Daddy Always Gets Jealous

”...”

Mubai set down the medical record in his hands, thinking that the little guy might already know, ”Have you ever thought that maybe you liked her in the beginning because she’s your mom, which is different from anyone else?”

”Oh, could it be like that??”

The little guy pursed his tiny lips, his big eyes made a round turn, and he looked out of the window, thinking this explanation seemed to make sense.

Mubai smiled, ”There’s always some kind of magical connection between people.”

”...”

”You are still young, and you and Huanhuan are not suitable. When you grow up, you will understand. Since that’s the case, isn’t it better for her to be your mom?”

”...”

The little guy hung up the phone silently, hmph, Uncle Mubai must be speaking well of that hateful guy Huo Jinnan, he must have been bribed by Huo Jinnan!

But thinking back to what Uncle Mubai had said, there seemed to be some truth in it. Before meeting Huanhuan, he had never felt that tingling sensation in his heart with any other girl. Could it be that there really was some miraculous connection between a baby and his own mom?

But just letting Huo Jinnan succeed felt uncomfortable in his heart!

No, he couldn’t let him off that easily!

What about introducing Huanhuan to Uncle?

The little guy glanced toward the direction of the door, thinking that his uncle did not seem good enough for Huanhuan. But it didn’t seem right to introduce her to someone else, either. What to do?

Suddenly, he thought of the dream he had after Huo Jinnan mentioned his mother, his eyes lit up!

That’s right, that’s what he would do. He would make Huanhuan so formidable in the future that Huo Jinnan would be afraid of her, and then, every day, he could watch Huanhuan bully that hateful guy Huo Jinnan.

Thinking this, he felt much happier.

That was still not enough; he had to dress Huanhuan up beautifully, so all men would see her and fall in love, their eyes glued on her, creating many romantic rivals for Huo Jinnan, making him jealous!

The more he thought about it, the happier he became, really wanting to see Huo Jinnan go crazy.

After putting down the phone and standing up, he walked in the direction of the bathroom, went up on tiptoes, and took a glance at himself in the mirror. Apart from the scabbed areas, he was clean and white and didn’t seem to affect his attractiveness all that much.

Such a cute baby, Huanhuan would surely like him, right?

He had to compete with Huo Jinnan for favor and fight for Huanhuan. He cheerfully made up his mind!

After tidying up his clothes, he went to the door of the lounge, stretched out his hand to push the door open, and saw Huanhuan looking over in his direction. He pursed his tiny lips, not knowing why, but suddenly he felt nervous.

Che Huan looked at the little guy, her heartbeat skipping a beat, and her hand involuntarily clenched her skirt.

Huo Jinnan glanced at her, and his large palm covered her hand.

Seeing this, the little guy’s expression turned awkward, as if he couldn’t get used to the sudden role switch of Huanhuan becoming his mom, and also Huo Jinnan’s handsome ”salty pig hand”!

He puckered his little mouth and slowly approached Che Huan, his large eyes blinking.

Che Huan sat there, her breath also held, listening to the little guy’s footsteps as if they were stepping on her heartbeat and coming toward her.

Arriving in front of Che Huan, the little guy’s ears turned slightly red, and he straightened his little backbone, ”Huanhuan.”

Che Huan came back to her senses, bit her lip—how should she tell the little guy that she is his real mom? Huo Jinnan had said it, and he didn’t believe it; would the little guy believe her?

”Huanhuan!”

The little guy gave Huo Jinnan a glance and quickly sat next to Che Huan, took her hand, and mustered up the courage to look up at her.
