Through the window, Sanjad gazed at the Freedom Fighters who had lingered for a long time. He sighed deeply, shook his head, and turned slowly to Tian Xingjian with a bitter smile, saying, ”You are very right. They, including us, are too obsessed.” He watched as Oberto poured tea for Fatty, who was sitting on the couch, and continued, ”From the day the Freedom Front was established, it has always embraced sacrifice as its mission, without considering the actual value of such sacrifices.”

Fatty accepted the tea, thanked Oberto, and turned to say, ”With war comes sacrifice. Without sacrifice, there can be no victory—this is an unbreakable truth. However, to regard sacrifice as the sole goal is exceedingly naive and cruel.”

Fatty stood up as he spoke, walked over to Sanjad, and gazed at the Freedom Fighters on the playground. He sighed, ”If we talk about fearless elite soldiers, they are indeed the best. But they have misunderstood one thing: their mission is to achieve victory, not to seek death. Regularly, they hold the idea of dying at any moment, fearing neither heaven nor earth, looking down on everyone, cursing and fighting at will, haha...” Turning to Sanjad, he said, ”You must have spent considerable effort managing their emotions, right?”

Sanjad laughed, ”You truly are a worthy disciple of Algarfar; your perspective is as precise as your teacher’s!” He pulled Fatty to the couch to sit down, saying, ”The Freedom Front encompasses warriors from more than ten different ethnic groups. To be honest, if an ethnic group is accustomed to contempt and oppression for too long, servility is the hardest to overcome. How many predecessors who attempted to organize National Warriors to overthrow the racial hierarchy fell under their own people’s guns?” Sanjad’s expression was somber and gloomy, and his voice was heavy with pain and age, ”And how many predecessors were sent to the gallows by their own people, countless! Ethnic inferiority, ethnic laziness, ethnic servility are deeply ingrained in many people’s bones. They would rather live numb lives than rise up in resistance!”

These topics were too heavy, causing a momentary silence in the atmosphere. Sanjad smiled bitterly and said, ”The warriors of the Freedom Front all live at the bottom of society, with no retreat possible. If we talk about consciousness, they may not be highly aware; the only commendable trait is their fearlessness of death. They understand ethnicity and dignity. However, we ultimately found that such thoughts have gradually distorted during hundreds of years of struggle.”

Fatty nodded and added, ”Yes, it has turned into a narrow-minded extreme nationalism, which, in essence, is no different from those who establish hierarchies. The only difference is that so-called inferior ethnicities become superior ethnicities and then trample on the dignity of other ethnicities.” He looked at the three leaders without any reservation, saying, ”Thus, these warriors are not true warriors; they rely not on justice, but on an obsession. They die on the battlefield in succession but do not achieve victory. Why?”

The three leaders remained silent as Tian Xingjian said gravely, ”Because they can’t be controlled, because they are disorganized, because of their obsessed pride! They dare to die alongside the enemy, can go wild on the battlefield, but won’t listen to commands, fight chaotically, act impulsively and bravely, break the jar, break it completely, and die just to end it all!”

Fatty, who laughed at the black crow like a pig, was unaware that he himself, when afraid to the extreme, would also break the jar and go crazy in a similar manner. Only he followed orders and knew how to preserve his life.

Oberto slapped his thigh in agreement, ”Right! What you’ve said hits the nail on the head. I’ve always wondered why these fearless guys can’t win battles and why they can only achieve victory under Algarfar’s leadership. It’s because of these reasons! They’re too intense! The only one who can unite them and ensure they fully follow orders is Algarfar!”

Oberto, slightly agitated, took a sip of tea and said to Fatty, ”Do you know what I thought when you cursed them just now? I thought just one word—right! My mood was expressed in two words—thrilled! At that moment, I didn’t understand why I felt that way; now I get it—three words—I am pained! I’d rather they be cursed by you than see them die in vain!”

His one word, two words, three words amused Tian Xingjian, who couldn’t help but laugh. He found Oberto straightforward, naive, and adorable, embodying the qualities of a leader who could charge into battle.

Fatty smiled and said, ”No one can say for sure how this war will turn out, but I hope that until the Federation gains an absolute advantage, preserving the strength of the Freedom Front is crucial. If needed, I’ll personally come over, though general resistance activities should be reduced. We should first unify everyone’s thoughts and use the best resources for critical moments. Random fighting will not fundamentally shake the Imperial Family of Gazalin.” He turned to look at the Freedom Fighters on the playground and said, ”I think they will also understand these principles. If I were the enemy, their impulsive fighting style would only result in unnecessary sacrifice. Winning by any means is what matters most. Whether cunning or deceitful, they should start learning this combat method now. Whoever is the most insidious, the most despicable, the most shameless against the enemy, shall be the best warrior!”
