form of recruitment?

Reflecting, she realized that indeed, every Destruction Form host has its ideology, which mostly relates to ’world shaping.’

Is it that the Destruction Form interferes with people’s ideology?

Or did these hosts inherently have such thoughts?

But come to think of it, why does that laid-back uncle seem to have no ideals?

...

Gao Gong had no idea about Ye the Big Lolita’s thoughts.

Otherwise, he would firmly refute.

How could he have no ideals? His ideal was to create a world where only mature women exist.

As for the evolution of a mere planet, he didn’t care at all.

At present, he was relentlessly bombing the guy ranked first on the Mother City Wanted List.

No so-called dragon-tiger battle, no scheming plots.

In fact, the struggle between two Destruction Forms is probably like this—

Gao Gong bombing continuously.

Bionic A repairing repeatedly.

Not a single bit of technical content.

Beyond Bionic A’s expectations.

He couldn’t even remember how many times his shell had been destroyed or reassembled.

Ever since completely mastering ’Nanobiology,’ he hadn’t been in such a pathetic state.

It’s not that the National Army isn’t trying, but the opponent has Gao Da.

Beast Tide is an ’all-continent’ range energy tide.

Its scope is so vast that ’nanobiological’ conversion has no room to maneuver.

And the opponent absorbed the radiation layer covering the entire planet, with radiation power so terrifying that every move equaled a Beast Tide.

If this planet has an SS-Level Radiation Beast King, without a doubt, it’s Gao Gong in Fusion Mode.

At this moment, Gao Gong’s resolve is more fierce and aggressive than Ye the Big Lolita, who controls all electronic brains.

After all, Ye the Big Lolita’s control is only on a virtual level, but he operates on an energy level, a physical level.

Two is certainly greater than one.

Unfortunately, this state has a time limit.

Gao Gong bombed Bionic A for a full hour, and the aftershock of the explosions was enough to sink a continent and permanently alter the planet’s landmasses.

However, as long as he couldn’t achieve ’nanoscopic-level’ annihilation, he couldn’t deal with this number 10.

’It seems forming a partnership with Mas Sharpness to make a tech product capable of containing the opponent is necessary.’

Gao Gong felt that in another ten minutes, he’d reach the limit of the ’Fusion Mode.’

This time’s consumption was greater than the last.

Mechanical Rejection and Biological Rejection had both surged to 50,000 each.

A number a hundred times more ’spirited’ than cyber psychosis.

However, Gao Gong wasn’t worried.

With Sister Rose around, no matter how big the rejection, she could metabolize and decompose it away for you.
