Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Lu Li softly mumbled, ”That’s about it.”

If it were before, upon seeing online discussions questioning the authenticity of him saving the world, he might have felt somewhat angry.

But now, Lu Li wouldn’t get angry; he doesn’t even feel anything.

At his current level, it really doesn’t matter whether people believe him or not.

What Lu Li pursues is understanding the essence of the world and the true meaning of life.

How could such a vast and ambitious goal be understood by ordinary people?

The reason he hasn’t acted immediately is indeed as Shen Xia analyzed, to let people see the truth, to know that he truly saved the world, and so that they won’t question him in the future.

This way, his relatives and friends will also be loved globally, living happily and fulfilling lives because of him for the rest of their lives.

So, Lu Li will not make a move until people see the truth clearly.

...

Online, netizens were thrown into chaos upon learning that aliens have indeed invaded Earth.

”Ancestral Gods, save us!”

”Fack, there’s a gigantic Cosmic Battleship above New York, we’re doomed.”

”Don’t panic, quickly ask the Ancestral Gods to take action.”

”Right, as long as the Ancestral Gods make a move, the aliens are nothing to worry about.”

Many netizens suddenly realized and immediately thought of the Ancestral Race.

Just recently, these same people were questioning the gamma-ray burst and the authenticity of Lu Li’s previous world-saving act, reverting the title ”Ancestral Gods” back to ”Ancestral Race” as they had originally.

Now, knowing the alien invasion of Earth, they panic-stricken, reverted to the respectful title ”Ancestral Gods,” showing how much they dread death.

Fear of death is one thing.

On the other hand, these netizens, despite their extreme panic, still have significant doubts about the earlier gamma-ray burst and Lu Li’s world-saving feat.

Moreover, some netizens in countries not yet invaded by the Cosmic Battleship even suspected this alien invasion was Lu Li’s self-directed act to scare people.

As a result, many netizens not currently feeling the threat were still making ”sarcastic comments” online.

”Everyone, don’t be afraid!”

”These Cosmic Battleships might not actually attack you.”

”Yes, maybe it’s the Ancestral Race intentionally scaring us, if you can withstand it, the plot will surely fall apart.”

”I even doubt whether those enormous Cosmic Battleships in your photos and videos really exist. How could aircrafts be so gigantic? It defies logic, and with their massive size, they should be too heavy to resist gravitational pull and fall. I have an instinct that these Cosmic Battleships are actually holographic projections, appearing incredibly real but actually nonexistent.”

”Right, you must not lose your cool, the Ancestral Race is intimidating people to rule the world.”

As the saying goes, it’s better for the ’fellow’ to die than for oneself. These netizens making sarcastic comments fully believe because the sword isn’t hanging over their heads.

Of course, some ill-willed people wished for those in the Cosmic Battleship-invaded areas to be cannon fodder, testing the alien weapons’ strength to see if human technology could withstand them.

Because of these people, some perplexing remarks caused many overwhelmed netizens to involuntarily cast some doubts.

They pondered whether these so-called Cosmic Battleships, as some say, were indeed special ”projections” created by the Ancestral Race specifically to frighten the world?

...

Initially, everyone was unsure if the Cosmic Battleships in the sky were real.

After all, these Battleships had been invading Earth for about ten minutes with no attacks or damage to Earth.

Naturally, people began to doubt.

Just as these doubts arose among some, a frightening scene unfurled.

A giant cannon suddenly rose from the back of one of the attack ships hovering over Brisbane, Australia.

This cannon had a caliber of about twenty kilometers and a length of an astonishing one hundred kilometers.

When this enormous, gray-brown cannon rose to the top-back of the ship, it immediately targeted Brisbane, the port city below.

Earthlings were clueless about this giant cannon’s purpose, but every Spiritual Race knew what it was.

This wasn’t merely a cannon; it was one of the Spiritual Race’s most powerful weapons—a gigantic cannon.

When filled with energy, a single shot could annihilate a minor planet.

For a planet like Earth, three to five shots would suffice.

The Spiritual Race, having used up most of its energy from the previous gamma-ray burst shot, didn’t have the giant cannon fully charged this time.

For example, the giant cannon aboard this attack ship only had a one percent energy charge.

But even this one percent was enough to unleash a million square kilometers of destruction with the giant cannon!

Yes, this gigantic cannon, although now targeting Brisbane, was actually prepping to destroy the entire island of Australia.

Australia’s total area is 7.69 million square kilometers, and though the giant cannon’s one percent charge seems only capable of demolishing one million square kilometers, insufficient for total annihilation, this isn’t the case.

The giant cannon’s million-kilometer devastation accounts for direct destruction, but excludes subsequent tectonic activity triggered by the blasting, among others.

Recall the Tsar Bomba’s fireball diameter was merely 4.6 kilometers, but afterward, it not only destroyed buildings within fifty kilometers, but also shattered glass in Finland five hundred kilometers away, and even Old Ugly detected a seismic event of 5.6 magnitude from thousands of miles away.

The most terrifying was the Tsar Bomba causing a slight shift in tectonic plates.

If the Tsar Bomba could create such immense power, imagine a weapon capable of instant million-square-kilometers destruction—its blast would set off a sea tumult, sinking all of Australia beneath endless ocean waves.

One shot!

Just one shot, and Australia would completely vanish from Earth!

The people of Brisbane naturally noticed the enormous cannon was aimed at their city.

Though they weren’t sure what horrors this cannon could unleash, they were already screaming in terror and despair.

In the midst of countless panicked screams and cries, the cannon radiated a bright light akin to the sun in mid-June.

Then, with a thunderous boom, a massive beam of light blasted forth from the giant cannon’s barrel.

This beam wasn’t enormous at its ejection from the barrel.

Yet, as it shot out, it rapidly expanded and rolled in all directions.

Transforming into a light curtain millions of square kilometers wide, it swiftly enveloped the continent below!

This light curtain appeared paper-thin, like a sheet of paper, aside from its unfathomable speed, as quick as lightning, it seemed unremarkable.

In less than a second, this light curtain ”lightly” covered millions of kilometers like a gauze.

The next moment, an extraordinarily dazzling white light abruptly pierced upward!

Under this white light, all illuminated matter, be it flowers, trees, soil, seawater, or drifting clouds, evaporated instantly!

”Boom”!

A worldwide shocking roar came tardily.

Amid the earth-shattering roar, a visible hemispherical shockwave swiftly expanded in all directions.

In an instant, the entire continent comprising Australia was shattered by the terrifying force.

Countless materials flew into the sky, then were crushed into dust by successive shockwaves, ultimately vanishing entirely from view.

The devastation continued rampant, raising huge tsunamis from the ocean!

With the thunderous roar and tsunami’s power unleashed, those making sarcastic remarks fell silent.

Those doubting whether the Cosmic Battleships were Lu Li’s projections also fell silent.

The whole Earth, with its eight billion people, almost all fell silent at that moment.

The entire world... fell utterly silent!
