Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 58: Chapter 57:Two days...

”Ple...pleas...”

Bam!!!!

The arena shook violently as Micheal’s face slammed into it for what was probably the nth time today..

The surroundings had gone dead silent..

The unease and terror could be felt as thick as clouds..

The arena was nothing but a tapestry of blood! Blood!! and more BLOOD!!!

Severed limbs scattered like broken toys...

Micheal’s entire face... what face?

The thing currently kissing the arena floor couldn’t possibly be considered a face, not after what I’d done to it..

It had been over an hour since my ministration began..

I had tortured Micheal in ways I didn’t believe I had in me..

His limbs had been torn apart and crushed so many times I’d lost count..

At some point I had begun using his own flames to melt his internal organs whilst making sure my was in effect..

Don’t get it wrong.. he tried.. ohh he tried to extricate himself so many times.

But just shut down the attempt at every corner...

His casting wasn’t just disrupted. It was outright DENIED!

Healing? Nothing but a pipe dream.. if it wasn’t for my own active support, he’d have been teleported out ages ago..

As for his talents and bloodline abilities? The moment they surfaced, it was like snow meeting lava, they vanished instantly...

I knew a chaos touched abilities were terrifying, I mean didn’t just heal, it outright Rejected the concept of damage..

But I’d only just begun to understand the true horror of a chaos touched offensive ability...

This was just one. ONE out the many abilities my had, and it was the more milder one among them, yet it had rendered Micheal’s SSS-rank bloodline useless, his skills ineffective and his talent basically nonexistent..

It was quite honestly a horrifying thing to think about..

And I’d have thought about it if I wasn’t currently enjoying the Schplat! Sounds Micheal’s face? Made every time it met the arena floor...

BAM!!

”Enough!” An authoritative voice cut me off as Micheal’s face slammed into the ground one final time.

I stood up, a satisfied expression on my face.

I felt liberated, like I’d just had the best orgasm in my life..

The feeling of his bones shattering, his limbs tearing, the choking sounds of his pleas as his organs liquefied. ”Ahhhhhh.... This is bad...” I said softly, eyes tracking the crowd around me..

There were exactly 100 participants left, the disqualified ones having already left, yet none of them looked happy, in fact, they looked one second away from fleeing for their lives the moment my gaze settled on them..

”This is really bad...” a wild grin surfaced on my face..

”I think I might get addicted to this feeling” saying so, I raised my foot one last time and then...

SNAPP!!!

Drove it through Micheal’s spine, he couldn’t even summon the strength to scream, just a weak whimper before the golden glow was allowed to mercifully teleport him out..

I just stood there..

Basking in the after glow..

Dark thoughts swimming in my head..

I let them..

I needed to savor this moment..

I needed to be as evil as possible.

Those who took everything from me, they deserved nothing less than immeasurable suffering, and I was going to make sure I give it to them..

”You ANIMAL!!!!!!” A furious roar tore through my thoughts..

I opened my eyes, the city lord was looking at me with eyes blazing hot with barely contained fury, he looked one second away from tearing me apart, though I doubted he very much could...

”Why??” He asked, teeth grinding, fist shaking..

”The rules said to eliminate our opponents using whatever method’s necessary” I answered plainly..

”You didn’t need to torture him, he was already done”

”Then he should’ve have surrendered no?”

That statement set him off..

”Surrendered? SURRENDER?? YOU DIDNT LET HIM!!!!”

Boom!!! His aura flared, rushing towards me, threatening to flatten me..

Too bad...

Snap!!

A snap of my fingers and voila... GONE!!

”What??” Even in his rage, what had just happened was unexpected..

”I have no time for your tantrums old man. Why didn’t you rage at your son when he was barbecuing people left and right? Now you want to come lecture me? Please...” saying my piece, I walked off the stage...

I could feel his burning eyes on me, the killing intent thick..

’Heh. You can simmer in anger all you want, what can you do about it?’

Nothing, that’s what. If the head examiner hadn’t found grounds for condemnation, then Carrion Solaris couldn’t do shit to me..

Even if he could, I didn’t believe I’d be so helpless anymore, at least I’ll last long enough for help to arrive..

So with thoughts settled I rejoined the assembled participants..

************

”Congratulations everyone.. you’ve successfully secured your place as one of the representatives of your city” the leading man spoke up, his thick voice carrying through the city square...

”You can call me Instructor Valen, and I am the overseer of this year’s academy trials”..

His introduction made the participants eyes shine..

’What? The overseer? What the hell is a figure like that doing in bright sun? Shouldn’t he be the last stage boss or something?

I couldn’t help thinking I stunned wonder..

One should know, the status of an instructor within such an institution was incredibly significant..

They weren’t people you’d see even in Supreme Cities left alone a first rate one..

And this man wasn’t just an instructor, he was THE supervisor of this year’s exam..

That meant he was in charge of EVERYTHING..

It was no wonder everyone was stunned stupid..

”All you just accomplish was acquire the right to take the academy tests, do not feel proud of yourselves..”

He continued like he hadn’t just shocked 99.9% of everyone here, it seems even carrion had no idea who the man was, his eyes wide in shock and terror..

”You have two days to get your affairs in order, as from here we’ll be heading to Helios City, where the tests begin officially”

The man concluded, his gaze swept past the crowd, lingering on me for a few fleeting seconds, I caught the stare ’does he really know me from somewhere?’ I couldn’t shake the feeling that he knew me.

I didn’t know how, yet he seemed to have some sort of bias towards me, not that I was complaining though.

If it weren’t for that, my stupid system would have screwed me phenomenally..

Just thinking about it made my blood boil in anger..

’Just you wait, you bitch ass system, I’ll get you for this..’

”Any questions?” The man’s voice pulled me from my thoughts of revenge..

A young man to my right raised his hand..

”Yes?” The man’s gaze settled on him..

The youth swallowed nervously.

”Sir, what exactly is the true test?” The young man asked..

”The details of the tests will be made known when they begin officially..

You shall be notified along with the rest of the world.

Just know that if you’re dependent on your current abilities to get through alive? Then I suggest you give up now while you’re ahead. That will be all. We’ll meet here again in two days time, anyone not here will be taken as a forfeit”

Finished saying his piece, he turned and walked off..

The cold faced ugly bitch threw a dirty glance before turning her head away, strutting away like a castrated ostrich..

Carrion following behind in silence as the healers brought along his invalid son..

”Two days huh? Might as well use this time to get used to my abilities properly”..

Two days until the tests proper..

I was going to be ready..

It was time to finally show the world who they were messing with...
