Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 652: Chapter 183: Judy

The individuals created by cloning technology can never be 100% identical.

Therefore, generally speaking, advanced cloning technology will incorporate two additional technologies: memory real-time conversion and personality calibration.

Memory real-time conversion allows the clone to seamlessly possess the memories of the original.

As for personality calibration, it’s simpler: a saying goes that by the age of three, a person’s nature will show. To drastically change one’s personality without significant upheavals is impossible.

With cloning, combined with these two technologies, the probability of the clone rebelling is reduced by 90%.

However, exceptions exist.

For instance, if the person is innately rebellious.

Quite coincidentally, Cain Vinos is such a person; he is an extreme egoist and hides it very well.

So well that no one doubts his loyalty, and after enduring numerous trials, he successfully rose to become the ’Young Master’.

Moreover, the clone successfully inherited this trait.

The virus stubbornly failed to evolve into a version capable of counteracting.

The board applied pressure on him.

Even ’Mother’ attempted to replant a ’Thought Steel Seal’ on him.

Under such circumstances, he had no thought of exhausting himself and dying for the corporation.

He needed to consider his own retreat.

...

Ten days later, the ’Life Supreme Laboratory’ suddenly delivered good news.

The twenty-fifth generation virus produced a new genetic sequence, and this genetic sequence could effectively block the pit body.

Soon, in the laboratory, in front of the assembled top executives, ten ’antibody carriers’ were injected with the twenty-fifth generation virus.

Soon, screams echoed as these ten individuals’ bodies heated up, with their skin cracking at the nape of their necks, blood spurting out. When the blood dried, a ’Brain-Machine Hole’ appeared on the nape.

”Immediately proceed with human trials.”

Quickly, ten biological tubes were inserted into the ’Brain-Machine Hole’, and a sucking sound arose as these people turned directly into fluids that were absorbed.

”Artificial data upload successful!”

”Computational power conversion successful!”

”Antibodies failed; the new virus succeeded!”

The onlookers erupted in cheers.

”Immediately arrange for all artificial data access!”

Cain made the decision on the spot.

”Do we need to inform the board?” ’Judy’ asked.

’Cain’ shook his head coldly.

”What the board needs is results, not promises. Once the new virus is rolled out, the board will naturally acknowledge my achievements.”

’Judy’ thought for a moment and didn’t oppose it.

Recently, he was also frustrated with various orders from the higher-ups.

Soon, network clouds began to materialize in the real world, and beneath these digital clouds, actual rain began to fall in a drizzly manner. While it brought a sense of coolness, it also sent shivers down one’s spine.

If a normal person’s vision could be magnified a hundredfold, they would realize that each raindrop was actually a combination of countless virus cells formed by genetic sequences.

The entire continent, nearly 60 million square kilometers, was experiencing a torrential downpour. This phenomenon was not something that could be caused by just one or two ’typhoon climates’.

The network cloud could upload artificial data, and naturally, it could also ’download’ biological viruses.

Moreover, countless military satellites once again locked onto this continent.

In the chat group, the executives were astonished.

Although they were unclear about what Gao Gong did, for nearly a month, the Brain-Machine Virus of the Vinos Life Safety Group truly hadn’t spread to other continents.

This made them have a little more expectation towards Gao Gong.

However, naturally, those more concerned were the old friends from the Du Gao Group.

As the President’s lapdog, in the absence of the President, he gave only one order.

Not allowed to enter the Southern Hemisphere!

”Does that idiot really think he can take on a hundred million on his own, that damn fool, damn Gao Gong,” this elegant tone, you can tell it’s the Little Woman.

”From a machine’s perspective, human efficiency is the lowest,” said Dr. Rong.

”Boss’s strength is now above the Martial God. If something really happens, even if he can’t win, he can still escape,” said Daisila.

”Master’s biological transformation has reached an unimaginable level; I believe in him,” said Sunx Hong.

”No, Master’s mechanical transformation is the strongest!” said Helli Wild.

”War requires armies; I’ve never agreed with Boss’s plan,” said General Quel.

...

The rain poured down, and every Vinos employee was busy beyond measure.

Only Cain, holding a coffee, leisurely watched the rain curtain outside the window.

After a long time, he put down the cup and walked towards another direction.

’Detection, face recognition... sensory validation... blood test... genetic sequence...’

’Detection successful, welcome, Mr. Cain.’

Level 3 Civilization Architecture Nest, after completing the detection, the flesh-and-blood door slowly opened, faintly revealing several preserved bodies within.

”What are you doing, ’Cain’!”

Accompanied by a cold voice, ’Cain’ turned his head, looking towards ’Judy’.

”Oh? As the Electronic Network Department’s director, shouldn’t you be monitoring the real-time virus distribution plan instead of coming here?”

”Because of you!”

’Judy’ took a deep breath and said, ”These past few days, I can feel something off about you. The enterprise database, Biological Laboratory database, Network Biological Cloud, all have traces of you browsing with an intranet account. What exactly are you doing?”

’Cain’ said in surprise, ”As the executive president, isn’t it normal for me to observe every department’s project progress?”

”Perhaps, but I have a hunch you’re up to something, and someone is covering for you,” ’Judy’ said seriously. ”Don’t take the wrong path!”

’Cain’ revealed a sinister smile and said, ”According to the ’Clone Management Laws,’ unless we make significant contributions, we can only be regularized by significant achievements, like winning this corporate war, or else we’ll fall back into slumber after completing our mission, being switched back to the original.”

”But now, do you think it’s possible?”

”So, are you planning to kill the original and replace him?” ’Judy’ placed her hand on her waist, ”We shouldn’t violate corporate rules; without the company’s experiments, we wouldn’t exist.”

”You’re right; what you said makes sense, so I don’t plan on doing that. I have a better idea.”

’Cain’ smiled and said, ”We can become our own true masters, and the clones will assume their roles.”

Usurp the nest?

’Judy’ suddenly understood his plan. However, before she could speak, ’Cain’ continued:

”You might think I’ll invite you to join next, absolutely not, as someone who just got stamped with a Thought Steel Seal, how could you be with me, so I chose a more suitable partner.”

A black shadow walked out from the ’Nest’, impatiently saying, ”Why bother with her; she’s just a copy product.”

”I’m the genuine one.”

In ’Judy’s stunned gaze, another Judy walked out from the nest.

And this Judy was the true Judy in every sense.
