Chapter 696: Chapter 367: Eevee’s Evolution Goal! Snorlax Exclusive Pokeblock, Created!

Upon hearing this, Eevee immediately shook its head: ”Vee!” It still wanted to evolve into a more powerful Eevee.

Naoki chuckled, ”Then let’s have a look! So far, you can choose from eight evolution paths.”

Eevee lowered its head to look at the book.

Naoki pointed to the eight evolutionary forms of Eevee above, introducing each one:

”Flareon, a Fire Type Pokemon, can spew scorching flames from its mouth to burn its opponent.”

”Vee?” Eevee showed a look of interest, appearing somewhat curious about this Flareon.

Naoki continued, ”Vaporeon, a Water Type Pokemon, can merge with water and become invisible to others. However, after evolution, it will have no fur and will be smooth like a fish in water.”

Eevee shivered and immediately shook its head; it didn’t want to become like that!

”This is Jolteon, capable of projecting powerful electric currents from its mouth. The stimulus makes its fur stand on end. The book says that because of the electric currents, Jolteon can become a bit neurotic and difficult to get along with.”

Eevee didn’t seem very interested in Jolteon.

”Then take a look at this Leafeon, a Grass Type Pokemon. Once evolved, it can use Synthesis to absorb nutrients and no longer needs to forage for food.”

Eevee’s eyes lit up, but thinking of delicious food, it still shook its head; it didn’t want to become like that.

Naoki smiled slightly and looked to the next one: ”This is Glaceon, an Ice Type Pokemon, with a cold body capable of freezing opponents with ice and snow.”

”Speaking of which, we also have a Glaceon at home. You’ve probably met it before, right?” Naoki asked.

Eevee immediately thought of that cold-looking, hard-to-approach Glaceon: ”Vee...”

Naoki saw Eevee’s thoughts, ”Actually, it’s a very kind Eevee at heart, it just doesn’t show it. It lives in the little Ice House out back.”

At this point, Naoki suddenly had a flash of insight, looking up to meet the eyes of the Glaceon secretly observing from the corner.

Glaceon looked flustered and quickly drew back its head.

However, Naoki was not ready to let it get away.

He got up and brought Glaceon over, letting it sit together with Eevee on his lap.

The two Eevees exchanged glances.

Little Eevee blinked and then greeted it warmly: ”Vee!”

Glaceon’s expression didn’t change much; it appeared cold, turning away from Eevee.

”Vee...” Eevee’s tone was very disappointed.

Hearing Eevee’s sad growl, Glaceon’s heart was moved, and it couldn’t help but think:

Would treating the little Eevee this way hurt its feelings? It looks so young... Being treated so coldly, it must feel sad, right?

Thinking of this, Glaceon hesitated and turned back, responding softly, ”Vee.”

Little Eevee’s eyes immediately sparkled with joy and eagerly nuzzled against Glaceon.

Being treated this way so suddenly, Glaceon was slightly taken aback.

Such an enthusiastic little Eevee, a bit like Alcremie... Looking at it this way, it wasn’t so annoying after all.

The interaction between the two Pokemon was observed by Naoki.

He introduced the little Eevee’s background to Glaceon: ”This Eevee survived last year’s forest fire. It lost its home and can only take refuge in the town.”

Glaceon knew of that fire; it had been involved at the time and had seen many Pokemon perish.

Thinking of this, Glaceon was deeply moved, looking at Eevee with a sympathetic expression, feeling this little guy was quite pitiful.

Little Eevee seemed unaware, tilting its head to look at the Glaceon in front of it, sensing it wasn’t disliked as much anymore, it immediately called out happily.

”Vee!”

Naoki petted both Eevee’s heads, smiling as he said, ”Alright, let’s continue watching!”

”Next, I’ll introduce you to Espeon.”

”Unlike the previous Eevee evolutions, Espeon can use Psychic in battles. The red gem on its forehead absorbs sunlight and converts it into spiritual power, but Espeon is not adept at fighting at night.”

Eevee and Glaceon looked down at the picture of their kin in the book.

They had never heard of Espeon before!

”The black one below, on the other hand, is the opposite of Espeon. Its name is Umbreon, an Eevee evolved at night capable of harnessing the power of Moonlight.”

”Vee...” Eevee murmured, it didn’t like the black fur and didn’t want to become like that.

Glaceon didn’t really feel much, as it had already evolved.

At this point, Eevee suddenly noticed the special Eevee below.

It patted the photo with its paw pad, asking, ”Vee Vee?”

Naoki glanced over and laughed, ”That’s Sylveon. It’s cute, right? There was even a fairy tale once written by humans based on Sylveon.”

Hearing this, both Eevee and Glaceon immediately became curious about this fairy tale.

”Vee?” Both Eeveelutions asked in unison.

Naoki raised an eyebrow, ”Do you want to hear it?”

”Vee!” They nodded in unison.
