Chapter 530: Chapter 305: Special Potato Stew, Leon Is Rushing Over on Horseback

Ordinary and plain is the truth, at this moment, Naoki completely agreed with Larry’s point of view.

However, just as he squatted down to dig out the next potato, he suddenly noticed something different about this potato.

In an instant, Naoki determined that this potato had mutated!

[Good Potato: A special ingredient, a crop mutated after being nurtured by Gogoat’s Grass Energy. Dishes made from it will have the ”Golden Right Hand” effect.]

”Golden Right Hand?” Naoki muttered as he stared at the bunch of potatoes in his hand, ”What is this?”

After a brief moment of thought, Naoki had a plan in mind.

Decided! He would use these potatoes to make a ”Potato Stew” for lunch today!

Once decided, Naoki finished harvesting the potatoes from the field, and as time went by, it was already noon.

He washed his hands, took the bunch of potatoes to the kitchen, and grabbed some meat he had just bought from Porto Marinada Town yesterday from the fridge.

He chopped the meat and potatoes into chunks, then added various spices and put them into a large pot to stew.

As time ticked by, the bubbling sound inside the pot grew, and Naoki lifted the lid, releasing a rich aroma of meat.

The thick broth was bubbling continuously, with the soft and flavorful potato chunks rolling inside. Naoki used a spoon to serve a small bowl of soup, a piece of potato, and a piece of meat.

After drinking, he felt the soup was simply a delicacy of the human world, perfectly blending the rich fragrance of potatoes with the aroma of meat.

The slow-cooked, tender potatoes and meat melted in the mouth, needing no vigorous chewing, making people want more after one bite.

Simply perfect! His culinary skills had improved again over the years!

The aroma of the Potato Stew drifted out of the window into the pasture, and it wasn’t long before a few meat-loving Pokemon, who were playing outside, were drawn in by the scent.

”Graaargh!”

”Grraawl?”

”Howl oww?”

Koraidon, Cyclizar, Dragonite, working Dragonites, and several Dragonairs all flew over, gulping down their saliva while eagerly watching Naoki.

Seeing this, Naoki couldn’t help but laugh and said, ”Just wait a moment!”

He knew it, which is why he made a big pot.

There were a lot of Pokemon in the pasture, and the pots at his home were specially customized giant stew pots that could meet all the Pokemon’s needs at once.

Paired with Poffins, sandwiches, and biscuits, he ensured every Pokemon could eat to its heart’s content.

The Indeedee Sibling brought over the Pokemon bowls specially used for feeding each Pokemon.

Naoki filled each bowl with soup and then placed them on the table for the Pokemon to drink.

After finishing everything, he finally had time to check the effect of the Potato Stew.

[Potato Stew (S): A delicious dish made by stewing freshly harvested Good Potato and meat on high heat. Drinking it fills one with warmth, making it a popular dish in cold regions.

Cooking Effect: Golden Right Hand, ”Good Pokemon, bad guys got chased away!”, after consuming, possesses the Golden Right Hand ability. When you place your right hand on the forehead of a frenzied and angry Pokemon and say this phrase, it can calm their emotions.

Note: Only humans can activate this ability.

Rating: A delectable Potato Stew, the best choice for cold winter days, highly recommended.]

Naoki: ”???”

Looking at the effect of this bowl of Potato Stew, Naoki was a bit dumbfounded.

What about Nangong Wenya?

This ability is so awkward, right?

Not only do you have to put your hand on a Pokemon’s forehead, but also make an adult say such embarrassing words...

For a moment, Naoki didn’t know what to say.

However, from a certain perspective, this ability paired with Translation Nuts Cake can even compare to the Triumphant Light granted to humans by Arceus.

In some situations, its utility even surpasses the Triumphant Light.

But one thing it can’t compare with is that this ability requires physical contact with the target Pokemon.

Naoki couldn’t help but think about the scene in the movie ”Arceus and the Jewel of Life” where the angry Arceus wanted to punish humans.

Would this Golden Right Hand work on Arceus?

Naoki didn’t know, but in that situation, he probably couldn’t even get close to Arceus.

If it doesn’t work on Arceus, how about Giratina?

Naoki thought of his good neighbor.

So he gulped down the bowl of Potato Stew along with the meat and soup and then took some Poffins made for the Dragonites to visit that friendly neighbor.

When he reached the central lake of the pasture, a purple vortex slowly appeared there.

Naoki walked in and arrived at the Reversed World where Giratina resided.

As expected, just as he anticipated, Giratina was enjoying sun and the fragrance of flowers in that flower field.

When Naoki reached Flower Island, Giratina opened a slit of its eyes and gave him a glance.

Naoki opened the picnic basket, spread the picnic cloth on the ”flower cake” that had been flattened by the bad dragon, and then poured the Poffins on it.

Giratina snorted two breaths through its nose and began to eat the offerings in front of it without ceremony.
