Chapter 393: Chapter 246: Paldea Is My Home, but I Will Never Forget Galar (4k)

Upon hearing these words, Calyrex was slightly taken aback.

”I...”

For a king, there is only one situation where one leaves one’s homeland, and that is when the kingdom is destroyed, and one becomes a captive.

As for Calyrex, this Galar Region is His domain.

Here lie His memories and His people.

Calyrex hesitated.

Naoki quietly waited by His side for a response.

Calyrex gazed at the young devotee before Him, remembering how He had been forgotten by the world, thereby losing power and falling into slumber.

Then, in His mind, He envisioned His young devotee striving to spread His name in that distant land.

Calyrex’s eyes were filled with confusion, uncertain of how to make a decision.

After a long moment of contemplation, He finally responded, ”I need to think carefully.”

The fact that Calyrex did not outright refuse meant there was hope!

Naoki felt relieved, smiled, and said:

”Alright, the people and Pokemon of the Paldea Region have all told me that it would be great if they could meet you; they’re all very grateful to you.”

Calyrex was moved, ”I understand their sentiments. Naoki, please give Me some time.”

”Okay.” With his goal achieved, Naoki changed the topic: ”The radish seeds have all been planted; next, we rely on you.”

Upon hearing this, Calyrex lightly nodded before drifting over to the farmland located in the Snowy Valley.

”Leave it to Me! See, I shall show you My great power!”

As His words settled, a deep blue radiance began to shine from Calyrex.

Soon, the freshly tilled farmland seemed to resonate with Him, bursting forth with a blue, wave-like energy ripple.

Specks of light emerged from the ground, drifting towards the sky.

The radish seeds buried in the earth sprouted at a speed visible to the naked eye.

In the blink of an eye, the field was brimming with white radishes.

Naoki looked down, and details about these white radishes surfaced in his mind.

[White Radish: Rare ingredient, the favored crop of The King of Bountiful Harvests’ beloved horse, grown in snow-covered fields.]

Beside him, Calyrex gazed delightedly at the white radishes, His eyes brimming with gratitude:

”Thanks to you! Without the faith you provided, My previous power might have only been able to grow a single radish!”

”Now, with so many white radishes, My beloved horse is sure to be attracted!”

”Alright, child, let us wait here for a while!” Calyrex turned and said.

Naoki had no objections, and together with Calyrex, he looked into the distance, awaiting the appearance of Glastrier.

During this time, Naoki chatted with Calyrex about the Reins of Unity.

Upon hearing this, Calyrex contemplated and said, ”The Reins of Unity that can strengthen My power... With it, I could easily command My horse.”

”However, over the years, humans have forgotten their faith in Me and no longer offer the Reins of Unity.”

Naoki recalled something, then turned his gaze to the circle of green petals around his neck.

Calyrex noticed his gaze, slightly confused: ”Why do you look at Me like that?”

Naoki shook his head and replied, ”From the human books I read, to create the Reins of Unity, the petals of the Radiant Flower and manes from two horses are required.”

Upon hearing this, Calyrex paused and then fell into contemplation and remembrance: ”What? Flower... Flower... I see... It appears so!”

Soon, Calyrex seemed to realize something and said with enlightenment: ”I understand now, I thought humans no longer offered the Reins of Unity because they forgot their faith in Me.”

”As it turns out, it’s because I didn’t provide the necessary materials! It seems I’ve misunderstood humans for a long time!”

”However, to make the Radiant Flower bloom, vast energy must be consumed, and as My power weakened, it caused Me to be unable to make it bloom for centuries.”

”I’ve just recalled some things, thank you very much, Naoki. Next, I shall attempt to make the Radiant Flower bloom once more in this long-separated era!”

After speaking, Calyrex’s expression suddenly became majestic.

The enormous Crown atop His head erupted with a dazzling blue radiance.

That light poured into the bud on His neck, and the next moment, a beautiful flower as deep and blue as the ocean blossomed forth.

The Radiant Flower slowly floated down from Calyrex’s body and settled in front of Naoki.

Naoki reached out, and the Radiant Flower, emitting a dreamy glow, gently landed in his hand, resting quietly.

Calyrex: ”I must ask you to create the Reins of Unity for Me! The descendants of the reins-making tribe should still be in the village.”

Naoki nodded; since he was here, he would certainly help to the end.

For his attitude, Calyrex felt a bit apologetic: ”I am deeply sorry, unconsciously I have already asked so many things of you!”

Naoki grinned: ”It’s nothing.”

Koraidon beside them also nodded his big head joyfully: ”Argh-ki—” (No problem—)

Calyrex wanted to say something more.

Just then, a sudden neighing sound came from afar.

Naoki quickly turned his head and saw a Pokemon completely white in body, with an ice armor covering its face, and four strong and sturdy legs, galloping from the distance upon a chill air.
