Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Huo Jinbei glanced at Huo Jinnan, truly not expecting that Che Huan had always been unaware the little guy was her child, nor did he anticipate that his second brother had only just told her.

Upon hearing the little guy ask again, he looked at the little guy, ”If I heard correctly, I remember your dad saying it was Che Huan.”

The little guy sat there, silent, his large eyes rolling around in a circle before turning to look at Huo Jinnan, with his small mouth puckering before finally speaking, ”Is what little uncle said true?”

Huo Jinnan’s eyes intensely focused on the little guy, extinguished the cigarette between his fingers, ”If you don’t believe it, you can ask Shen Mubai to help you do a paternity test with Che Huan.”

Paternity test?

The little guy kept a straight face, silent, just staring intently at Huo Jinnan, his mind filled with the indescribable feeling he had the first time he saw Huanhuan—

He believed that it was love!

Therefore, Huo Jinnan must have concocted a story to deceive him, to compete with him for Huanhuan, he didn’t believe it!

So despicable, so shameless, such unscrupulous means!

Thinking this, he puffed out his cheeks, looked towards Che Huan, and mustered the courage to speak calmly, ”Huanhuan, Huo Jinnan is lying to you, don’t believe him. Let’s go to Uncle Shen Mubai later and do the paternity test, and then see what he can say! I won’t let you go to him!”

Che Huan stood there, looking at the little guy, suddenly at a loss for words, her originally fair cheeks appeared even paler under the light.

Indeed, the little guy didn’t believe it!

When the little guy looked towards Che Huan, and saw her expression, he furrowed his brow; Huanhuan seemed very upset! It was all Huo Jinnan’s fault, why concoct such a lie!

Really! Annoying Huo Jinnan!

He glanced at Huo Jinnan, ”If you like Huanhuan, we should compete fairly. Why must you use such low methods? Are you still the Huo Jinnan I know?”

Huo Jinnan cast a sidelong look at Che Huan, ”Give him some time to accept it.”

As soon as the words fell, he picked up the little guy.

The little guy, with his body suspended in the air, flailed his arms, ”Huo Jinnan!”

Huo Jinnan lowered his eyes and glanced at him, carrying him straight into the adjacent rest room.

Just like that, without any chance to resist, it was only when his feet touched the ground that the little guy, annoyed, looked up at Huo Jinnan, ”You’ve gone too far!”

He straightened his collar and looked up at Huo Jinnan with displeasure, making an effort to puff out his little chest to seem more imposing.

Huo Jinnan sat opposite, his long legs crossed, looking at the little guy.

The little guy puffed out his cheeks; no matter what, he was determined to stand his ground against Huo Jinnan today!

”Tell me, was it that time in the hospital when you secretly fell for Huanhuan?”

A pair of ink-black large eyes stared at Huo Jinnan, unblinking.

Huo Jinnan glanced out the door, his voice magnetic, ”I’m not joking, I am saying it very seriously again, Che Huan is your birth mother.”

Seeing he didn’t seem to be joking, his expression too serious, the little guy froze there, staring at Huo Jinnan with widened eyes, pursing his small mouth, not knowing what to say!

Could it be true?

No, no way, he would rather Huo Jinnan were deceiving him.

Huo Jinnan lit another cigarette, took a drag, ”If you’re worried Shen Mubai might tamper with the results, you can go to any medical institution for a DNA test.”

”...”

The little guy gave no response, just watching Huo Jinnan, trying to read something amiss on his face, unfortunately, that face, it showed no expression at all.
