Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 693: Chapter 218: Anti-Bionic Man Philosophy

Bionic A still appeared otherworldly, with features so beautiful they seemed inhuman, and a physique like an ”ancient sculpture,” unmatched in its athletic grace.

Beside her stood the ancient bionic, Prometheus, who appeared as a voluptuous matron.

Bionics with large busts are not uncommon; theoretically, as long as materials are continually added, they can grow infinitely.

However, a bionic with a maternal aura is rare, for one simple reason: bionics have no reproductive system.

She is a bionic with a story to tell.

The gracious matron Prometheus eyed Gao Gong curiously, her eyes shimmering with a unique light.

”You are one of us, right?”

”Indeed, I’m Number 5. Everyone calls me Neighbor Wang Laowu, but you can call me Five Finger Mountain,” Gao Gong said with a straight face, spouting nonsense.

Sister Rose also displayed a menacing smile as she looked at Prometheus.

”You sealed me in the company before; I haven’t settled that score with you yet.”

”That wasn’t my intention,” Prometheus shook her head, looking at Bionic A, ”Perhaps we could cooperate.”

Bionic A said nothing the whole time, instead, her gaze burned as she stared at Gao Gong. After a long moment, she spoke:

”It’s been many years since I’ve been this injured.”

The smile on Gao Gong’s face only widened:

”You were merely injured; my physical body was completely obliterated.”

”It seems you’re not from this planet, otherwise, how would you know the concept of the Cosmic Relic.”

”Can’t I just be guessing?”

Then, without waiting for a response, Gao Gong attacked directly, opening the Purple String Space in an instant, where each spatial prism contained a phantom of Gao Gong’s mechanical body.

Thousands upon thousands of energy attacks instantly engulfed the opponent.

This time, Gao Gong wouldn’t give the opponent a chance for ”nanobiology.”

Yet, these terrifying numbers of attacks merely punched thumb-sized holes in the opponent, and these holes rapidly began to regenerate.

Even critical areas like the head and eyes were the same.

Bionic A grabbed with one hand, instantly turning nearly half of the space mirrors into powder.

At the same time, his other hand reached unhesitatingly for Black Rose.

The interaction between the Destruction Forms began with combat.

”Hmph!!”

Black Rose snorted coldly, and the bionic eye hidden beneath her red hair emitted an indescribable fluctuation.

In an instant, the ’metabolism’ inside Bionic A accelerated a thousandfold, with thousands of human organs on the verge of extruding from his skin.

Bionic A’s arm disintegrated into thousands of tendrils, and the previously aimed ”nano reconstruction” barely grazed past Black Rose.

A gigantic ’passageway’ extended from one end of the city to the other.

Inside this ’passageway,’ everything material collapsed on the spot.

Bionic A’s body similarly disintegrated and then reformed into a new flesh body, casting a wary glance at Black Rose.

”Troublesome ability.”

”Not just you can undergo Destruction.”

Black Rose suddenly vanished from her spot, reappearing as her long, sultry leg turned into a bolt of lightning, fiercely striking at Bionic A.

Bionic A raised his arm high, and with a loud bang, a massive crater with a 10 km diameter appeared on the ground.

In mid-air, Black Rose twisted her waist, spun around, and drove her stiletto heel fiercely towards his eye.

Barely squinting, Bionic A’s skin instantly spawned countless cracks, threatening to turn him to dust.

However, as the ’Metabolism Queen’ ability activated, the entire flesh rapidly healed.

The heel’s blade was alarmingly close.

Blade to brain!

A large hole was punched through A’s head, with even the eyeball obliterated, yet he seemed unaffected, grabbing Black Rose’s calf with one hand; his bionic sinews tensed, catapulting Black Rose away like a cannonball, disappearing into the skyline.

Yet in the next moment, a purple flash appeared, and Black Rose materialized once more before the two, her right hand had transformed into a top Tier 2 bionic samurai sword, space ripples encircling the blade—if this strike lands, even Bionic A will be injured.

Both Black Rose and Gao Gong had grown much stronger than before.

”Prometheus!”

Reluctantly, Bionic A called for help.

The bionic matron shielded A’s flank, her hand seemingly reaching through space to grasp the sword blade. The same purple glow flashed, nullifying Gao Gong’s added ’Purple Energy Strings’ ability.

”The Destruction Form’s abilities can also undergo reverse bionics?”

From the air, Gao Gong’s slightly surprised voice emerged.

Prometheus chuckled lightly, ”It seems our fellow kind has things still unknown to him.”

”Heh.”

Gao Gong offered no reply; the next moment, the ground disappeared, replaced by a vast purple mirror.

Outside the mirror was Bionic A.

And in the mirror, there’s Black Rose and Prometheus.

”By separating me from them, are you sure you can handle me?”

Bionic A said with a slight provocation, and as his power activated, materials around him continuously turned into smoke and then dispersed with the wind.

The rejection rate for bionics is much lower than that of modified humans.

Plus, the Authority of the ’Bionic Ancestor.’

It can be said that the most top-tier bionic implants on this planet can be equipped by Black Rose at any time.

So, in just a year, she transformed from a top-notch assassin into a bionic monster.

However, Bionic A believes that there are only a few monsters in this world, and he doesn’t believe the other can become the same kind of monster in just a few months, at least not a modified human.

Even a Destruction Form is merely just a Destruction Form.

The change of the Host of the Destruction Form has happened more than once.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, his expression changed, and he looked up at the sky.

Thunder rumbled continuously in the sky, the radiation clouds almost touching the ground, with occasional white flashes, which was S-Level radiation energy.

Amidst the dark clouds, a gigantic face was faintly visible.

”Do you think I’m separating them, or is there a possibility that I’m just separating you?”

Gao Gong’s voice echoed with a hint of amusement from the radiation layer.

”After all, once I take action, it’s hard to distinguish friend from foe.”

The next moment, dozens of rays of light descended from the clouds, and Bionic A’s expression changed.

He felt an indescribable threat from these ’points of light.’

The ability of ’Nanomanipulation’ was triggered in response, decomposing these points of light.

However, the next moment, a terrifying energy tide erupted from the ground.

Within the map section, an abandoned city directly ’disappeared.’

...

Inside the Purple String Space, Prometheus stared blankly at the scene, and a rare trace of astonishment appeared on the face of the gentle woman.

After a long while, she turned her head and said to Black Rose in surprise: ”Where did you find this monster? This man didn’t even use the power of ’Destruction.’

Black Rose’s lips curled slightly, revealing a charming smile.

”Good things need to be nurtured from a young age, men are the same.”

”You know, I’ve always believed that bionics shouldn’t engage in civil war,” Prometheus regained her composure after the brief shock.

”In this ’future,’ bionic development has surpassed what we old things imagined, in the past, we only hoped that bionics would have a place the size of an island.”

”And now, bionics have become the largest race on this planet.”

Prometheus looked earnestly at Black Rose:

”Therefore, I’m willing to mediate your conflicts.”

However, Black Rose showed a mocking expression.

”Isn’t it possible that our biggest conflict isn’t between me and A, but with you?”

”What?”

”The conflict between A and me is that he wants to overthrow the Mother City and must initiate a bionic revolution, and as the ruler of the Bionic Realm, any threat to my rule must be eliminated.”

”But ultimately, I have no deep hatred with him. If he can really overthrow the Mother City on his own, I’d be happy to see it happen, even willing to secretly help him a bit; that’s between him and me. But between you and me, it’s like a chicken talking to a duck, a futile waste of words.”

”Because you are too naive, so naive that you fail to realize the greatest crisis for the bionic race has already arrived.”

”What?”

Black Rose fixed her eyes on the other and said softly:

”I do not agree with Bionic A’s approach, but I think his actions are meaningful, the ’bionics’ have already completed the ’bionics’ of all human functions, which means this race has reached the end of evolution.”

”And the existence of the three Mother Cities also seals off the planet, preventing the biggest advantage of bionics, ’unlimited mass production,’ from being realized because the planet’s resources are limited.”

”Therefore, only by overthrowing the Mother City can this race break through the evolutionary limit, and for an intelligent species, inability to evolve is to await death.”

”And yet you think that maintaining the current situation is enough, which is why, as the Bionic Ancestor, you are no match for A.”

”We just need to follow the will of the Mother City to live well, no need for such extreme measures,” Prometheus retorted.

”We are just toys of the Mother City, and the birth of the three ’Destruction Forms’ means that our utility value has ended, and what’s left is for the Mother City to make new toys to replace us.”

”For example, once the Electronic Brain Plan is completed, the computational power of robots will exceed the limit, they are colder, more ruthless, more reckless. Do you think we will still have an advantage?”

”Also, as far as I know, many biological giants are researching the new concept of ’Synthetic People.’

Once developed, Synthetic People will have the power of Super Mercenaries. Their thinking, physical potential, including mass production speed, all exceed ours, which means the counterattack of carbon-based creatures is imminent.”

Prometheus took a deep breath, as if seeing the bionic race of the future suffering in the fire.

”Then why did you choose to oppose A?”

Black Rose looked curiously at the other and said:

”I’m not a bionic, what does the life or death of bionics have to do with me?”
