Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

”The scene must be spectacular!”

”It’s not just spectacular; it must be magnificent!”

Everyone was extraordinarily excited, eager to witness the Ancestral Gods head to the star system where the Spiritual Energy Star resides, and then unleash supreme power to destroy it.

Everyone on Earth was anticipating!

...

On the other side.

The Orion Interstellar Alliance.

Regarding whether or not to support the Spiritual Race, the leaders of over a hundred Steward Planets had been debating for several Earth Days, yet they still hadn’t made a decision.

Why?

Because whether they choose to help or not, both choices hugely impact the Orion Interstellar Alliance.

If they choose to help, these Star Lords of the Steward Planets really fear that the Planet Guardian God of that low-level civilization’s planet has the power to destroy a star system and then implicate their own races.

This suggests that perhaps they shouldn’t help the Spiritual Energy Star through its crisis.

But the negative implications of choosing not to help are also significant.

The initial purpose of establishing the Interstellar Alliance was to resist external threats; a secondary goal was to create a complete system for reasonable resource allocation, civilized exchange, technological enhancement, and mutual benefit.

This means that resisting external threats is the core principle of the Alliance.

Now, the Spiritual Energy Star, a member of the Orion Interstellar Alliance, is facing its greatest catastrophe ever, and if handled poorly, it could lead to extermination. Can everyone really ignore this?

If they ignore the life and death of the Spiritual Race today, who will care about their life and death when their own race and planet face similar situations in the future?

This is why they’ve been unable to make a decision after several days of discussion.

But delaying further is not an option.

Because the deadline set by the Planet Guardian God of the lower civilization’s planet is drawing close.

In another three Earth Days, that Planet Guardian God might proceed to the star system where the Spiritual Race is located.

The Supreme Leader of the Alliance, Balabamo, the Supreme King of the Night Cloud Race, personally presided over this meeting.

He looked at over a hundred projections, his tone becoming immensely grave, ”Regardless of everyone’s hesitations, there’s only one Night Cloud Day left before that unique being’s deadline to exterminate the Spiritual Race, so you must give a result today. I’ll initiate a vote shortly, with only two choices: help or not help, and there’s no abstention. If anyone doesn’t vote within a set time, it will be considered compliance with the Alliance rules to help the Spiritual Race!”

One Night Cloud Day roughly equals three Earth Days.

No big deal.

What matters is that when everyone heard Balabamo’s demand for an answer, their brows furrowed even tighter.

”Must we decide?”

”Can’t we have more time to think it through?”

”Yeah, isn’t there still a Night Cloud Day? We have time.”

”Balabamo, give us more time to ponder.”

The leaders of numerous planets spoke at once, clearly using delay tactics.

They thought well, just keep delaying, see if at the deadline that unique being really goes to annihilate the Spiritual Race.

If it really does, then everyone need not help, maybe just issue some condemnations, like how extermination is wrong or something.

If that unique being doesn’t go to the star system where the Spiritual Race is, then even better, the crisis is naturally resolved, and there’s no need to help the Spiritual Race.

Yes, they all don’t want to take risks; they just want to keep dragging it out.

How could the Spiritual Ability King not know their thoughts?

He trembled with rage, thinking these bastards used to call the Spiritual Race ”Sweetheart” when they led everyone in battles, but now call them ”Bull Lady” when they’re in trouble?

Damn it!

Truly shameless!

The Spiritual Ability King cursed inwardly but dared not show it.

After all, he still needed to rely on their strength to fend off external threats.

Balabamo was much more decisive; he straightforwardly said, ”The vote must produce a result today!”

After speaking, he waved to the Night Cloud Race technician waiting by his side.

The technician, like flowing metal, quickly condensed into a human form and then connected the voting devices to the super-intelligent brain.

Once the voting equipment was connected, Balabamo directly said, ”I believe everyone sees the voting interface, so let’s start voting now.”

Having said that, as the Supreme Leader of the Alliance, he chose the ”help” option with a sense of do-or-die.

If even he, as the Supreme Leader, chose ”not help,” who would follow him, Balabamo, in the future?

So Balabamo had no choice but to remain silent.

The leaders of the other planets also felt conflicted.

However, they each began to vote nevertheless.

The leader of Kala Star chose not to help.

The leader of Noel Star chose to help.

The leader of Palu Star chose not to help.

The leader of Noah Star chose not to help.

Ten!

Fifty!

Gradually, all over a hundred Star Lords finished voting.

The Spiritual Ability King looked at the vote result of ninety-seven to twenty-three on the big screen, his face ashen.

He hadn’t expected these allies to be so ruthless, actually choosing not to help!

At this moment, the Spiritual Ability King felt the urge to kill them all!

Fortunately, Balabamo spoke, ”Although the final vote result is that everyone chose not to help the Spiritual Race, the Spiritual Race is ultimately a member of the Orion Interstellar Alliance. For a million years, even without merit, there is hard work. Therefore, I propose that everyone donate their most powerful Cosmic Battleship to the Spiritual Race, giving them the power to resist.”

”Agreed.”

”Cosmic Battleship? No problem.”

”As long as we don’t have to send our warriors over.”

This time, no one objected.

Material support is fine, but they certainly don’t want to engage head-on with that unique being with world-shattering strength.

The Spiritual Ability King was in utter despair, but getting some material support was a slight relief amid the misfortune.

His heart was fiercely thinking, if the Spiritual Race could survive this ordeal, he definitely wouldn’t let these bastards off!

Yes, despite their despair, the Spiritual Race held onto a sliver of hope, thinking that with super-advanced technology, they might defeat that Planet Guardian God who embodies heaven and earth’s might.

...

Seated in the super base.

Lu Li felt the endless power rise and gather within him.

Since his ”Fire Cultivation” inside succeeded, he had been growing stronger each day.

Today was the day to destroy the star system where the Spiritual Race’s Mother Star resides, as promised.

Lu Li’s internal energy had increased by six solar forces.

He had skyrocketed from nine solar forces a few days ago to fifteen.

”Unprecedented strength!”

Lu Li was lost in his own powerful forces.

To be honest, if it weren’t for the Spiritual Race’s extremely heinous actions this time, he wouldn’t really want to destroy this advanced intelligent species for no reason.

Lu Li just wanted to experience the ”thrill” of his strength increasing daily.

”Now that I have fifteen solar forces, yet just like a few days ago, I feel no signs of evolution. Just how much do I have to increase my energy to touch the edge of evolution?”

Although Lu Li at this moment already possessed an endless lifespan, making waiting a bit longer seem insignificant, he usually experienced a deep evolution once every half month or so. Now, about ten days had passed since the sixth deep evolution, with no reaction at all, leaving him understandably puzzled.

After feeling the changes in his power for a while.

Lu Li slowly turned his head and looked in a certain direction, a cold smile on his face, ”You guys still dare to send supplies? Seems you don’t know how ruthless one with the surname Lu can be!”

Previously, he had visited Night Cloud Star, leaving a trail of energy as a coordinate there, continuously using energy to form a line to ”eavesdrop,” naturally perceiving the contents of their meetings.

Moreover, his energy locked onto the Spiritual Ability King, initially to prevent escape, but it accidentally allowed him to hear the King’s inner thoughts, realizing he was about to go berserk from anger.

Of course, he also knew that the people on Earth were all eagerly waiting for him to wield his great power and utterly obliterate the Spiritual Race.

Indeed, the Spiritual Race had gone too far this time.

If Earth didn’t have him, this extraordinary being, humans might really have faced extermination.

How could Lu Li possibly spare the Spiritual Race?

”Alright, it seems the time has come. It’s time to go to the Spiritual Planet to fulfill my previous promise—the time for the Spiritual Ability King’s demise has arrived. Moreover... this time, I want to utterly intimidate the Orion Interstellar Alliance and the Galaxy Alliance, ensuring that humanity can continue to coexist peacefully with those advanced civilizations.”

With that, Lu Li’s figure gradually dissipated.

A gentle breeze swept across the heavens and earth.

Venus suddenly radiated brilliantly.

”Those who offend Earth, though distant, must be exterminated!”
