Chapter 3086: Chapter 3087: Traveler of the Wilds

Angel actually heard the murmuring of the vine demoness just now, and he also knew the vine demoness was asking him questions, but he didn’t choose to respond.

Because once he chose to respond, it meant he was positioning himself as a super-grade existence above civilization.

Although the Wilderness of Dreams was born because of him, he never felt he had the qualifications to lord over the Wilderness of Dreams.

The birth of the Wilderness of Dreams is a coincidence, while the emergence of tree civilization is inevitable.

Those who stand above civilization will eventually be swallowed by civilization.

Angel can be a pusher, can become a guide, but he will never become a ruler.

Of course, he might have overthought it, but even without positioning himself, he didn’t intend to talk to the vine demoness with the identity of ”above the mother tree.”

However, the vine demoness chose to let the first generation of dream plant fairies have contact with humans, which can be considered a kind of goodwill. And Angel also feels that there is actually no conflict of interest between humans and dream plant fairies, and temporarily putting aside the civilization dispute might bring new changes.

So, after contemplating for a long time, Angel decided to do a little something.

...

Angel opened the Mother Tree Interlinker, but he did not go to the tree group chat interface; instead, he arrived at another section: the Mother Tree Forum.

The current Mother Tree Forum is already much more lively than in the past.

Many non-confidential papers are published on the forum.

Moreover, the tree group development team also divided two distinctly different areas based on different types.

An area not involving the extraordinary, and areas closely related to the extraordinary.

Don’t think the area not involving the extraordinary is deserted; it is actually quite lively. Many popular posts have dense comments below them.

One of the posts, crowned with a standard of excellence, is Jon’s ”Tea Sutra - Guidelines and Key Points of Tea Cultivation.”

The first popular comment inside is Ironclad Granny’s eloquent expression of her thoughts.

In summary, just one sentence: gained a lot.

Even Ironclad Granny gave such a review, indicating that the posts here are not unpopular... even if they are truly niche knowledge, they will become very popular after Ironclad Granny replies.

Of course, the majority of posts here are still related to city construction.

Among them, the hottest post is undoubtedly the one published by Jon.

Jon has detailed descriptions from city construction, city defense to various supporting facilities, as well as his insights into the exterior and interior of buildings.

These types of posts all have long comments.

Even Wizard Rhein has discussed with Jon in the comments, which says a lot.

It can be said that maybe there are still people who don’t know Jon in Originheart City, but in New City, almost every Transcendent has heard of Jon’s name.

Maybe Jon has yet to achieve much in the Transcendent path. But in the domain he knows, he can be considered a master.

And another area related to the extraordinary is actually not that lively, mainly because most people in New City are apprentices, who can’t even digest knowledge by themselves, how can they post formal posts?

If they want to inquire about practice questions, going to the tree group is faster.

This has led to relatively barren posts in the extraordinary area.

However, this does not mean this section will remain desolate forever. The current situation is merely due to the lack of participants. When the Tea Party starts and attracts the attention of a large number of wizards, there will naturally be heat.

If this section can form a consensus among the extraordinary world in the future, gather different extraordinary topics, core papers, the forum’s development will be unstoppable.

However, reaching such a consensus is not easy.

But overall, if the Wilderness of Dreams can really integrate into the daily life of the extraordinary world after its debut, the advantages are still significant, after all, he controls the platform.

The current platform advantage is not yet hot, but what Angel plans to do today is both to try to change the relationship between humans and dream plant fairies and to try fueling its future glow.

Angel extended a mental tendril and integrated into the forum.

After a while, a new post entered the editing stage ——

”Wilderness Traveler News, Issue One.”

Yes, Angel plans to run a periodical on the forum.

One of the biggest advantages of controlling the platform: to prioritize defining what is authority.

And the current so-called authoritative content is published by magazine periodicals, so Angel also decided to get involved in this.

In reality, he definitely can’t get a piece of the pie, but the Wilderness of Dreams is different.

Not to mention other effects, at the very least, one should feel: related content to the Wilderness of Dreams, ”Wilderness Traveler News” is the authority.

However, it’s hard to form a newspaper alone, the first issue he publishes is actually defined as: column in his mind.

In reality, it is a column, but he decided to define it as a periodical, allowing more room for action.

As for why it’s named ”Wilderness Traveler”... no reason, just a random thought of a name waster. Anyway, names can be changed anytime before formally going public.

Main article: ”Civilization Confrontation.”

Angel originally wanted to use a eye-catching title to grab attention, such as ”Shocking! Humans and Dream Plant Fairies’ XXX,” ”Unbelievable, Tree Civilization XXX”... but later thought about it and decided against it.

A periodical attracted by sensationalism is mostly already in decline. He, a newly rising bright sun, using sensationalism is too detrimental.

And the main article content of this first issue, undoubtedly, Angel plans to write about the dream plant fairies, the mother tree, and the tree civilization behind them.

To change, one must start with understanding. This is the reason Angel writes this main article.

Actually, for the core high-levels, the existence of the mother tree is not a secret.

But even if people know the mother tree, they may not understand the tree civilization derived from it.

Angel now, from an objective perspective, begins to portray the current state of civilization of dream plant fairies and their views on human civilization.

In the end, Angel also slightly elevated the value, mentioning a bit about the opposition of civilizations.

However, it’s just one or two old-fashioned truths.

In this aspect, he doesn’t know more than other wizards. Many wizards who participated in frontline conquest have a deeper understanding of the opposition of civilizations.

Moreover, the more civilizations they have seen, the clearer they are about the possible links between civilizations.

In this aspect, Angel is far below other wizards.

Angel focused on introducing the Tree Civilization and viewing certain value issues from the distinctly different perspectives of humans and Dream Plant Fairies.

Of course, Angel did not elaborate on some overly sensitive content, and he didn’t go into much detail about the first generation of Dream Plant Fairies either.

Because the more detailed the introduction, the easier it is to cause division.

When considering a civilization, it’s better to view it as a whole.

After writing several thousand words, Angel finally completed the main issue draft. To increase the incentive for reading, he also strategically arranged some illustrations, most of which featured vast greenery and the forms of a few Dream Plant Fairies familiar to humans.

After finishing the main issue, Angel turned the page to prepare to write several supplements.

Angel divided the content of the supplements into three parts. The first part mainly describes some aspects of the ecology of the Wilderness of Dreams, writing about everything from the geographical environment to biological diversity.

In this part, Angel also added many characteristic images of the Wilderness of Dreams for illustrative reference.

Deep ravines, enormous fungal mountains, hollow centers of lakes, Hanging Tassel Rainforest...

Under these images, Angel left a note saying ”to be named.”

Angel could randomly name these spectacular sights himself, but after considering it, he decided to hand over the naming rights to the real ”Travelers” and ”Pioneers.”

Only by naming them personally can there be a stronger sense of belonging.

The second part of the supplement has nothing to do with the Wilderness of Dreams. Angel positioned this part as a ”dry goods sharing section” or ”knowledge points.”

Magazines like ”Forest of Time” are considered authoritative because they genuinely share substantial content within.

Many cutting-edge papers, novel Spell Techniques, and various special Psychic Models are included and shared.

This kind of sharing does not necessarily mean sharing all the knowledge points; more often it’s just enough to broaden the horizons of the general wizards.

Even so, readers gain significant benefits and are willing to consider it as authoritative.

Angel wants ”Wilderness Traveler News” to also be regarded as authoritative in the Wilderness of Dreams, so naturally, it should include some substantial content.

According to Angel’s plan, this section would ideally collaborate with White Gull Academy behind the ”Mirror” journal, but now in its inaugural issue, there’s no need for so many formalities in its hastily crafted form.

Angel took some of the practical Tricks from his previous creation of ”Basic Tricks. Modified” as the main features of this section.

Though they are just modified basic Tricks, the content is not insignificant. Especially, Angel selected universal Tricks, which are extremely valuable for those disciplines with few Tricks. Learning one more could potentially be lifesaving at a critical moment.

Even for Official Wizards, there is value in reference.

Apprentices learn the technique, while Official Wizards look at the ”thought process”, and the clever ideas in modified Tricks can certainly be applied to their own Spell Techniques.

Therefore, putting these modified Tricks up is not perfunctory; rather, it’s a significant benefit.

The next is the third part of the supplement.

For this part, Angel plans to add some ”intelligence.”

Originally, he wanted to create a Stitching Beast, including both authority and gossip, but gossip is hard to verify and often backfires.

Perhaps someone in the future will start a gossip magazine in the Wilderness of Dreams to stir up a publicity storm, but Angel does not intend to be that initiator.

Therefore, he ultimately chose to include ”intelligence.”

Intelligence, from a certain perspective, can also attract gossip fans. In the short term, intelligence is the best way to rush traffic.

If the intelligence has a high degree of credibility and leans towards being true and useful to wizards, the speed of gaining fans will be faster.

For example, if Angel released intelligence such as the possible location of the relics of a certain Legendary Wizard, and it turns out to be true, the heat ”Wilderness Traveler” would gain would be unprecedented.

It’s just unfortunate that Angel doesn’t have such a source of intelligence.

So, he plans to hand over this intelligence section to others to manage in the future. The Barbarian Cave surely has its own sources, and occasionally selecting a few pieces from this intelligence can sustain this section.

However, these are matters for the future; Angel still has to write the intelligence for the first issue of the ”Wilderness Traveler.”

After thinking it over, Angel decided to include some high-profile intelligence.

Intelligence that is challenging for others to verify —

”Near the regular entrance on the eastern side of the Snow Dominion, Void currents have appeared, duration unpredictable, power unpredictable; if any wizard is heading to the Snow Dominion, it is best to detour through other entrances.”

”In the blank domain bordering the Druna Plane, there are suspected sightings of Outer Gods, harvesting nearby Transcendent beings.”

”Near the Pure Water World, there are suspected Void trade caravans from the Origin World. If there’s a need for trading, one might go for a visit.”

”In the dark domain outside the Void of the Lofte World, there is a Blood Tree that cannot be gazed upon directly, do not approach.”

”Shoun World...”

Angel wrote down several pieces of intelligence at once, all of which he obtained from the Void Travelers.

In terms of authenticity, there is certainly no problem, considering these were witnessed firsthand by the Void Travelers.

Nevertheless, he believes that if he publishes these, not many would believe it, as the intelligence involves various locations in the Void and many of the intelligence pieces are ”time-sensitive.”

Just like the Void trade caravans outside the Pure Water World, if someone actually sought them out, by the time they arrived, the trade caravan would probably have already left.

Therefore, even though Angel knows these pieces of intelligence are real, he also understands their strategic value is not high.

However, these pieces of intelligence do indeed seem high-profile.

At least, currently, there is no organization in the Southern Domain capable of obtaining such clear real-time Void intelligence, not even the Frost Moon Alliance.

By putting this intelligence in the first issue of the ”Wilderness Traveler,” readers cannot verify it, thus making it difficult to refute the intelligence’s validity, leaving them to passively accept that the intelligence ”might” be true.

And that is enough.

As long as the first shot is fired, the rest does not concern him.

As for those who might inquire about the source of the intelligence, Angel is entirely unfazed.

If the intelligence source were revealed, then what would be the point of issuing intelligence?

Besides, the first issue of ”Wilderness Traveler” is also for internal release, and outsiders won’t see it; as for the future, when the Wilderness of Dreams is opened, whether people from other organizations will come ”archaeologically,” that is also a matter for the future. By then, the intelligence’s ”timeliness” will have passed, and archaeology would be meaningless.

If not for the inexplicable moral obsession in Angel’s heart, he could even fabricate some intelligence to publish.

Anyway, Angel plans to let it go perfunctorily this way.

The main and other sections of the supplement are important; this intelligence section is not important.
