Warlock Apprentice

Frode had been pondering before, that if these fairies themselves possessed some strength, the residents of Originheart City in the Dream Realm would be even more defenseless against them.

Now, this reality truly materialized before his eyes.

The essence of the fairies’ lives began evolving under the nourishment of the tree’s energy.

What is called the evolution of life essence, described in the words of wizards, is actually an energy level leap transition. In other words, it is the elevation of one’s own tier!

The Vine Demoness, the Treant, and the young man floating mid-air saw a sudden surge in momentum, which was not just the strengthening of their aura; their power was rapidly increasing as well!

Even though Frode, in the Wilderness of Dreams, couldn’t employ any magic power, making it difficult to discern their power levels, he was, after all, once an apprentice of the dream system, giving him a natural sensitivity to creatures of the Dream Realm.

Just like now, he could clearly sense that among the group of fairies, the one whose power was rising the fastest was undoubtedly the Vine Demoness.

If the Vine Demoness was previously as powerful as an ordinary person, now her power had increased at least tenfold! Even in the real Dream Realm, her power would no longer be at the bottom. Furthermore, her momentum was still increasing!

Frode’s face turned pale; as of now, the Vine Demoness is already comparable to an intermediate apprentice. Given the current strength of Originheart City, probably only Sir Sabel, who had merged with a Demonic Fiend, could barely match her. If her power continues to grow, perhaps she alone could crush Originheart City.

And it’s not just the Vine Demoness; as Frode glanced at the other fairies, their strength was also sharply rising.

With the evolution of life essence, they have also evolved some other special abilities. For instance, Frode could see with his naked eye, some fairies had faint droplets of water floating around them, which already involved elemental control.

Seeing this group of fairies whose strength was continuously rising, Frode’s heart grew both anxious and uneasy.

Before this, he was worried that the Demonic Fiend would become a great enemy to Originheart City. But now it seems, compared to those Demonic Fiends, these uncontrollable fairies might be the biggest threat.

While Frode was deeply worried, a wave of air came from the direction of the tree.

The cause of the airwave was the distant Vine Demoness, stretching those vines below her waist that had begun to turn crimson. As these vines moved slightly, they started to break the bonds of the air, producing heavy airwaves.

”Another breakthrough,” Frode murmured quietly as he looked at the Vine Demoness.

Previously, the Vine Demoness was probably similar to an intermediate apprentice, but now she had steadily surpassed an ordinary Second Level apprentice, with her power aiming for a Third Level apprentice!

Although the tree’s energy was already depleting, at this rate, Frode even felt that it might not be long before this Vine Demoness reached Wizard Level.

Frode dared not imagine the impact of having a Wizard Level fairy in the Wilderness of Dreams.

And this, all of it is the consequence of his inability to bear the authority.

Frode’s sense of guilt reached its peak at this moment.

As Frode was caught in a whirlpool of self-blame, a strange and grand force suddenly descended from the sky!

This force was like a domain field, Fuyi’s arrival, suppressing all energy, including the green energy floating out from inside the great tree.

Frode also felt this strange domain field and temporarily set aside his emotions, raising his head to look around.

Under the suppression of this domain field, all the fairies on the opposite side, including the Vine Demoness, stopped absorbing the tree’s energy, and the surrounding energy shifted from active to inert.

A hint of delight flashed in Frode’s eyes as he looked toward Angel.

In his mind, such a wide-range suppression could only be done by Angel. But to his surprise, when he looked at Angel, the latter did nothing, only fixing his gaze on another—Sanders.

...

Because Frode had invested so much emotion in Originheart City, when he saw these countless fairies, he continually harbored a feeling of depression and anxiety, fearing their existence might impact Originheart City.

However, Sanders was not like Frode; he held no resistance to all that lay before him. On the contrary, witnessing the birth of the fairy race—a scene almost impossible to observe in the outside world—gave him a faint sense of understanding.

But as these fairies started to grow stronger under the influence of the tree’s energy, Sanders finally harbored some caution in his heart.

Not because he feared this group of fairies would attack Originheart City, but because he was worried that after their power increased, these as-yet undisciplined fairy races would ravage the Wilderness of Dreams.

Sanders didn’t care about Originheart City, but he highly valued the Wilderness of Dreams. Because it was the most unique and vast Nightmare Realm he had encountered.

Other Nightmare Realms were interlayer spaces between the Nightmare Realm and the real world.

Whereas the Wilderness of Dreams was the interlayer space between the Nightmare Realm and the Dream Realm, a realm of illusion!

For Sanders, the research value of this Nightmare Realm was extremely high, and he didn’t want to see powerful fairies dividing the Wilderness of Dreams.

Hence, when Sanders saw the Vine Demoness advancing towards Third Level apprentice strength, he became vigilant.

He didn’t want the fairies to become overly dominant, but how to stop the fairies from advancing? Sanders originally intended to discuss with Angel to see if they could suppress the fairies’ strength.

However, before Sanders could broach the topic, he himself found the key to suppressing the fairies’ strength—

Authority: ”Energy Level Limitation”!

This was the first authority Sanders had obtained; at that time, he aimed to possess an authority that could bring wizard strength into the Wilderness of Dreams. As a result, he acquired such an authority.

The main effect is to dominate the strength level of creatures in the Wilderness of Dreams.

Since the Wilderness of Dreams currently had no energy system, this authority naturally became unusable.

Only by obtaining a new authority to establish an energy system will the ”Energy Level Limitation” find its place.

Although the energy system of the Wilderness of Dreams had yet to form, this group of fairies, due to the ”Tree Civilization,” possessed another form of life evolution.

And these fairies also counted as creatures of the Wilderness of Dreams.

The ”Energy Level Limitation” that Sanders had been unable to use was naturally applicable to them!

With this in mind, Sanders unhesitatingly activated the ”Energy Level Limitation” that had always been hidden in the Mind Space.

Earlier, using the energy level limitation had no effect, but this time, with a clear target, the energy level limitation was immediately triggered!

In an instant, a powerful domain field descended from the sky.

When Sanders was within this authority domain field, even without using his eyes, he could sense countless light points flickering before him. Each light point represented a being with an energy level—which is to say, a fairy.

Sanders could clearly see that the fairies’ power was swelling incessantly due to the tree’s energy. Frode’s judgment was correct, the most powerful among them, the Vine Demoness, had reached the peak of a Second Level apprentice. With more energy, she could break through to Third Level apprentice strength.

However, Sanders did not give the Vine Demoness this opportunity. With a thought, he lightly plucked the chord of authority.

The spontaneously generated energy restraint was immediately imposed upon the entire race of fairies.
