After a full day of running through dungeons, and even breaking my promise, diving into a c-rank dungeon behind my Aunt’s back, I’d only been able to raise my attributes by 100 limit break points for the Normal ones, whilst that glutton intelligence stat finally sat at a more acceptable figure of 300..

”Ugh... just thinking about the number of points I’d squandered on this endeavor is giving me a headache..”..

No, honestly, it felt like I was walking through sludge, the progress after my time within the mutated Goblins Nest felt like worlds apart..

”At least it wasn’t all for naught” I thought quietly, looking at the new additions to my status panel.

....

:

Description:

The user can manipulate and control the earth’s geological structure, creating complex formations, triggering controlled earthquakes, and amplifying earth-based energies. This talent allows for versatile applications, from constructing fortifications to unleashing devastating geokinetic attacks.

Abilities:

- Earth Sculpting: Create and shape earth structures, from simple barriers to intricate architectures.

- Seismic Pulse: Generate controlled earthquakes or shockwaves to disrupt opponents or create openings.

- Geologic Resonance: Amplify earth-based energies to enhance physical abilities or power earth-based attacks.

- Tectonic Shift: Alter the earth’s surface, creating trenches, ridges, or other geological features for strategic advantage...

.....

This talent I’d gotten from the first C-rank dungeon I’d cleared, Golem Gambit..

Needless to say, the monsters I encountered there were naturally earth attuned golems, the difference between that dungeon and the others was day and night, although my talents still made it a cake walk, I could still feel the difference between a C-rank challenge and others..

The talent was evolved from its initial talent..

:

Description:The user can manipulate and control earth and soil, creating small-scale structures, lifting earth barriers, or generating minor tremors.

Abilities:

- Earth Lift: Lift and move small amounts of earth or soil to create barriers, holes, or simple structures.

- Soil Manipulation: Control the texture and density of soil, making it harder or softer as needed.

- Minor Tremors: Generate small-scale earthquakes or vibrations to disrupt opponents or create minor disturbances.

.....

The differences were clear.

From manipulating handfuls of sand to shifting entire terrains.

Another unreasonably powerful weapon in my arsenal, but I wasn’t complaining.

The jump in difficulty within the C-rank golem gambit made it clear just what exactly was waiting for me on Thunder Peak, the Storm Wyvern, a beast with something no less powerful than my , would definitely pose the biggest challenge for me yet.

”I’m looking forward to it.” I grinned..

Eyes finding the next addition to my list, it was the title I got after breaking the limits of my attributes.

:A being who shatters boundaries, transcends limitations, and embodies boundless potential. They push beyond what’s thought possible, achieving the impossible and redefining what’s achievable.

Effects:

-Cap Override: Ignore limitations on stat growth, allowing for exponential increases beyond normal caps.

- Amplified Might: Stat effectiveness increased by 1000%.

- Unshackled Potential: Unlock hidden potential, granting a unique bonus to a specific stat (user’s choice). Also, allows shattering skill limits, enabling mastery of skills beyond normal boundaries.

...

”Even without activating anything, I could already feel it... like the world itself had loosened its grip on me.”

I had been sulking after spending hundreds of thousands of attribute points just to raise my attributes until I saw and felt just what ridiculous effects the title had, if not anything else, just the 1000% stat effectiveness more than made up for it..

One should know, before this I’d already been a walking disaster with 900% effectiveness to my attributes..

This title bumped that figure up to 1,900%...

That’s not even counting my already ridiculously high stats..

Then you add the cap override and unshackled potential into a pot of already boiling unreasonable abilities and you get something even I wasn’t quite sure what I’d gotten..

After all, my first title had only ever activated once, but regardless, that effectiveness increase made it all worth it, at least now, I wouldn’t be completely overwhelmed by the Storm Wyvern...

”Now last but not least..” my first ever defensive skill, something I’d gotten from golem gambit as well.

This was where I’d started enjoying the perks of being Classless...

:The user summons a powerful, adaptive shield of compressed earth and stone, protecting them from physical and elemental attacks.

Abilities:

- Earthshield Projection: Create a barrier of compressed earth to absorb damage and protect allies.

- Lithoshield Reinforcement: Enhance the shield’s durability by infusing it with stone or metal, increasing its resistance to damage.

- Adaptive Defense: The shield adjusts its composition and shape to counter specific attack types, improving its effectiveness against various threats.

- Geological Anchorage: The shield can anchor itself to the earth, increasing its stability and allowing it to withstand massive forces..

An absolutely badass skill

And this one a defensive earth based one no less..

Something I had no business using since this should belong to those aligned with the Tank Classes...

But made all that redundant to me...

Pair this up with and I was pretty much ready for my date with the stormWyvern..

”Turns out, the higher the risk, the higher the reward..” the thought got me more excited for Aeternum, after all, it was supposed to be more than an academy..

Most said it was a battleground..

A place where geniuses stopped mattering..

Where monsters walked in human flesh..

Where Pride without substance goes to die..

I was eager, eager to test myself against true monstrous geniuses as only those could truly bring out the best of my system..

With those thoughts I continued on my way, my next destination being my sugar mommy aunt v’s office, because..

”Ain’t No way in hell am I trying to make 5 million worth of E-rank crystals by myself, that’s just dumb” especially considering the fact that I’d just squandered an entire day within dungeons and their academy trials were only 2 days away now...

Don’t let the 10,000 D and C rank crystals fool you..

Those were at most worth 100,000 and 1,000,000 E-rank crystals, still a far cry from my requirements.

I wasn’t about to complicate my future over some useless pride, pride wasn’t going to help annihilate those filthy demons...

So with such thoughts I made my way towards my aunt’s office, until I met HER...

”....Dante”

”Cara.....”
