Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

In the conference room.

George, the Great Emperor, and others gradually left.

Lu Li remained seated in the chair, motionless.

He closed his eyes in contemplation, pondering the changes in himself during these days.

Since constructing a ”perpetual motion machine” within his body, his strength increased daily.

At this time, five days had passed since the alien attack on Earth, and his energy had grown significantly.

”Five days ago, the magnitude of my energy was roughly equivalent to that of three suns.”

Lu Li thought to himself, his eyes closed, ”I can increase by the energy of one sun every twenty hours. Now that five days have passed, I’ve roughly gained the energy of six suns.”

If the energy of one sun is considered the force of one star.

Then the magnitude of my current energy is about nine stars strong.

”Since I broke free from the constraints of the flesh, my energy growth is no longer restricted, and this growth seems endless.”

Lu Li felt a bit puzzled, ”The energy growth appears boundless, but why can’t I sense any traces of evolution?”

Could it be... the sixth deep evolution has reached its limit?

But that doesn’t seem right; he clearly felt he could continue evolving without limits.

In the past, Lu Li might have thought this was just an illusion.

However, after the sixth deep evolution, he was acutely aware that he had reached a nearly universe-transcending state.

The so-called intuition could not be an illusion.

Therefore, Lu Li had sufficient reason to believe that his previous premonition of limitless evolution was correct.

Since that’s the case, why can’t he feel the traces of evolution now?

He pondered for a long time and finally concluded, ”Perhaps the energy I possess is not yet formidable enough.”

If this guess is correct, then how massive and vast must the energy be to enter the seventh deep evolution?

A hundred stars’ worth of force?

A thousand stars’ worth?

Or perhaps tens of thousands of stars’ worth?

Lu Li couldn’t make a temporary guess, nor could he predict the enormous changes the seventh deep evolution might bring him.

”Each deep evolution causes me to take a qualitative leap.”

Lu Li kept reminiscing, ”In the previous times, the energy magnitude might have been a bit low, so it wasn’t very obvious, but from the fourth to the fifth deep evolution was very apparent. I evolved from a ’surface creature’ to a true ’deity,’ even possessing the force of stars, and after the sixth deep evolution, the force of one star explosively grew to nine stars in just a few days. Thus, when I undergo the seventh deep evolution, even if I can’t reach a galaxy-level like the Milky Way, at least I’ll be more than ten times stronger than my current self, meaning the so-called one hundred stars’ worth of force.”

This was his minimum assessment standard for the seventh deep evolution, in reality, it might be even higher.

Lu Li thought for a short while on aspects related to evolution, and his thoughts gradually shifted to another area.

Although his eyes were closed at the moment, he was thoroughly aware of everything happening on Earth, everything occurring at Proxima Centauri, and within a hundred and thirteen star systems much farther away.

For example, there’s a Triple Star System eighteen light-years away.

The largest star among them is an orange dwarf star, and the other two are red dwarf stars.

This is an unstable triple star system star system.

Although there are quite a few Earth-like planets, none are suitable for biological growth.

Therefore, Lu Li did not discover any life forms in this star system.

Moreover, he was even considering that in future human interstellar colonization, it might be necessary to ”dismantle” this triple star system, otherwise, it might impact development.

Within three light-years of this triple star system, there is a blue dwarf star.

If Lu Li remembered correctly, this blue dwarf star is the very Altair of Huaxia myth and legend.

This blue dwarf star has a mass 1.7 times that of the sun, a diameter 1.8 times the sun, brightness 10.6 times the sun, and a surface temperature of about 7000 degrees Celsius.

Lu Li observed that this is a very young star, possibly only existing for a few hundred million years.

Because of this, on the terrestrial planets 3.4 astronomical units from this star, although there is liquid water, due to an environment similar to Earth’s first billion years, constantly bombarded by meteors and asteroids, only relatively primitive single-celled organisms and bacteria thrive.

”Yet another star system unsuitable for human survival, it could similarly be mined for resources in the future or even turned into a tourist attraction.”

Lu Li was contemplating the use of star systems around the solar system, ”Altair is exceptionally famous in our country’s myths, turning it into a tourist attraction might indeed boost significant economic development.”

Yes, he was already thinking from the perspective of an ”Eternal Star Lord.”

Among the one hundred and thirteen star systems, Lu Li discovered only one or two Earth-like planets suitable for human habitation, but not that there was no life in other star systems, quite the opposite. About seven or eight star systems contain life, and in one red dwarf star system approximately 15.2 light-years from Earth, an intelligent race has already emerged.

This is a physically robust intelligent race, with each around three meters tall.

The only regrettable thing is that this intelligent race, with an appearance of blue faces and tusks, resembling an eight-armed Nezha, isn’t doing very well nowadays, still mired in a relatively primitive ”stone age,” struggling for food.
