Armed Train in the Apocalypse

Chapter 79: Chapter 78: Inside and Outside the Door

It’s still the bathroom, in the same place.

Yu Yue is kneeling at the door, her ample hips pressed on her ankles, holding a wet towel in her hands, wiping it across the sturdy chest, watching the clear water being squeezed out of the towel and slowly flowing down along the muscle lines.

The woman awkwardly raised her head, her gaze lingering on Su Huan’s brow bone, afraid to look down.

Biting her lip with her pearly teeth, she shivered and said, ”Just...singing is enough, right?”

Su Huan gave a light snort, reached out to lift Yu Yue’s rounded chin, ”The child is already so big, and you’re still pretending to be naive with me here?”

Water droplets slid down his arm, gathering at the elbow and dripping onto Yu Yue’s chest.

Soaking the white T-shirt.

Aunt Yu is not the kind of stunning beauty that can draw attention anywhere.

She’s a bit like braised pork, fitting whether in a high-end restaurant or on a family dining table.

Tender, sweet, pleasing to all tastes.

Among a bunch of main dishes, it wouldn’t lose its color, but if placed on a family dining table, it’d be a top-notch delicacy, satisfying and appetizing.

How could Su Huan let go of such a good dish?

Even if there were other dishes, he’d have to finish this bowl of braised pork first.

Chin pinched, forced to meet Su Huan’s half-smiling gaze, Yu Yue lowered her eyelids, dodging around, but wherever she looked, it was all Su Huan’s body, inescapable, ”Actually...”

”Are you asleep?”

Yu Jing’s faint inquiry suddenly came from the doorway.

Yu Yue’s almond eyes suddenly widened, falling into a brief daze.

’What is she doing here?’

Su Huan raised an eyebrow, but was not inclined to deal with her for the moment, not that he didn’t want to enjoy both dishes.

But doing so might result in having neither.

While thinking about how to respond, suddenly, light flickered, and the woman kneeling beside him leapt up like a rabbit, diving directly into the bathtub, pulling the bathroom screen door closed with one hand.

The bathroom was immediately shadowed in gloom.

Due to her unique ability, all actions were completed in silence.

By the time Su Huan reacted, he could already feel her ample, firm thigh pressing against his skin.

In the same kneeling position, but this time she was sitting on his leg.

”Asleep?”

The voice outside asked again.

Su Huan didn’t answer, finding the woman before him seemingly more afraid of Yu Jing discovering them together, a faint malicious amusement shone under his shadowed eyelids.

Not hearing Su Huan’s voice, Yu Jing boldly pushed the door open and came in.

In the bathtub, Yu Yue was already in a panic, with her lower body’s off-white ice silk pants completely soaked in cold water.

Yes, the conductor took another cold bath.

Hearing the voice, Yu Yue instinctively covered her mouth in panic.

Pleading shown in her eyes.

A weak voice like a mosquito fell into Su Huan’s ear, ”Please, don’t tell her...”

”Not asleep, are you in the bathroom?”

The room was very airy, and Yu Jing, not seeing Su Huan’s figure on the bed, instinctively came to the bathroom.

Seeing the tray on the floor, the cup with ice cubes inside had not completely melted.

A flash of suspicion crossed her eyes.

With only a thin wooden door separating the bathroom and room, light was leaking through the gap of the folding door, and from the inside, one could vaguely see a silhouette obscuring the lamp projected on it.

Mother and daughter, one stood outside the door, the other knelt in the bathtub inside.

Yu Yue felt her heart leap into her throat, her lips colorless as if she were a fawn cornered by a hunter, her eyes losing their sparkle.

Just pulling open the door, her daughter would see her in this state.

Her motherly image built over ten years would be utterly ruined.

Su Huan could even feel her tense muscles.

The corners of his mouth lifted, revealing sharp white teeth, mouthing two words.

’Beg me.’

The woman clung to the last lifeline, mournful tones reaching his ears.

”Please!”

Su Huan stretched out a hand, tracing the water-laden thumb across the corner of her lips, freeing her soft lips from her teeth, leaving a glistening sheen.

He said indifferently, ’This is not the way to beg, is it?’

Yu Yue seemed to understand something, her body stiffened, and a flash of panic appeared in her moist eyes.

”If you don’t speak, I’ll open the door.”

Outside the screen door, Yu Jing issued a final ultimatum.

Under the man’s half-smiling gaze, the woman gritted her teeth, laying herself down.

Looking at the black jasmine flower blooming on the water before him, Su Huan was slightly dazed.

Why the air conditioning was set low, with water temperature generally around 24°C, while the body’s internal temperature generally is between 36.5°C–37.5°C, a 13°C differential is enough to make anyone shiver.

Given the beautiful flowers she offered him, he couldn’t do nothing in return.

Just as Su Huan opened his mouth, suddenly his composure broke, ”Tsk...what are you doing?”

The voice carried a hint of irritation.

”Oh, you’re in there, why didn’t you say something?”

Yu Jing asked quizzically.

Exhaling deeply, Su Huan’s tone returned to calm, his fingers brushing over the water’s black flowers, ”Soaking in the bath, do you want to help me scrub?”

”I wouldn’t mind.”

Yu Jing’s reply was very straightforward.

Su Huan frowned slightly, his five fingers descending into the water, soothingly stroking his head.

”Are you done with your work?”

”Yes, the purifier has been checked, there won’t be issues. We should get results on the new materials tomorrow.”

The two began discussing work across the bathroom door.

Yu Yue remained hidden underwater.

Three minutes quickly passed, and Su Huan squinted, knowing despite the Evolver constitution, underwater activity consumed more energy, and Yu Yue should’ve reached her limit.

”But you’re not sleeping this late, just to tell me this?”

Su Huan asked calmly.

”Just checking if the conductor needs any services.”

Yu Jing also answered quite nonchalantly.

But the words startled Yu Yue out of the water, gasping softly, her almond eyes filled with shock and complexity.

She didn’t expect her usually obedient daughter to be like this.

Su Huan helped wring out the water from her clothes, noting as Yu Yue’s figure resembled a white girl from a cold region, with muscles and bones encased in soft fat, her curves smooth and full, every inch of skin plush and firm without any hollows or discomfort.

Like a sculpture of the Three Graces, not overly ample, seemingly flat but with a softness that would sink beneath five fingers.

The woman pressed down on Su Huan’s mischievous hand, her expression tense.

Squinting slightly, Su Huan, barely having helped her out of a tight spot, wondered this was how she repaid the conductor?

His lips curled up slightly.

A voice laden with moisture drifted from the bathroom.

”I do indeed need some service.”
