Three Towers Game

Chapter 1459: Chapter 469: Strange Game

The elevator is very large.

It covers an area of a full ten square meters.

As Wen Xishu entered the elevator, he felt a slight dizziness in his mind.

An eerie fatigue arose from the depths of his heart.

Looking at the scene before him, he inexplicably felt a sense of familiarity.

[The game begins, please choose your initial weapon for this round.]

There are several exquisite weapon racks placed in the elevator. Surprisingly, there are quite a few initial weapons on the racks.

Tachi, Great Tachi. Long spear, dagger, Fangtian Huaji, hand axe, kunai, throwing knife, knuckles, ebony staff...

When Wen Xishu walked to the Tachi rack, he felt a pang of confusion.

What’s going on?

The Tachi is a Wooden Sword.

The description of the Wooden Sword is like this.

[An old Black Wood Blade.]

[Item Level: White.]

[Description: Still quite painful when hit on a person, at least more painful than a feather duster, but not recommended for hitting children, because children will steal it and show it off at school.]

[Unlock method: Available initially.]

Similarly, there are also old ebony knuckles, old ebony long spear, old ebony staff, and dilapidated standard dagger...

These things are available from the start.

The description content seems to be the type of junk beginner weapons.

But what’s strange is that the throwing knife, kunai, and Great Tachi also have the same prefix—old, dilapidated, etc.

But they are not weapons that can be obtained from the start.

For example, the Great Tachi, it is described as: obtained by killing fifteen goblin gladiators.

Wen Xishu was shocked.

”It shouldn’t be, I just arrived, how could these things be unlocked?”

As for the kunai, the unlock condition is to use stealth and pass through the ninth level without triggering an alarm to obtain the kunai.

The old standard kunai can unlock a low-level ninjutsu, Short-Distance Leap.

Wen Xishu picked up the Great Tachi.

The Great Tachi fits his warrior philosophy.

The description of this item is as follows:

”Compared to the Tachi, it is obviously heavier with a wider attack range, which reduces attack speed, but it must be said, it really does hurt when it hits someone, and there’s a small chance to stun a person.”

Attribute: Attack speed reduced by 20%, but with a 2% chance to stun the opponent for 0.5 seconds.

When Wen Xishu picked it up, he found it really quite heavy.

”Hmm... it seems like my attributes have decreased, at least in the game, it seems like my Slaughter Tower panel has been sealed. This should be some kind of rule restriction, preventing me from using my own power.”

”If this were the Deceit Tower...”

”My Anti-Magic Value might be able to suppress this rule seal.”

”But this isn’t the Deceit Tower, this is the Three-Tower Battlefield.”

”I can’t go by other people’s rules, but right now, I indeed have no further clues.”

Wen Xishu’s strength lies in his ability to continuously burst, like a Demon King with multiple phases.

But in the initial phase, his regular state is indeed very weak. Not as strong as a Red House.

Being sealed by a gamer using rules, in the end, is because the values are too low.

If the old principal were here, he would probably blow up this skyscraper with a single punch, even when suppressed.

But Wen Xishu wasn’t in a panic.

”Since it’s a game, there must be a way to find an unorthodox path to victory.”

Wen Xishu noticed that his skill bar was completely cleared.

It was obvious that he hadn’t lost his original abilities, but these abilities were temporarily unusable due to some rule suppression.

When Wen Xishu stared at the skill bar, ”translation” appeared.

[You have lost all items and skills, but the great Divine Knife is still here; at least in the realm of the game, no rule can suppress this knife. Congratulations, at least you can see some guidance from the Game Master, please collect memory fragments to retrieve your memories as much as possible. Also, try to collect clues to retrieve your belongings—skills, items. And break the cycle.]

Collect memory fragments to retrieve his memory, collect clues to retrieve items, skills.

Wen Xishu felt puzzled again.

”Have I... lost my memory?”

If the statement was about collecting memory fragments to retrieve items and skills, Wen Xishu could understand.

But this statement seems to indicate that retrieving memory is just unlocking memory.

Retrieving items and skills requires collecting additional clues.

What is breaking the cycle about?

Wen Xishu felt a very subtle sense of strangeness in his heart, leading to a faint fear.

”Am I... trapped in some kind of cycle?”

He picked up the Great Tachi.

”Should you choose to start with the Great Tachi?”

Wen Xishu could hardly wait to delve into the game.

”This is it.”

The elevator began to ascend.

About fifteen seconds later, the elevator stopped, and Wen Xishu remembered, the skyscraper soared into the clouds...

He couldn’t help but think, fifteen seconds a floor, even without considering clearing time, it would probably take a long time to get to the top.

The elevator doors slowly opened.

What unfolded before Wen Xishu’s eyes was surprisingly a vast forest.

But the forest was clearly gamified.

With 16-bit style meadows and caves, high color saturation, background pixel clouds looping. NPCs moved in an 8-direction grid pattern.

[Clear this level, and according to your choice, two strength potions will drop.]

[Great warrior, congratulations on embarking on your journey again, this time, our opponents are no longer slimes but formidable goblin warriors!]

[Current level mission goal: Kill the goblins you encounter along the way. If you encounter a weapon-wielding, handsome goblin, kill it to directly enter the elevator leading to the third floor.]

Wen Xishu frowned.
