Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

”Didn’t he claim to have the ability to destroy stars? Shouldn’t he be able to ignore a star cannon barrage?”

”Claiming is one thing, whether he can actually destroy a star is another... Of course, I believe he does indeed possess the ability to destroy stars, but as you know, all of our races present here have the power to destroy stars. Do we directly destroy them? No. We merely use powerful weapons to ignite the entire star. Since that Planet Guardian God has conceptual abilities, I suspect he might also have the power to ignite stars, rather than directly destroy them in one go.”

A group of Steward Planet leaders were discussing.

They still hadn’t figured out the true strength of that Planet Guardian God, and now hearing that Balabamo had sent a star cannon to the Spiritual Race, they were all somewhat ”optimistic,” believing that the Spiritual Race might really reverse the situation, and perhaps even ”kill the god.”

Logically, they had decided not to send troops to assist the Spiritual Race, so this battle should have little to do with them. Why, then, were they so concerned?

The reason is very simple. As the most powerful group of civilized races in the Orion Arm, they had always been the ”masters” of the Orion Arm and naturally did not want a true deity to rise above them.

Today, that Planet Guardian God could destroy the star system where the Spiritual Race’s Mother Star is located.

Tomorrow, if they’re not careful, couldn’t he also destroy the star systems of their mother planets in one fell swoop?

Therefore, whether it be Balabamo or other Steward Planet leaders, they all hoped the Spiritual Race could use the star cannon to eliminate this perceived enormous potential threat.

Furthermore, Balabamo sending the star cannon to the Spiritual Race wasn’t just about hoping the Spiritual Race could destroy that Planet Guardian God. It was also to gauge his true strength through the star cannon barrage and devise countermeasures to prevent similar situations from occurring again.

The discussion echoed throughout the meeting room.

About ten minutes later.

Balabamo gently tapped the metal conference table to signal everyone to quiet down. Only then did more than a hundred Steward Planet leaders stop their debate.

Balabamo glanced around, looking at the projection of each leader, and said unhurriedly, ”From the current perspective, the Planet Guardian God of Earth should be the most powerful single combat force we’ve seen in the cosmos, right?”

”Yes.”

”His power is terrifying.”

”I think even the legendary iron-based life forms couldn’t compare to him.”

Everyone agreed with Balabamo’s view.

Seeing everyone’s agreement, Balabamo said something that made all present suddenly wake up: ”If... hmm, I’m saying if, the star cannon can’t harm that Planet Guardian God, and he indeed shows the mighty power to effortlessly destroy a star system, reducing the Spiritual Race’s Mother Star system to rubble, then how should we coexist with him and that Earth civilization?”

It was a wake-up call!

Yes, if that Planet Guardian God indeed effortlessly destroyed the star system where the Spiritual Race’s Mother Star is located, it would mean he could just as easily wipe out the star systems of their mother planets. At that time, how should they coexist with that Planet Guardian God?

Opposition might only lead them to the same fate as the Spiritual Race.

Peaceful coexistence is possible, but how should they go about it?

At this thought, the leader of Noah Star, who had been silent, spoke slowly: ”Balabamo, I think we need to make contact with Earth’s civilization, showing enough goodwill. If that Planet Guardian God truly destroys the Spiritual Energy Star system, we won’t be implicated. But if he doesn’t destroy the star system and shows significant strength, we could engage in a series of collaborations. As for the possibility of him being killed by the star cannon... the Spiritual Race will handle the aftermath, which has nothing to do with us. I trust everyone understands what I mean?”

Everyone naturally understood that if that Planet Guardian God failed to destroy the Spiritual Energy Star system and displayed far less power than expected, the Spiritual Race might attack Earth again, likely destroying Earth’s civilization. As for that Planet Guardian God, he most probably wouldn’t be killed but captured for research.

The Steward Planet leaders understood each other.

The leader of Kala Star immediately stated, ”Balabamo’s proposal is excellent; we indeed should kindly approach Earth’s civilization. Do you support this?”

The leader of Pizzas Star nodded, ”Support.”

The leader of Kree Star followed, ”I also support this proposal.”

”Support.”

”Engage with Earth’s civilization.”

”Prepare for both outcomes.”

The leaders of numerous Steward Planets quickly passed the ”fence-sitting” decision through a vote.

...

Amidst the vast starry sky.

A great, intangible ”will” was rapidly traversing.

In one second, it crossed a distance of thirty light-years.

It was as if distance posed no problem to it.

Indeed, this great, intangible ”will” was Lu Li’s ”true form.”

He was rushing towards the Spiritual Planet, preparing to thoroughly annihilate the Spiritual Race.

In less than two seconds, he had arrived within the Spiritual Energy Star system.

At this time, Lu Li manifested a physical form, transforming into a stream of light, flying at the speed of light towards the Spiritual Planet.

In fact, he could have appeared on the planet where the Spiritual Race resided in an instant.

The reason why Lu Li was ”leisurely” on his way was entirely because the deadline he had given the Spiritual Race had not yet arrived.

Suddenly, he glanced in two different directions.

Those two directions were where the Spiritual Race and the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance Headquarters were located.

He sensed everything happening in both places.

One was the globally resented Spiritual Energy Star.

The other was the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance, preparing to be fence-sitters.

”Neither seems to have understood how truly powerful I am.”

Lu Li chuckled silently.

Could a star cannon actually kill him?

Could a mere tens of billions of Spiritual Race individuals united resist his slaughter?

He shook his head, feeling somewhat underestimated.

Never mind, once the time comes, they’ll understand the extent of his true power!
