Warlock Apprentice

As Frode was feeling anxious and worrying about this and that, Sanders spoke again: ”Although for those living here, such as the residents of Originheart City, it will have a great impact, I still believe that eventually, these effects will calm down over time.”

Angel: ”Why does Mentor think so?”

Sanders glanced at the complicated expression on Frode’s face, then looked at Angel, seeming to understand something, and chuckled lightly: ”Because they are fundamentally not on the same level.”

Frode raised his head, looking at Sanders with doubt in his eyes: Illusion Demon, are you implying that humans in Originheart City are no match for the Dream Plant Fairy?

Although Frode himself thought this, if even Sanders said so, then things might truly have reached an irreversible point.

However, Sanders offered an unexpected answer: ”Humans are far stronger than the Dream Plant Fairy.”

After throwing out such an answer, Sanders didn’t hold back and explained: ”Although humans from Originheart City, when looked at individually, appear weaker than the Dream Plant Fairy, individual strength doesn’t represent everything.”

”Moreover, individual strength is not a major problem; there are various ways to foster growth, such as relying on the Demonic Fiend, or if more people join the Wilderness of Dreams in the future, it will also enhance the overall combat power of humans.”

Sanders’ answer made Frode nod internally. Indeed, this point was correct; although currently weaker, there is still hope for the future.

However, there’s a solution to individual strength; what should be done if the Dream Plant Fairies launch a civilizational invasion?

Frode’s doubts were soon answered.

”Regarding civilization issues, they are even further apart in terms of level. Even if the people of Originheart City are not Transcendents, but just ordinary people, still, behind them stands the Radiance through all ages, whose influence is far-reaching, suppressing numerous Wizards’ Realm civilizations across the Pan-Dimensional Plane!”

Because in this universe, only the wizard civilization is participated in and developed by humans, and only the Wizards’ Realm truly has humans. So, in a sense, the wizard civilization also represents human civilization!

This is a human civilization that has been sedimented for countless years, where the essence has been refined from the dross throughout the long river of history!

Faced with a loosely structured civilization that is just one day old, whose settlement foundation has not even been completely stabilized, and there are worries about civilizational invasion?

This is simply a laughable issue that requires no thought.

If human civilization doesn’t even have this bit of confidence, how can they call themselves humans?

Perhaps the Dream Plant Fairy will, to some extent, influence the lives and progress of humans in the Wilderness of Dreams, but they absolutely cannot gain any advantage in a civilizational clash.

There is even a possibility that civilization itself might be assimilated.

”So, time is on the side of humans, not on the side of the Dream Plant Fairy.” Sanders paused, looking at Frode, whose eyes transitioned from initial bewildered worry to serene understanding, clearly taking in Sanders’ words.

”As of now, the Dream Plant Fairy will certainly affect the existing structure of the Wilderness of Dreams, but I think this influence, at least from my perspective, has benefits that far outweigh the drawbacks.”

As Sanders said this, he turned his gaze towards the entrance of the low valley.

Pieces of green mist floated in, influenced by the mother tree, falling into the earth, and in an instant, seedlings broke through the soil.

Just because the energy of the mother tree was somewhat weakened, these seedlings did not immediately grow into mature plants like before.

However, at this moment, several Dream Plant Flower Demons, about the size of butterflies, came humming a song without words to the places where the seedlings grew. Some colorful light spots fell from their bodies, and these seedlings, as if receiving nutrients, instantly grew taller, becoming mature plants.

As they flew across, seeds embedded in the soil experienced a growth surge. Besides the seeds in the green mist, they were also spreading their own seeds, and if they lingered somewhere for a few seconds, vibrant clusters of flowers would surely bloom there.

In just a few minutes, the barren low valley was filled with flowers and large trees.

Frode also witnessed this scene, and indeed, as Sanders said, it seems from now on, the Dream Plant Fairies can quickly make barren land flourish, which brings far more benefits to the Wilderness of Dreams than harm.

Thinking back to what Sanders previously said about ”long-term vision” and ”civilizational confidence,” Frode felt much better at heart. However, he still felt some guilt for not successfully assuming authority.

”Though Frode failed to assume the authority this time, I did get a very useful data, which greatly aids me in calculating the success rate of assuming new authority.” Sanders squinted slightly: ”Besides, I have a small hypothesis in mind.”

Angel: ”What hypothesis?”

”Once I confirm this test, I will tell you.”

”However, I can give a little preview; this hypothesis relates to the success rate of my assuming new authority. If next time I succeed in assuming the authority, then this hypothesis could be true.” Sanders paused, looking at Frode: ”If this hypothesis is confirmed, I think it would allow Frode to try assuming new authority again, and his success rate might reach ninety percent.”

Upon hearing this, Angel’s eyes suddenly brightened: ”When do you plan to assume new authority again, Mentor?”

Frode had failed twice in assuming new authority. Even if Frode wasn’t showing it now, Angel knew very well that it had a huge impact on him, possibly even losing the courage to try assuming new authority again. If Sanders’ hypothesis is confirmed, and Frode successfully merges with new authority, it could quickly pull Frode out of this spiral of depression.

”I need to digest the new data I obtained this time, and re-adjust and calculate the formulas, so it might take about three days.”

Angel thought for a moment, realizing that although Frode wasn’t severely harmed by his failure to assume authority, he would still need some time to adjust his state; three days should be enough.

After discussing the matters regarding new authority, Sanders suddenly shifted the topic back to the Tree Civilization.

”Compared to the issue of the Dream Plant Fairy, what I’m actually more concerned about is the Tree Civilization itself.”

As Sanders said this, his expression became very solemn: ”I used to think that this special Nightmare Realm had great research value until I saw the birth of this Tree Civilization.”

”This has already transcended the scope of the Nightmare Realm; the beginning of civilization and the pioneering of a continent are simply like the primordial seed of a True World.”

Sanders felt that the potential of the Wilderness of Dreams might be even more terrifying than he had imagined.
