Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 510: Chapter 294: Longevity (Part 2)

The nearby Calyrex, having witnessed everything, also translated the Pokémon’s words for him with a smile:

”They said [We also want Naoki to live longer, so Naoki, come train with us!]”

Just like Naoki wanted to be with them forever, they also wished for Naoki to live a long life, always staying together.

Naoki: ”...”

So, did he dig a pit for himself?

Training is not just about strengthening the body, it also requires proper nutrition.

Naoki used Life Sheep Milk from the Gogoats to prepare various nutritious meals for the Pokémon.

The effects of Life Sheep Milk rival the Holy Ash of Ho-oh.

In essence, the Pawmots were eating something equivalent to Holy Ash.

Nourished by these supplements, it took only a week for all the Pokémon on the ranch to undergo transformations.

This afternoon, Naoki called everyone playing around the ranch over to check on their current status.

Butterfree looked spirited and energetic, its appearance becoming even more beautiful, with those large white wings featuring black veins becoming more resilient, glittering brightly under the sunlight.

Naoki observed carefully and then noted Butterfree’s condition in his notebook.

[Butterfree, which has been consuming Life Sheep Milk long-term, seems to have undergone secondary development. Its wings are not as fragile as they appear; they are resilient enough to support it in creating more powerful storms.]

After completing the records, Naoki moved before Cyclizar for examination.

”Gah-ow~”

Cyclizar cooperatively stretched its arms and lifted its legs.

”Hmm, Cyclizar’s physique has clearly become more robust, with a noticeable increase in muscle, and it seems to have grown taller. If we were in a game, it would surely be a Cyclizar wearing a Big Guy Badge.”

Naoki noted these changes in his notebook.

Then, he moved before Koraidon for a check.

Comparatively, Koraidon’s changes were not so apparent, perhaps because its power was already at a top-tier level?

Those all-red muscles might make the neighboring Machamp envious.

”Dragonite...” Naoki approached Dragonite, reaching out to poke at its scales.

Hmm, the texture has become harder. In terms of enduring damage, there should be significant enhancement.

”Just right, I can discuss in detail the Storm Trial and Thunder Trial with Dragonite and Pawmot later. Judging by the time, Paldea Academy’s students should arrive here soon.”

Because Rika told him earlier that the Paldea League planned to broadcast the follow-up of the forest fire that shocked the region to the people living in this land today.

By then, surely many Trainers lured by Calyrex would come, and he must make preparations in advance.

At this moment, the Miltanks beside him were already restless.

Naoki turned to look.

The Miltanks also looked at him, brimming with spirit and shouted, ”Moo!”

Naoki: ”...Go! Remember to take care and not bump into other Pokémon!”

”Moo!” The three Miltanks stretched out their strong arms and then transformed into round balls, rolling excitedly across the grass.

Watching this scene, Naoki wrote in his notebook:

”After drinking Life Sheep Milk, the Miltanks seem to have overflowed energy. They’re always full of vitality, exercising by rolling around.”

This situation is somewhat like what happened previously when Skiddo consumed lots of Grassy Seed and disco-danced on the Grassy Terrain to expend energy.

Only, the Miltanks’ method is much straightforward.

Roll, roll, continuously roll without stopping.

If given more time, Naoki thinks they might even surpass Whitney’s Miltank.

He suddenly remembered Whitney’s Miltank in games that often troubled players.

Then the question arises, could he replicate it in the ranch?

This matter depends on the Miltanks’ proficiency with Rollout in the future.

While formulating the training plan for Miltanks in his mind, Naoki checked the changes on other Pokémon.

Now in the ranch, excluding Teddiursa and Mew on travel outside, there are thirty Pokémon in total residing in the ranch.

Included are three Gogoats, three Miltanks, five Naclstacks, and three Combee.

The rest are Cyclizar and Koraidon, Alcremie and Dolliv, Glaceon and Pawmot, Indeedee Sibling, Butterfree, Dragonite, and Diglett.

There are also Calyrex and its two steeds, along with its official teawares Sinistea and Polteageist.

Besides, there are some Dragonite and Dragonair who came from Dragonite Island to work but won’t reside in the ranch, and the Gimmighoul hiding in the tavern not coming out.

This number, when calculated carefully, is quite impressive, as most people cannot remember each Pokémon’s moves and preferences.

Luckily, Naoki prepared an observation notebook long ago, dedicating it to recording the moves, dietary preferences, and physical conditions of Pokémon in the ranch.

By the time all Pokémon’s information was fully recorded, it was already evening.
