Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1551: Chapter 41: Happiness (4)

A series of explosions spread from the center of the battlefield to the sides, like a row of waves stirred up by an aircraft strafing.

The roar of the Suss Major ultimately vanished in the black tide.

The five hundred War Gods of the bandit army’s Special Forces Camp, having charged through the battlefield, began slaughtering towards the sides. The joint positions of the Suss people and a small number of Jiepeng people were crumbling piece by piece, gaps quickly widening, and countless Western Alliance Soldiers scattered in panic.

Admiral Pereira, the 33rd Army Commander, swiftly seized this opportunity. Under his command, a regiment of the 332nd Armored Division of the 33rd Army quickly followed up, continuously breaking through into the depth and expanding towards the flanks.

The Fei Alliance Soldiers, long stimulated into fervor by the fierce slaughter of the bandit army’s Special Forces Camp, desperately sprinted forward. Shoulder to shoulder, they passed through the widened gaps and pushed into the depths. The rolling dust kicked up by the high-speed movement of the armored group obscured the sky.

At this moment, they didn’t even have time to pay attention to those Western Alliance Soldiers on the battlefield who raised their hands in surrender.

Run forward.

The officers shouted loudly, and the warriors howled.

The five hundred Devil Mechas attacking like wolves into a flock of sheep left them feeling immensely excited amid the shock.

It was a strength they had never experienced before, a pride from being in the same camp, a true obliteration!

The frontline of the Su Jie Alliance Army was already riddled with holes. As one Fei Alliance Armored Group after another charged with rainbow-like morale, segment after segment of the battlefield fell in the fierce fire, each Su Jie Mecha shattering in explosions.

They had advanced from Frenso Town to here; victory was already within sight!

The battle stretched towards the heart of the city.

From the air, the vast armored group surged into the city streets like a flood that had breached its banks. Black, blue, and dark green mechas dispersed in all directions. In front of them, the gray Western Alliance Armored Forces were scattered.

When the outer defensive lines continued to collapse, the entire Western Alliance Army of Xiushui River Town could no longer organize effective resistance.

The bandit armored troops advanced rapidly along the city streets. One district after another fell into the hands of the Fei Alliance Soldiers.

The retreating Western Alliance Forces in front were driven back like a chaotic flock of ducks.

Occasionally, Western Alliance Forces rushing to reinforce the outer lines collided head-on with the retreating troops at intersections, and before the commanding officer had time to order a defensive position, the attack line of the Fei Alliance Armored Forces extended before him. Then came a new round of defeat.

Fatty rushed and jumped, leading the entire team at the forefront.

The five hundred Rampage units he led, like a spear thrust into the enemy formation’s core, left the main force behind in just over ten minutes, piercing through Frenso Town’s Southern District, defeating several Suss Armored Forces along the route, and passed through the city center to reach the junction of the East District.

”Boom!” Fatty grabbed a Suss Mecha’s arm, stepped sideways, swung it with his backhand, and smashed it hard to the ground. The solid ground instantly showed several cracks running in all directions. The mecha shattered in the massive impact.

Amidst the flying dust, Logic lightly kicked off, his form unfolding like a divine dragon roaming through the clouds, catching up with another fleeing Suss Mecha in several strides.

The terrified Suss Knight, having just turned to throw a purposeless punch, felt a flash before his eyes and lost sight of the tattered devil.

By then, Logic had already made a ghostly zigzag advancement, flashing behind the Suss Mecha.

Facing the defenseless rear of the Suss Mecha, Fatty did not choose to kill with a single blow but grabbed the opponent’s shoulder, shook his hand, and tossed it high.

Under the fearful gaze of surrounding Suss Knights, the tattered [Logic] soared into the sky, simultaneously launching punches and kicks. One after another phantom ripple instantly formed, turning the attacking fists and kicks into a dense meteor shower, causing the Suss Mecha to keep rolling and shaking in mid-air.

The intense sound of blows lasted a full five seconds.

During these five seconds, the Suss Mecha kept rolling in the air, unable to land. Its originally intact body cracked visibly, and when it finally fell heavily to the ground, it became a heap of scrap metal!

”Boom!”

The sound of the mecha crashing to the ground sent a shock through the surrounding Suss Knights.

The dust spread everywhere, and amidst the auxiliary thruster’s sprayed light, the tattered Devil Mecha gracefully descended.

The Suss Knights’ eyes widened in rage, this damn Devil Mecha, with sturdy shoulders and arms, a ferocious head, a neck thicker than a devil muscle man’s head, a belly and thighs like a skinned frog, yet making a fairy-like pose full of self-pity.....

One Suss warrior raised his hand high and opened the mecha cockpit.

Next was the second, the third.....

Faced with hundreds of black Devil Mechas buzzing like weasels seeing chickens, and the pervert driving the tattered mecha before them, they could think of no other way but to surrender.

When full streets of raised hands from the Suss Mechas were visible, no one knew a few panting Chuckna Soldiers were staring dumbly at the scene from the nearby ruins.

Their dirty faces had sweat washed trenches crisscrossing them. Their eyes sparkled with incredulous tears.

Clang, the portable energy machine gun in Doumi’s hand fell among the ruins.

The sound drew the attention of several black mechas. These fierce and scary devils turned their heads, sweeping their blue eyes across the disordered ruins.

Hesitatingly, Doumi finally bravely stepped forward, revealing his figure from the shadow of a collapsed building. The golden sunlight warmly shone upon him.

He walked towards the black Mecha. In his eyes, these ferocious devils were not only not terrifying but immensely adorable and endearing. They stood quietly as if heavenly gods had descended.

With a soft whizz, a Rampage unit opened its cockpit. When the bandit uniform-clad mech knight smiled and waved at Doumi, and Doumi’s tears overflowed, a cheer rose to the clouds from the city’s every corner.

Countless ragged Chuckna Warriors rushed out from the ruins in all directions. They jumped, shouted, and waved their weapons vigorously.

One by one, soldiers ran out, and one by one, scarred mechas also ran out. Among the ruins, atop buildings, countless Chuckna defenders jubilantly cheered.

The sky seemed to brighten at this moment. The golden sunlight illuminated the scarred city. In the distance, artillery boomed, and countless Fei Alliance Mechas surged like tides. By the roadside, the Suss Mechas with raised hands formed the most thrilling backdrop in this scene.

This moment, so filled with happiness.
