Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 96: Chapter 95:

Devour....

”Here comes the moment of truth..” I was curious, just what was the difference between devouring another human and others..

I’d already devoured a demon, so I know what that felt like, dungeon beasts were as generic as one would expect, so what would devouring a human feel like?

The system didn’t keep me in suspense...

>

Well that was a lot for someone still in the E-ranks..

Must’ve been something to do with his bloodline or something, cause I didn’t believe Micheal had that much energy to spare...

>

>

That entry had me pause..

”Heliarch Lineage? What the hell is that?”.

Didn’t I just acquire a bloodline? Since when were they classified?.

Putting my confusion aside for now, I refocused on the ongoing notifications..

Ahh, the talent that made this guy feel like the king of the world back at bright sun.

Honestly, getting it now didn’t feel as fulfilling as I would’ve expected..

”Nevertheless, power is power, no matter how little” I wasn’t about to start complaining...

>

”Speaking of attributes...” I still had a massive amount of leftover points yet to be distributed, I should probably get to that when I’m done with my work here..

”Okay.... Time to see what this Heliarch Lineage nonsense is all about” thinking so, I willed open the details of the bloodline...

[BLOODLINE SYSTEM ENTRY]:-

>

[Origin]:-

[Classification]:

[Rarity]:

[Origin Tier]:

---

DESCRIPTION:-

A solar-adaptive bloodline enabling the host organism to assimilate and refine stellar radiation into structured Solar Essence through an internal photonic conversion framework.

The body is reconfigured into a continuous solar-interaction medium, allowing progressive amplification of physical and energetic output based on exposure and stored reserves..

The bloodline’s entire biological framework exists to support a singular apex function:

..

[CORE BLOODLINE ABILITY]:-

:

Description:- The user becomes a living vessel for the primordial essence of the Sun. Your body no longer simply exists within the world; it becomes a gravitational anchor for solar radiation, converting light into absolute, unrefined power.

[PASSIVE STATE: Helios Resonance]

• Condition: Activates automatically when the user is exposed to natural sunlight or high-intensity stellar radiation.

• Effect:

• Infinite Kinetic Stacking. For every second the user remains in the sun, their physical stats (Strength, Agility, Endurance) and mana density increase by 1%

• Limitless: There is no conceptual upper limit to this growth. As long as the user’s physical vessel (Physique) can withstand the heat and internal pressure, the power will continue to climb toward infinity.

[ACTIVE STATE: Sovereign Solarium]

• Condition: Activated manually when the sun is obstructed, absent, or during night-time..

• Effect:

• Artificial Dawn: The user forcibly manifests a miniature, high-density sun in the local atmosphere. This ”Second Sun” acts as a catalyst, triggering the [Helios Resonance] passive at 5x the normal speed.

• Solar Dominion: While the Sovereign Solarium is active, all ”Darkness” based laws in the surrounding 500 meters are forcibly suppressed or incinerated.

Cost: Maintaining a literal star requires a terrifying amount of energy. It drains 100,000 MP per second, increasing exponentially the longer it is held. If the user’s energy hits zero, the star collapses, causing a localized supernova that damages the user..

---

- PASSIVE:

• Heliarch Conversion Circuit:-

* Converts solar radiation into refined Solar Essence..

* Reduces Solar Empowerment activation cost by 30–60%..

* Pre-processes raw energy to prevent internal instability..

---

• Photonic Reserve Layer:-

* Internal storage system for Solar Essence accumulation..

* Provides pre-charged energy buffer before activation..

* Smooths initial activation spike cost of Solar Empowerment..

---

• Radiant Somatic Reinforcement:-

* Passively strengthens body structure via solar circulation..

* Prevents physical collapse during Solar Empowerment usage..

* Increases durability under sustained high-output states..

---

Solar Respiration System:-

* Converts ambient light and heat into passive energy recovery..

* Reduces continuous energy drain while Solar Empowerment is active..

* Allows limited self-sustainment in low solar conditions..

---

• Helios Cognitive Stabilizer:-

* Stabilizes mental state during high-output Solar Empowerment use..

* Prevents sensory overload and identity fragmentation..

* Maintains perception coherence under extreme stat scaling..

---

Radiant Frame Anchoring:-

* Stabilizes bodily structure under escalating solar amplification.

* Extends safe duration of Solar Empowerment..

* Prevents uncontrolled physical mutation collapse..

---

• Sun-Divide Efficiency Law:-

* Automatically distributes Solar Essence into all combat attributes..

* Optimizes energy allocation during Solar Empowerment..

* Minimizes internal energy waste during conversion cycles..

---

• LIMITATIONS

* Solar Empowerment remains extremely high-cost per second

* Passive modules reduce cost but do not eliminate exponential scaling drain

* Full stabilization still requires external solar or stored reserves

* Bloodline is support-optimized, not infinite-sustain optimized

---

• HIERARCHY NOTE:-

> The Solar Essence Bloodline is a Peak Mortal lineage designed to support temporary Solar Empowerment manifestation.

> It is not the origin of Solar Authority, only a structured derivative system built to sustain it.

....

That....was different...

The bloodline was powerful, unexpectedly so for something that should’ve been a mortal rank bloodline, the passive effects basically halved the stress placed in the body during activation, and made the body strong enough to bear the increase in strength, all this whilst simultaneously cutting down backlash and activation cost..

It was all in all, a bloodline meant to push its wielder to powerful height..

But that wasn’t my focal point at this time..

No.

Because for the first time ever, the system’s entry had changed..

My system didn’t just give me a bloodline this time..

It classified it, for the first time ever, I was seeing terms I had no idea their meaning..

Heliarch Lineage?..

Terrestrial Apex Derivative?..

Fragmented bloodline???...

I already knew that SSS was merely the peak of the mortal ranks, but seeing the way my system worded it, there seemed to be something more..

”Damn... all I wanted was a simple bloodline, now I’m getting introduced to...what even is this?” When I said I wanted to know the difference between what devouring a fellow human and others felt like, this wasn’t what I meant..

”Or maybe his bloodline is different, that’s why?” It would make sense.

For a family to dominate the entirety of the eastern domain, even if not viewed highly by the powers that be, it wouldn’t be something mediocre, maybe this ”fragmented bloodline” was the secret to their rise in dominance?..

But if that were true, wouldn’t I be utterly fucked when they realized I had the very core aspect of their bloodline? Wouldn’t they try to snuff me out to prevent any further complications?..

”Damn... from the pan into the flipping fire I tell you”. I just couldn’t catch a break..

I was already on their hit list, Cara’s diversion had originally bought me time, but now? With this realization? I might just be in for a hell of a difficult time when I exit here..

”Great... just freaking great..”..

To make matters worse, the original I had comprehended earlier merely got assimilated with the bloodline, no upgrades, no evolution...

”Talk about stingy..”

sigh....

Seems I’d gotten so used to seeing evolution and upgrade notifications, that not seeing them now felt somewhat off..

”Well, it doesn’t matter, what will be will be” there wasn’t any use in fussing over the fallout of this test..

My goal remains the same..

Dominate..

Get my ticket into Aeternum.

Become strong...

....

Setting the troublesome thoughts aside, I moved on to the next agenda, the talent that gave a mob, the confidence to go against me...

A/N: seems there’s more to this bloodline than meets the eyes and if such a bloodline is already like this, then what exactly do those monster families wield??
