Not Being a Trainer This Time

As an extraterrestrial visitor, Naoki can detach himself from all events and view them from a third-person perspective.

Arceus banished Giratina to the Reversed World, and the enraged Giratina kept causing trouble in any way possible.

This included, but was not limited to, using the Reversing Power to influence the Space-Time Gods, driving them into a frenzy, thus affecting the real world.

In the face of this situation, what did Arceus do?

He shook someone from another space-time, invoking them to come, bestowing them with an Arceus Phone, so they could resolve the space-time rift crisis.

But those things the troublemaker Giratina did, Arceus must have known about them…

So why didn’t He just directly deal with Giratina?

Just as Naoki was lost in thought, Giratina suddenly asked:

”Have you decided? If you want my help, it means you will team up with me. If that one finds out, you will have to face Him alongside me.”

”To you humans, that guy should be the Sinnoh Venerable who created the world, right? Do you have the guts to face God directly?”

Naoki was bewildered by Giratina: ”Wait, wait! I’m not trying to team up with you to destroy the world, so what if Arceus finds out?”

After all, Arceus didn’t care about the bad things Giratina did before.

Now, he just wants to create a one-of-a-kind flying giant tree, how could Arceus possibly summon someone like Rei from another space-time to stop him?

Giratina, however, didn’t care and roared angrily: ”If I help you, how do you plan to thank me?”

Naoki thought about the time Giratina made off with a few of his fish, and said: ”...catch a few more tuna for you?”

”No!” Giratina eagerly watched Naoki: ”I want you to team up with me to get revenge on Him!”

Naoki: ”...”

He originally wanted to just say goodbye to Giratina.

But on second thought, seeking revenge on Arceus might not be impossible.

Because in a few years, when Arceus, who has fallen asleep due to human greed, awakens, He will go after those humans to punish them.

This is the plot in the movie ”Arceus and the Jewel of Life.”

At that time, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina’s dragon trio will join forces to prevent Giratina from destroying the world.

If he takes that chance to secretly team up with Giratina to give Arceus a beating, wouldn’t he be fulfilling Giratina’s wish of ”getting revenge on Arceus”?

Moreover, at that time, Arceus will be missing some plates.

The five plates of Water, Grass, Thunder, Dragon, and Ground that form the Life Orb are in a missing state.

Dragon Type can be immune to Fairy Type, which means that moves of Water Type, Grass Type, Thunder Type, and Ground Type can harm Arceus.

Grass Type includes Calyrex, Gogoat, and Ogerpon, Electric Type includes Pawmot and Dragonite, Water Type can use Ogerpon’s water mask to fill in the gap.

Adding in the assistance of the Space-Time Dragon and Giratina, and restoring vitality with Life Sheep Milk and other fortunate delicacies, there might really be a chance, it’s just a matter of scale.

Of course, it’s not that they absolutely have to beat up Arceus; thinking about such a thing seems impossible, after all, Arceus is a level 100 top existence in this world.

They just need to put on a show for Giratina to see.

In popular terms, it’s like throwing a fixed match.

With this in mind, Naoki stayed, asking: ”How do you plan to get revenge on Him?”

Giratina hadn’t thought it through yet.

Naoki made the decision for him: ”Then it’s settled. I have a feeling that the opportunity for revenge on Arceus is coming soon, at most, in two years. Before that, you should prepare well and strengthen yourself!”

”Alright!” Giratina agreed readily.

Just two years, for it who has lived for millions of years in this world, it just needed a nap.

Naoki was speechless, then turned and left the Reversed World.

When he returned to the living room, Calyrex casually asked: ”Did you find a solution?”

”Umm, sort of?” Naoki was also a bit troubled, he explained in detail the events that had just occurred to Calyrex, in the end, he asked: ”Am I being too naive?”

After all, that’s the God who created the world.

Calyrex had never seen or heard of Arceus.

But to protect the World Tree and the pasture, it spoke up: ”A God who created the world? I wonder how He fares against the Darkest Day, I could give it a try.”

The Darkest Day seems to refer to Eternatus in the Galar Region.

Naoki said: ”Eternatus probably isn’t His match because He carries the Creation Plate; any attribute attack in this world cannot harm Him.”

Hearing this, Calyrex fell into deep thought.

A moment later, He finally spoke: ”Since this is the case, then we must prepare well.”

Naoki was slightly taken aback, prepare?

Calyrex cast His gaze outside: ”Now is the time, my power has long been restored to its peak, now I can bestow [King’s Power] on Pawmot.”

Just like the coronation ceremony He held for Zacian and Zamazenta in the Crown Shrine back in the day.

At that time, He infused King’s Power into the Sword and Shield.

The two Hundred Battle Heroes carrying Sword and Shield were able to transform into the King of Swords and the King of the Shield.

Hearing Calyrex’s words, Naoki was even more confused.

Calyrex is going to enchant Mjolnir for Pawmot?!

As if sensing Naoki’s inner shock at that moment, Calyrex explained:

”That child possesses a brave and pure heart, and with [King’s Power], it will become a true hero.”

”But before that, I must first put it through a test, and when it passes, it means it is qualified to possess the King’s Power.”

”Test?” Naoki asked incredulously.

Calyrex nodded slightly: ”Leave this to me; you don’t need to worry.”

Naoki had calmed down, ”How do you plan to do it?”

Calyrex briefly replied: ”I will use my power to create an Illusion Realm.”

Naoki understood in a flash, Calyrex is, after all, Psychic Type Pokemon, interfering with the mind, and creating illusions is indeed an easy task for Him.

”I understand,” Naoki sincerely said, ”Then I’ll leave it to you.”

Calyrex showed a loving smile, floated off the couch, out of the living room, and into the pasture.

Naoki followed, then called over Pawmot, who was playing with Glaceon and the others.

Upon hearing Naoki’s voice, Pawmot immediately ran over: ”Pawmo?”

Naoki asked it seriously: ”Pawmot, do you want to become a true superhero?”

”Pawmo!” Pawmot unhesitatingly stood up and nodded.

”Then show Calyrex your courage and heart!” Naoki said.

Calyrex gently looked at Pawmot, and conveyed through Telepathy:

”You needn’t be nervous, next I will put you through a test; when you pass, I will grant you the King’s Power worthy of your courage.”

”Pawmo?” Pawmot seemed to understand and not understand at the same time.

It looked at Naoki, and Naoki gave it an encouraging nod.

Thus Pawmot’s eyes began to fill with fighting spirit: ”Pawmo!”

Calyrex nodded in satisfaction: ”Then, the test begins!”
