Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 359: Chapter 232: Paradise, Book of Scarlet and Violet, Attempting to Tame? (2)

”I lost consciousness and fell into a coma. Strangely, during the coma, I vaguely felt that I was having a conversation with someone unknown, and in an unconscious state, I wrote down a large number of notes.”

”Later, the comatose me was discovered and rescued by other Observation Team members. This expedition ended embarrassingly, and we planned to share our findings with the world.”

”If you want to know more, keep reading!”

Filled with curiosity, Naoki turned to the next page.

There, he saw the sketch of Scream Tail.

Below the drawing was the record observed by Heath.

”This is a mysterious creature named Scream Tail. Although its appearance is cute, its temperament is extremely aggressive. According to the investigation by the observational personnel, as soon as anyone approaches this mysterious creature, it will immediately initiate an attack.”

Continuing to flip through, Naoki saw the sketches of other Paradox Pokemon such as Koraidon, Miraidon, Great Tusk, Brute Bonnet, Roaring Moon, Walking Wake, and Iron Valiant.

Notably, he noticed Heath’s special mark on the page about Roaring Moon.

”Judging by the behavioral patterns of this creature, it’s speculated that its ferocious nature surpasses even that of Salamence. Even if encountered accidentally, it’s crucial to avoid contact.”

It was evident that Heath’s Observation Team suffered significant losses when facing Roaring Moon.

”Aga hiss?”

Seeing Naoki engrossed in the book, Koraidon couldn’t resist bringing its large head closer to read with him.

Naoki looked at Koraidon and then turned to the page documenting Koraidon.

”This mysterious creature’s appearance is very similar to Cyclizar, but its temperament is even more resilient and fierce.”

”The first time we saw it, it cracked the ground below with its fist. Such terrifying power—it surpasses all the dangerous creatures the Observation Team has encountered before!”

”We thought this expedition would end and the Observation Team would be wiped out, but this mysterious creature didn’t attack us.”

”Undoubtedly, it is wary of humans, yet its curiosity seems to be very strong. After observing us for some time, it even actively came to frolic.”

”Such close interaction allowed us to further understand this mysterious creature. It occupies a top position in this area’s ecosystem, perhaps because it is confident in its strength, allowing it to not immediately attack the non-threatening Observation Team.”

”This is the confidence of an absolute strong creature. In the area it inhabits, there are almost no signs of other predators.”

”Moreover, its temperament is very changeable, and like Cyclizar, it can transform into multiple forms.”

”During the observation of this mysterious creature, we saw it use its strong legs to push off the ground, jumping over 20 meters high, then spread its wings to crash into the ground.”

”Due to this ecological habit, the Observation Team named it King of Wings.”

”King of Wings,” Naoki pushed Koraidon’s large head away and silently pondered the content of the book.

He remembered that the Book of Scarlet and Violet sold on the market was incomplete. Besides being edited, some crucial parts had been obscured with ink marks.

From his perspective, Heath’s written Book of Scarlet and Violet is an invaluable research material for the Paldea Region.

Unfortunately, because the content is too bizarre, these stories ended up being treated as urban legends, and the Book of Scarlet and Violet gradually found its way into the second-hand book market.

But there’s another matter that’s quite concerning.

It’s well-known that Heath entered the Giant Pit 200 years ago, and from his Book of Scarlet and Violet, Paradox Pokemon were already emerging within the Paldea Giant Pit at that time.

Yet, Professor Sada and Professor Turo claimed these Paradox Pokemon were summoned by them using the Time Machine.

”Could it be that Professor Sada’s summoning of Paradox Pokemon via the Time Machine affected time previously?” Naoki couldn’t help but speculate wildly.

But isn’t this too paradoxical?

Or does the Paldea Giant Pit connect to two special worlds, allowing those Paradox Pokemon to come here because of Tera Energy even without the Time Machine?

Naoki’s head hurt from thinking and eventually he lay down flat in frustration.

At this moment, Dragonite’s stomach suddenly emitted a growling sound.

Naoki immediately sat up and looked at it.

Dragonite looked innocent, ”Roar...”

”Sigh!” Naoki sighed, stood up, and said, ”Hang on, I’ll go prepare food for you all!”

”Roar!” Dragonite immediately became joyous.

Naoki took out a bunch of ingredients from his travel backpack. He planned to make fried eggs and fried steaks for lunch today, alongside a few Berries and bottles of MooMoo Milk, forming a nutritious and rich meal.

Heating the oil in the pan, once the oil was hot, he placed tender, firm steaks into the pan. Soon, the aroma of the steaks wafted around.

The oil turned golden brown and fragrant, with sizzling juices dancing on the steaks, making them look plump and juicy. With a bite, the juices would burst in the mouth, continuously stimulating the taste buds.

Once it was almost ready, Naoki finally took out the Poke Ball containing Scream Tail.

Being an ancient primitive Pokemon, Scream Tail is naturally unable to interact with humans like normal Pokemon.
