Not Being a Trainer This Time

As Calyrex’s words fell, a flood of seemingly tangible psychic power erupted from its being.

The dazzling light instantly engulfed the Pawmot standing on the grass.

The next second, Pawmot was surrounded by a faint blue aura. It closed its eyes, and its body slowly began to levitate.

Its calm demeanor made it appear as if it were asleep.

Watching this scene, Naoki realized that the illusion realm trial of Calyrex had officially begun.

”I wonder what kind of experiences Pawmot will encounter...” Naoki pondered to himself.

But that was Pawmot’s trial, one he couldn’t see or participate in, so he could only wait quietly outside.

Naoki was unsure what the King’s Power entailed.

But he knew that this power could transform Zacian and Zamazenta, both Hundred Battle Heroes, into the invincible King of Sword and Shield.

Their species strength would even rise from the original 670 to 720.

Bear in mind, even the avatars of Arceus possess a species strength of only 720.

Clearly, this power represents an extraordinary enhancement for Pokemon.

With the Thunder God effect of the special dish [Lightning Steamed Bun], combined with Calyrex’s [King’s Power], just how far could Pawmot break through...

A Quasi-God? A Mythical Beast? Or reach the realm of Legendary Pokemon?

An excited glint flashed in Naoki’s eyes. Together with Calyrex, they were creating a deity!

The trees were lush, the soil fertile, and the verdant canopy blocked out the sky and sun. Green moss climbed the trunks deep within the forest, mingling with the dense undergrowth to form a vibrant woodland.

The air was filled with the earthy scent of soil, sunlight filtering through the leaves and casting a distinct beam upon a rock.

A small Pawmi lying on the rock slowly opened its eyes.

Once it saw the surroundings clearly, a look of confusion and bewilderment appeared on Pawmi’s face.

”Bamo?”

Wasn’t this where it used to live?

Hmm? Why say used to?

Its head was a muddle. Pawmi raised its head to gaze at the sky, feeling as though it had had a very, very long dream.

In the dream, a Bird-type Pokemon with a big beak carried it far, far away, eventually bringing it to a human’s ranch, where it was taken in.

The human helped it train, taught it to fly, and even crafted a small hammer for it.

Recalling this, Pawmi rubbed the electrical pouch on its face with the paw pad, wanting to unleash a powerful electric current like in the dream.

”Bamo——”

”Sizzle...”

After much rubbing, a weak electric current emerged from its paw.

So weak...

It really must have been a dream?

For some reason, Pawmi felt a twinge of disappointment.

”Bamo Bamo?”

At this moment, two familiar calls came from the distant tall grass.

Soon, two Normal Pawmots emerged from the rustling grass and looked toward their child.

”Bamo? Bamo!” (There you are? You scared us! Time to come back and eat!)

Pawmi hesitated, suddenly feeling tears welling up in its eyes, and called out, ”Bamo!” (Papa, Mama!)

Pawmot’s mother gazed lovingly at her child, ”Bamo～” (We’re here, let’s go home together～)

Pawmi nodded, jumping off the large rock, and followed its parents home.

The family lived beneath a withered tree.

A warm and dry hollow was dug out at the base of the trunk, with a passageway leading underground.

Pawmi remembered that its father and mother had painstakingly dug that burrow.

The burrow had two corridors inside, leading to the food storage room and the bedroom.

The food storage room was where they kept food; Pawmot’s parents stored plenty of Berries and grains there to get through the winter.

The bedroom was a more spacious burrow where the three of them snuggled together and slept every night.

That night, Pawmi slept soundly nestled in its parents’ arms.

The next morning, it bade farewell to its parents and went to play in the forest.

In this forest, there was a very tall towering tree, which some elder Pokemon in the forest claimed had been there for a really long time.

Pawmi liked climbing it, sitting at the top of the tall tree to gaze at the blue sky and white clouds, observing the world outside the forest.

Today, Pawmi visited once more, gazing at the world beyond the forest and wondering what it was like.

Suddenly, a Pokemon’s terrified scream sounded from below.

Accompanied by a piercing call, Pawmi quickly looked down to find the source of the sound.

It saw a diminutive Cubone frantically fleeing among the dense woods.

Chasing closely behind it was a frightening and fierce-looking Pokemon.

Pawmi recognized that Pokemon—it had heard its parents mention it countless times.

That was a Mandibuzz! A very bad Pokemon!

It flew circles in the sky every day, observing the ground. The moment it spotted weak prey, it would attack, grabbing its target with its claws to bring back to its bone nest.

This cruel Pokemon not only ate Pokemon but also fashioned nests out of the bones of its prey, decorating itself. Its nature was extremely violent, making it the notorious bully of the forest!
