Cursed Immortality

Chapter 960 First Encounter! (2)

”Infinity Blood Sacrifice!”

Jacob instantly activated the Infinity Blood Sacrifice with deep agitation because he was afraid…he was very afraid…he was afraid of Cursed Immortality failing like the Infinity Pendant.

Only when the cursed book reacted did he feel relief, and he never thought he would be so glad after seeing the darn book in his life.

Nonetheless, despite having a plethora of raging questions, he didnʼt have time for chitchat. He instantly made a wish while continuing to phase shift since remaining still would only get him killed.

_____

Wish: I wish to teleport to a safe place within the Legendary Plains/Middle Galaxies!

Cost: 100% Infinity Blood… or 1,000,000 Years of Lifespan!

___

-Lifespan: 824,144 Years (All Youthful)

______

”Are you fucking with me?!” Jacob was shocked when he saw the cost of carrying through this simple wish.

However, Jacob quickly calmed down. His eyes flickered with deadly iciness because he knew how the Infinite Blood Sacrifice worked: the higher the cost of the wish, the more complex the task.

So, now that he had seen a whooping million years of lifespan to escape from this unknown entity, he knew whoever they were, they were terrifyingly powerful and probably a real Mythical King.

ʼBut why would a Mythical King be here?! What about the goddamn rules!? And why in the world it came right after me? Wait a minute, donʼt tell me the seal of the Soul Abyss wasnʼt for annihilating the entire Ghost Race, but it was sealing something else! Could it be this monster?ʼ Jacob couldnʼt think of another explanation.

But when he thought about his Infinity Pendant and Cursed Heart, he was filled with doubts. Nonetheless, he needed to get out of here first before doing anything else, and he didnʼt even have a million years to pay even if he wanted to.

Jacob was about to change his wish, but he saw another vision before he could. When it ended, Jacob stopped using the Phase Shift because he saw himself falling into that jaw again right after using three more phase shifts!

Again, Jacob was filled with fear as he was now sure an entity above the Legendary Rank was targeting him, and it was not even ten seconds yet. Not only was his Universal Godly Artifact rendered immobilized, but his strongest escaping ability was also seen through!

”Damn it, why the hell are you silent? Who is chasing me?!” Jacob felt frustrated and afraid after a long time.

After over two thousand years, he was calm in the face of crisis, but this crisis was way past his limits. His Infinity Pendant had a problem for the first time, making him even more afraid.

Immortika has been suspiciously silent all this time, and despite activating the Infinite Blood Sacrifice, the Cursed Immortality has not shown itself.

Instead, the moment he activated the ability, the black page appeared inside his mind just like it appeared on the cursed immortality. Jacob didnʼt even know this ability could be activated like this as well.

Nonetheless, he still made a wish despite his curiosity. Just like in cursed immortality, the wish was inscribed on the page, and the cost appeared. This was way safer and faster.

But this only complicated matters further. Now that Jacob was in a perilous situation, Immortika refused to show up.

Immortika wasnʼt even afraid of the Divine Artifact: The Divine Soulless Pagoda, and there were very few occasions Immortika had reacted like this, and each one of these situations was worse than the last.

Jacob knew he had no time to waste and instantly changed his wish.

_____

Wish: I wish to teleport into the Evil Domain in the Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius of Legendary Plains/Middle Galaxies!

Cost: 100% Infinity Blood… or 25,000 Years of Lifespan!

______

ʼAt least itʼs not a million…but itʼs still too much from what Iʼve imagined. Whoever you are, if I manage to escape today…ʼ

Jacobʼs eyes flickered with raging killing intent as he ordered, ”Carry through!”

_____

-Lifespan: 814,144 Years (All Youthful)

______

Jacob vanished again, and a moment later, right where he stood, a purplish current flashed past and then turned into extremely tiny runes before they disappeared.

”Youʼve finally used your Godly Ability…tsk, tsk, itʼs too strange…too strange…it was like the Cursed One could foresee the traps before I even laid them. What kind of divine ability is this? But if the Cursed One can continue to use it, then the new ʼterritoryʼ will be even more troublesome to deal with.

”Still, it was a good thing I decided to stay here for a while; the Cursed One shouldʼve been hiding in that wretched pendant. Nonetheless, I still manage to probe the Cursed One…

”But the Cursed One didnʼt use that strange ability to hide that wretched pendant or break free from… could it be something is helping the Cursed One? But who would be fool enough to make an enemy out of the Void!?

”Since you used the Godly Ability, I canʼt follow you, but I can still feel where you went, and itʼs not so far away from here…first encounter not so bad, Hehehe~!”

Crazy laughter filled with terrifying madness and desire reverberated throughout the ruins of the Soulless Palace.

However, the voice abruptly stopped before sneering with derision, ”Reckless worms know your place!”

The next moment, space starts collapsing at specific points, creating wormholes. When it collapses, debris flashes briefly before being swallowed into the wormholes without leaving any traces!

---

At this moment, Jacob appeared in the Evil Domain and instantly felt a huge change in temperature and environment. He found himself hovering at the edge of an active volcanoʼs maw.

However, Jacob didnʼt have time to observe further as he knew the crisis wasnʼt over because the Infinity Pedant was still immobilized.

Although the attraction force was greatly reduced, it was definitely there, making Jacob feel chills in his bones. He knew his location was probably revealed to his enemy again!

But right at this moment, a jeering voice rang in his head, and again, he never thought he would find this eerie voice musical in his entire life before this moment.

”What are you dilly-dallying for? Just use the mask already, or donʼt tell me youʼre having a blast just like I do. Hahahahaha~~~!”
