Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 681: Chapter 206: Armor Soul

The low-level skill of ’Radiation Invisibility’ cannot interfere with the Bio-Fusion Guardian’s perception.

The next moment, two ’Security Venoms’ discovered the four people.

However, before they could launch an attack, their vision blacked out. Then they looked at ’Ms. Ye’ like a puppy looking at its owner.

’Ms. Ye’ said with a smile:

”Interesting biological experiment, reminds me of my carefree childhood.”

Black Rose stepped up, touching the opponent’s skin with her finger sensing something, and said with interest: ”Chaotic yet precise chemical messengers can achieve 100% human weaponization in an instant. I thought only Bionic Men could do such a thing.”

”Because they were developed as weapons back then,”

Gao Gong’s fingers turned into a spike, piercing into its skin with a strong sucking sound.

[You absorbed the Bio-Fusion Guardian’s genes, Power (permanent) +5, Blood Volume +1000]

[You absorbed the Bio-Fusion Guardian’s genes, Agility (permanent) +3, Endurance +200]

[You absorbed the Bio-Fusion Guardian’s genes, Physical Strength +400]

After swallowing the last bite, the over-three-meter-tall monster turned to dust, and Gao Gong twisted his body, then transformed into the shape of the Bio-Fusion Guardian the next moment.

’Ms. Ye’ rolled her eyes, ”Unnecessary.”

”Hehe,” Gao Gong grinned, his nearly one-meter-long tongue almost licking her face.

”Let’s go, see what’s ahead.”

The two giants led the way in front, while Black Rose and Ms. Ye walked behind. Both women were top-level strong individuals on this planet, naturally having their methods to avoid being detected.

For example, Black Rose could operate certain chemicals inside others, creating blind spots in their vision.

Whereas Ms. Ye directly deleted the generated images from someone’s mind.

Besides the two level 50 boss monsters, Gao Gong also saw more ’Bio-Fusioners.’ Their levels may not be high, generally around level 30, but it’s clear they mostly have sub-roles, like Biologists and researchers.

In short, they are a group of support-type NPCs.

Seeing this, Gao Gong understood that these ’Bio-Fusion Armors’ had become sentient.

Or rather, the ’Bio-Fusion Technology’ professional knowledge chain had been developed to its pinnacle, even spawning a ’new species.’

This was probably the biggest trump card of the Xiao Family.

”X12, No. 13, why are you here? Go transport the cargo; another batch has arrived recently.”

No. X12, namely Gao Gong, looked at the scientist with the large head not far away. His head was alien-like, extending to his backside, yet his body was abnormally thin, almost skin and bones.

’You go, I’ll take this little girl down below to find part of No. 9. You should be able to sense something is wrong with No. 9.’

Black Rose’s voice echoed in Gao Gong’s mind.

Gao Gong had actually long discovered that among Destruction Forms, when they get within a certain distance, the sensing between them is very strong. But even here, the sensing remained faint, as if it might sever at any moment.

’Can Destruction itself also die?’

Such a thought flashed through Gao Gong’s mind.

So he didn’t act rashly, instead, he quietly followed the scientist with the large head.

Soon, they arrived at the cargo area, where many ’Bio-Fusioners’ were already transporting goods, which were twisted, transformed prosthetic body parts of evidently high quality.

Gao Gong picked up a mechanical hand split in half.

Name: Blade Demon Hand (Damaged)

Level: Tier 2 - Black Technology

Note: This prosthetic once possessed the ability to undergo large-scale transformations.

’Martial God Armor indeed.’

”Bring a compatible one over! I want to study it.”

On the other side, the scientist with the large head beckoned a Bio-Fusioner, who eagerly ran over, melted into liquid form, causing his limbs to swell rapidly, with the bend of his spine supported by strong muscles.

The immense power enabled him to lift several tons, even dozens of tons of weight at will.

”Is it more odd bits again, and why do you keep messing with these if you can’t get the core industrial components from the Xie Family!”

”Elder Lord Xiao, is it comfortable? Do you want me to reinforce your back muscles?”

A grotesque face suddenly surfaced at the neck area, flattering with an ingratiating smile.

”Stop that,” the Xiao-named scientist slapped the face away with some disgust, saying, ”If I knew this when designing you, I’d have added some aesthetics to it. You’re all such grotesque figures.”

”What is ’aesthetics’? Elder Lord Xiao, are our faces not beautiful?”

”By human standards, all of you should be sent to the incinerator.”

By now, Gao Gong was already silently hauling a ton of cargo to the warehouse.

Through the transparent glass on both sides of the corridor, many Bio-Fusioners could be seen testing weapons, experimenting with energy, recording data, with some emerging from the pool, their vessels and granulations still wildly moving. It seemed they were recently born, unable to fully control their abilities.

’A newborn ’Bio-Fusion Body Race.’

Gao Gong finally understood why the Xiao Family’s Bio-Fusion Technology developed so rapidly, even pointing out a level 60 Martial God.

What’s more professional than researching oneself?

Meanwhile, the three women also reached the deepest part of the underground research institute.

There was a large white bone door forged from unknown materials, equipped with complex biological research equipment outside, plus various sizes of Bio-Fusioner researchers, led by a level 60 Female Bio-Fusioner, endowed with prominent female characteristics and more intricate surface patterns.

”Begin the 253rd experiment.”

With the cold instruction from the Female Bio-Fusioner, the white bone door instantly ignited. The flames were so dense with biological energy. As the door slowly opened, a pitch-black, terrifying, disfigured mechanical body was revealed.

This mechanical body was pierced by countless biological straws, with over 50% of its parts completely damaged, beyond repair.

The parts that could be repaired were also full of cracks.

All three agreed that this mechanical body had little time left before it would stop functioning.

’Is this No. 7?’

Black Rose frowned, displeased by the scene before her.

Xiao Yu’s condition was worse, as a sword-shaped crown on her scalp began to bleed, with the blood flowing incessantly.

The level 60 Female Bio-Fusioner seemed to sense something, looking in the direction of the three women.

But saw nothing.

As the experiment commenced, a transparent human form was gradually peeled off from the ’Black Armor.’

”A soul?” Ms. Ye muttered to herself.
