Warlock Apprentice

The first human that the little curly hair encountered was Sir Sabel.

He could have just like his other little companions, bypassed the watchtower and flown into the human city along with the green mist. But he didn’t want that; he wanted to intimidate the humans from the start!

There was some inherited information in the mind of the little curly hair, documenting the military branches of the Dream Plant Fairy civilization. In their culture, those who could guard the walls were certainly the strongest warriors of the tribe.

Therefore, in the little curly hair’s mind, the human standing on the watchtower, whose features were still unclear from afar, should also be one of the stronger ones among humans. Though picking the tallest among the weak, he could barely serve as a target for establishing dominance!

With this in mind, the little curly hair took several deep breaths to prepare himself mentally, and then flew out from behind the tree where he was hiding, deciding to face the person on the wall directly!

Originally, Sabel was observing the changes that the green mist brought to the earth, but the appearance of the little curly hair naturally caught his attention.

When the gaze of the human opposite locked onto the little curly hair, he vaguely felt something was amiss.

Aren’t humans all weak? Why did the mere gaze of the person across make him feel a slight tremble? Even a cool sensation was already rising from his spine.

It must be an illusion!

Don’t scare yourself.

The little curly hair forcibly suppressed the sense of dread in his heart and continued to fly upward.

Before, the little curly hair had been watching the person on the watchtower from afar, only able to vaguely make out a black silhouette. Now that he flew up towards the watchtower, as the distance closed in, the little curly hair finally saw the true form of the human opposite!

Is that... a human?

How is it different from the information sent by the King? Is that really a human?

The figure standing on the watchtower had clothes that were nearly shredded, with half of his face covered in entangled muscle fascia, which was twitching as if countless insects were crawling on it.

Not just the face, half of his body had also transformed into countless horrifying tentacles, these tentacles had circular suckers, with rings of sharp teeth visible on them.

The tentacles were originally still, but as the little curly hair approached, they immediately sprang to life, like a terrifying magical creature in The Nest encountering the freshest delicacy.

Drip, drip—

It was the sound of saliva dripping from the suckers on the tentacles.

With the oppressive aura Sabel purposely created, the little curly hair had only one thought in his mind—

Scary, so scary!!

The emerald green eyes of the little curly hair recorded his journey of emotions. His eyes were originally elliptical, carrying cunning and pride, calculating how to establish dominance over humans; but when locked by Sir Sabel’s gaze, the elliptical eyes became vertical pupils, a form of alertness; upon seeing Sabel’s true form, the vertical pupils got thinner, which was not just being alert but being frightened by that horrifying appearance.

Finally, when Sabel’s aura pressed over, the little curly hair’s heart, which had already retreated, could no longer hold on.

The emerald eyes were instantly covered with red threads. Fearful tears fell, uncontrollable.

The little curly hair was so scared he cried, and cried a stormy beauty of tears, which filled the mind of Sabel with questions.

”What’s up with this alien clan, why is it crying?” Sabel frowned, completely unaware of making a child cry: ”Or maybe, crying for the alien clan doesn’t mean the same thing it does for humans, and it’s actually a form of provocation?”

But if it was really provocation, this aura is too weak, right?

Sabel pondered a bit and decided to approach the little curly hair at close quarters. Using a tentacle to lightly point on the ground, a surge of powerful force brought him into the air.

Like a cannonball, he dived fiercely in front of the little curly hair.

This terrifying aura, sudden approach, and the gale it brought with it, scared the little curly hair so much that he didn’t dare make a sound, tears flowed silently.

”What species are you? How many companions do you have? And why are you crying?”

Sabel’s questions did not get answers from the little curly hair, not because he didn’t want to answer, but because he didn’t understand the little curly hair’s words at all.

The little curly hair’s words were in a language Sabel had never heard before. He seemed to speak with his mouth, yet it resembled some strange fluctuation, a fluctuation that lips and tongue couldn’t produce.

Even Sabel, after activating the Demonic Fiend, barely managed to capture this fluctuation.

Sabel couldn’t understand and could only use gestures to communicate.

But the little curly hair, who was so scared now, couldn’t dare to look directly at Sabel, let alone think about what the gestures meant.

Unable to communicate, Sabel felt a bit in trouble.

Just as Sabel was pondering a strategy, he happened to glimpse below, noticing something seemingly growing where the little curly hair’s tears fell on the ground.

Sabel, with curiosity, slowly descended from high above, landing on the ground.

This was the entrance to the inner city, where Sabel, as the city defense captain, had patrolled countless times. He knew clearly that it was an empty area here, without even the popular ”stone plant sculptures” on the main road.

But now, there appeared plants here.

Clusters of dark green thorns, like blooming chrysanthemums, spread over the ground.

These thorns looked somewhat like... the thorns on the alien’s back? Upon closer inspection, Sabel confirmed they were indeed identical to the dark green thorns on the little curly hair’s back, which resembled spider legs.

”Did you spawn these thorns...” Sabel was about to ask the little curly hair when he looked up only to see the little curly hair crying and screaming, rushing towards the city outskirts at high speed.

Sabel hovered puzzled in the air, watching the little curly hair run into the wooded area outside the city at lightning speed, disappearing from sight as if a beast was chasing him.

The air left a faint scent of plants and a cry whose meaning was unknown.

”Why did it suddenly retreat? The alien, how strange.” Sabel frowned tightly, not knowing what happened.

Meanwhile, Angel at the top of Sky Tower also witnessed this scene.

Sabel did not understand what the little curly hair’s last cries meant, but Angel knew very well—

”Humans... are so scary!”

At this moment, Angel also found it both amusing and exasperating, as this was considered the first official contact between humans and the Dream Plant Fairy tribe, resulting in the little curly hair being frightened away.

Angel, through the God’s Eye, confirmed that the little curly hair indeed ran away, heading at full speed towards the mother tree’s direction, unlikely to return anytime soon.

Angel shook his head, as it seemed the first meeting between the two great civilizations would end hastily like this.

However, it didn’t matter, since the little curly hair wasn’t the only one who came to Originheart City.

Angel cast his gaze towards the south of the city, where another Dream Plant Fairy was also attempting to approach humans.
