Flutter Mane cried out in pain and fell to the ground in a sorry state.

One second, two seconds, three seconds...

Flutter Mane remained unable to get up, losing the battle against Aerodactyl.

Nemona stepped forward to check on Flutter Mane’s condition, then announced, ”Flutter Mane is unable to battle! The victory goes to Aerodactyl in this matchup!”

Naoki returned Flutter Mane to the Poke Ball for rest, then admired, ”So this is your true strength, Lance!”

Lance maintained his calm and composed demeanor: ”The opponent is such a formidable Trainer, if I don’t take it seriously, I’ll be thrashed through the ranks!”

Naoki: ”...” Truth be told, the Pokemon he brought along this time matchup very well against Lance’s Pokemon in terms of type.

Ogerpon, Pawmot, Dragonite, Koraidon, Glaceon, Alcremie...

And Dragonite’s Pokemon are all Flying and Dragon Types.

If he remembered correctly, during the Master Tournament on his journey, Lance was also knocked out by Diantha’s Mega Gardevoir due to type matchups.

However, the battle was not over yet.

Round four, Pawmot vs. Aerodactyl.

After the previous battles, Lance had a preliminary understanding of this unfamiliar Pokemon, Pawmot.

This time, he didn’t let Aerodactyl engage Pawmot head-on, but instead used his speed advantage to adopt a guerilla strategy.

”Use Agility! Just like that, keep your distance with speed, then seize the moment to counter with Ancient Power!” Lance calmly commanded.

Aerodactyl was quite lucky; during the two uses of Ancient Power, it triggered a stat boost twice, coupled with the speed increase from Agility.

This made Aerodactyl’s flying speed extraordinarily fast now.

Pawmot’s Electro Ball and Thunder Shock couldn’t hit the opponent at all, with all attacks missing Aerodactyl.

On the field, the two Pokemon chased each other relentlessly, with their stamina gradually depleting.

The scene fell into a stalemate for the moment.

Lance was intensely focused on the situation on the field, ready to order Aerodactyl to use Ancient Power for an attack the moment Pawmot revealed a flaw.

Fortunately, Pawmot’s reactions were quick, swiftly increasing its flying speed to dodge the boulders hurled at it.

It seemed Lance had found a method to counter Pawmot! Watching this unfold, Naoki couldn’t help but curl his lips into a smile.

However, they weren’t entirely without a countermeasure.

”Pawmot!” Naoki shouted aloud, ”Mjolnir!”

Pawmot had not used this move before, but upon hearing Naoki, it instantly understood.

”Pawmot—!”

Pawmot’s slightly tired eyes immediately filled with fighting spirit as it looked up at the Aerodactyl circling in mid-air.

”A new move?” Lance’s expression turned serious, warning, ”Stay alert!”

Aerodactyl immediately focused its attention.

At the same time, a strong current erupted from Pawmot’s body.

In this moment, all of its Electric Type Energy began to surge madly into the small silver hammer.

A sizzling crackling sound resonated in the air, and in an instant, the metallic hammer shone brightly with sparks.

”What’s that...”

The onlooking Trainers immediately shifted their gaze to the hammer.

In the next second, they saw Pawmot hurl the hammer with all its might.

The hammer, enveloped in terrifying currents, spun rapidly towards Aerodactyl.

Aerodactyl’s attention had been fixed on Pawmot. As soon as it saw movement, Aerodactyl promptly reacted.

It flashed its body, evading the attack in time.

Upon witnessing this scene, the onlookers couldn’t help but feel their hearts in their throats.

The move missed, and the use failed!

Looking at Pawmot, exhausted and panting from using the move, Aerodactyl relaxed its nerves slightly.

Lance also breathed a sigh of relief, observing this scene.

He caught a glimpse of Naoki on the opposite side but didn’t see any disappointment on his face; rather, he appeared full of anticipation, as if expecting something.

Lance: ”?”

Something was wrong!

Suddenly, he heard Naoki shout, ”Now! Retrieve it!”

”Pawmot...” Pawmot’s previously tightly clenched little pink fist suddenly opened, reaching forward.

The audience was puzzled, not knowing what happened yet.

However, in the next moment, someone noticed an unbelievable scene.

”W-what’s happening?! That hammer is flying back on its own!?”

The other Trainers also cast their gaze in that direction.

They saw the hammer that Pawmot had thrown far away returning at an incredibly fast speed!

Seeing this, Aerodactyl was greatly shocked, instinctively wanting to dodge.

However, this unexpected move struck before it could react, and the returning hammer smashed into its back with a thud.

Aerodactyl was hit instantly, its large body falling forward and then crashing to the ground, losing its ability to battle.

Lance stared blankly at this scene.

”L-lost...”

”What move was that just now?”

”No, I want to know how Pawmot managed to do that! Not only flying but also using a weapon, imbuing Electric Type Energy into the hammer!”
