Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

When Lu Li’s gaze swept over, George, the Great Emperor, Xiong Wen Si Lang, Lady Sanna, and others all involuntarily lowered their heads, not daring to make eye contact, which also signified they had completely surrendered to Lu Li.

Lu Li was very pleased with everyone’s attitude and slowly spoke, ”A while ago, I mentioned wanting to become the ’Eternal Star Lord’, and I gave you three days to consider it. Now that three days have passed, I would like to ask for your opinions. Do you support me in becoming this ’Eternal Star Lord,’ or not?”

No one spoke from below.

Lu Li took the initiative to call out, ”George, please share your thoughts.”

Being called upon, George was left without a choice. He lifted his head with a bright smile, whether genuine or feigned, saying, ”Mr. Lu has repeatedly saved Earth from peril, something anyone can see. If it wasn’t for Mr. Lu, we humans would probably have faced the apocalypse long ago. So, personally, I fully support Mr. Lu becoming the ’Eternal Star Lord’.”

”Very well.” Lu Li’s gaze shifted to the chief seat on the right. ”Great Emperor, what do you think?”

The Great Emperor raised his head, took a deep breath, and said, ”Before experiencing this alien invasion of Earth, I personally held doubts about you becoming the ’Eternal Star Lord,’ Mr. Lu. I thought that one person’s dictatorship might not be beneficial for the eight billion people of Earth. However, after this experience, I deeply understood that our human civilization is so insignificant. Without a great leader to guide us, we might sooner or later vanish under the invasion of higher civilizations from the cosmos. On Earth, the only person capable of standing up to alien civilizations is you, Mr. Lu. Therefore, my opinion is the same as George’s, acknowledging Mr. Lu’s role as the ’Eternal Star Lord,’ to lead our human civilization to glory.”

His words were heavily flattering, initially suppressing then elevating, making it seem as though he was awed by Lu Li’s greatness rather than submitting to power out of fear.

Many silently cursed the flatterer, thinking he said everything they wanted to; how could they flatter now?

After questioning two people in succession, Lu Li looked at the others and asked, ”What about you, what are your thoughts?”

Xiong Wen Si Lang immediately spoke, ”I agree with Mr. Lu becoming the ’Eternal Star Lord.’”

Lady Sanna said, ”Humans can only conquer the stars and seas under Mr. Lu’s leadership, I support it.”

”Agreed!”

”Support Mr. Lu in becoming the ’Eternal Star Lord.’”

”I personally have no objections.”

”Indeed, without Mr. Lu, we humans would have been extinct twice over already. How else would we be sitting here right now? I also support Mr. Lu becoming the ’Eternal Star Lord.’”

”I support it...”

”Support...”

Ten!

Fifty!

Soon, top leaders from 192 countries worldwide expressed their opinions, supporting Lu Li as the ”Eternal Star Lord.”

Lu Li was very satisfied with this and said, ”Alright, since you’ve all agreed, let’s now discuss how the entire Earth and even the entire human future should operate after conquering thousands of star systems.”

George said, ”Mr. Lu, please go ahead.”

The others also focused their attention intently.

Lu Li leaned back in his chair and said softly, ”First, I will establish a workplace for the ’Eternal Star Lord.’ Each of you must send one or two liaisons there. Whenever I have orders to issue, they will communicate them to you, and you are to execute them as best as you can.”

”No problem.”

”We will spare no effort to execute them well.”

George, the Great Emperor, and others responded one after another.

Lu Li continued, ”Second, I won’t be sending anyone to your countries. However, I will establish a ’super artificial intelligence’ office in each of your countries. It will not only control all the weapons but also calculate the optimal path for development based on your individual situations. In short, it will partially replace your decisions, without completely stripping away decision-making, simply allowing management to gradually move from manual to semi-intelligent levels.”

Indeed, he planned to establish a machine intelligence similar to the one in ”The Matrix” to assist George, the Great Emperor, and others in effectively managing their respective regions for optimal, efficient results.

Of course, machine intelligence always has certain limitations, as illustrated by the inception of ”The Matrix.”

Lu Li did not wish to see a ”Matrix” scenario emerge, so he would impose limits on the super machine intelligence, still basing management on humans managing humans.

Surely, Lu Li knew the demand was excessive because it required those present to relinquish considerable power, so he wanted to see if they could accept it.

George gave it careful thought for a moment, then exhaled a long breath, ”I have no objections.”

The Great Emperor pondered for a long time, and finally said with a bitter smile, ”Maybe letting go in this way is also a dignified approach.”

”I can accept it.”

”Let’s do as Mr. Lu said.”

Xiong Wen Si Lang, Lady Sanna, and others unanimously approved.

Seeing everyone agree, Lu Li said, ”Third, since you are making sacrifices, I cannot let you go unrewarded. Therefore, in the coming years, I will have the super artificial intelligence raise your respective areas to different levels of civilization based on current conditions, provided you meet my array of assessment indicators. These improvements are comprehensive, including in aspects such as civil welfare, aerospace, military, etc.”
