Three Towers Game

Chapter 29: Chapter 22: The Bunker’s Future Wen Xishu

Preparing in advance for what the leaders want to do, this is Sha Ruijing’s way of survival.

Don’t look at him now as just an interviewer, but as someone who doesn’t frequently climb the towers and relies purely on his ability to handle affairs within the towers, and coming from a poor family, Sha Ruijing’s career path seems like it’s on cheat mode.

He knows how to get things done.

As an interviewer for a department under the Bunker Security Bureau, responsible for identifying and judging tower affiliations for the Bureau, Sha Ruijing has a good relationship with every colleague.

But most impressively, he is very adept at seizing opportunities.

Not long ago, Sha Ruijing signed a confidentiality agreement that made his heart race, and then... he began interviewing the young man mentioned in the agreement.

Meanwhile, his leader’s leader, Director Liu Jinsen of Division Two, even personally requested him to answer the other’s doubts as much as possible.

If it were someone else, they might think, a death row inmate about to die in the Deceit Tower, is it really worth it...

But not Sha Ruijing.

This interviewer, who left a deep impression on Wen Xishu at their first meeting, had his own little calculations in mind long before.

If Wen Xishu died, naturally, it wouldn’t matter.

But if Wen Xishu didn’t die, would it represent a series of clashes among big figures in the Bunker?

If he deployed certain things in advance, could he gain the upper hand? Play a crucial role at critical moments?

So Sha Ruijing began to think, the person whom Director Liu specifically instructed him to take care of...

If he survived the Deceit Tower, should his achievements be publicized?

After all, surviving doesn’t necessarily mean the death penalty can be offset.

The atrocities of the Wen Family are so terrifying, to offset them, perhaps one needs to bring substantial resources.

That’s very difficult.

If there are no resources... then how does Mr. Liu plan to save Wen Xishu?

Of course through public opinion, those who explore the Deceit Tower contribute to the Bunker no matter what.

So the matter must be exaggerated, it must be thoroughly publicized.

Sha Ruijing once said, doing good deeds without leaving a name is fine, but you must keep a diary, and the diary must be exposed.

He firmly believes that even sweet wine fears a deep alley, and a good book fears no votes.

So Sha Ruijing also found some of his friends in the Bunker.

These friends can’t be considered the formal media corps like the Media Bureau, their works rarely reach widespread circulation, and they seldom have the qualifications to report major news.

But these people are good at making things up, each rumor they create is more impressive than the last.

So right after Wen Xishu left the Bunker and entered the Three Towers, Sha Ruijing immediately started worrying before the leader did, solving problems for the leader.

He found these story-making experts.

They came up with three versions in total.

The versions are as follows:

If Wen Xishu came back alive with not much material, then the focus would be on Wen Xishu’s poverty, hardships, and selflessness. Although the material brought back is not much, the spirit is precious.

Even if the power is weak, he still risked his life without hesitation.

The second version, if the material Wen Xishu brought back is decent, then on the basis of the first version, add Wen Xishu’s talent, emphasizing how this child is a genius, achieving such feats on his first exploration of the Deceit Tower.

The third version, the most exaggerated version.

Sha Ruijing thought he wouldn’t need the third version, but he still made the plan.

That is, Wen Xishu brought back enough material.

In fact, Wen Xishu really did it, and far exceeded everyone’s expectations of him, even Sha Ruijing’s third version wasn’t exaggerated enough.

This version of the propaganda, is aimed at creating a god.

Bunker Saint, the Future of the Bunker, Pillar of the Bunker.

Relying on his own strength, turning the tide, saving everyone.

Even Sha Ruijing himself felt this was utter nonsense, but he still made this version of the plan.

In the end, this plan was used.

As soon as the lower-level rumor spreaders contacted Sha Ruijing, saying that a hospital had appeared, along with a massive amount of material, and the hospital was a Level 6 hospital.

Sha Ruijing’s brain was as muddled as Liu Jinsen’s was back then.

But he reacted faster than Liu Jinsen, even faster than the high-level meeting room, after all, he didn’t have to hold meetings with a lot of people with complex stances.

So while the Bunker meeting was still discussing, Sha Ruijing’s third version of the propaganda had already started.

Otherwise, how could those rushing into the hospital have been shouting:

”This was brought by someone codenamed Wen Xishu! My God! This is a Level 6 Hospital!”

”We are saved! We are saved!”

”Wen Xishu, Wen Xishu! He brought a Level 6 hospital! Quick! Go get the Health Bureau people!”

After this, the people from the Bunker were driven out.

But Sha Ruijing’s propaganda had only just begun.

Although the appearance of a Level 6 building was beyond expectations, the rumor spreaders Sha Ruijing found were all very professional.

Adapting to changes and revising drafts on zero frames were no problem at all.

When the official propaganda vehicles slowly arrived, when Liu Jinsen started heading towards the Three Towers Academy...

When the higher-ups were still discussing whether to retain some of the medicines and whether to station around the Level 6 hospital to turn it into a noble hospital...

Sha Ruijing’s team had already begun fabricating stories.

To make it as grandiose as possible, the lead writer responsible for marketing Wen Xishu this time was said to be from the Asian Wa Island lineage.

Although it’s an annoying race, they are very good at being melodramatic.

In this era where the upper echelons are indifferent, sealing the tiers regardless of the plight of the lower class, and in this era where the Great Devour is coming, and Albert Napolitano is already old...

He, Wen Xishu, suddenly appeared.

Every time a great calamity is imminent, a genius will appear. Every era’s transformation requires a genius to emerge.

The one pushing the era forward is Wen Xishu, the fierce tiger of the Deceit Tower, the destructive dragon of the Deceit Tower, the twin signs of the tiger and dragon, the Ashura, feared by all the ghosts of the Deceit Tower, has come from Hell.

Wen Xishu was deified.

Of course, they didn’t forget to publicize Wen Xishu’s virtues. Words like realizing the value of life and for the sake of the people of the Bunker, Sha Ruijing didn’t write any less.

These messages didn’t have much credibility, the lower-class people aren’t fools.

But combined with the Level 6 facility and the huge amount of material which all belonged to Wen Xishu, it was different.

For a time, on the second layer of the Bunker, everyone was talking about Wen Xishu.

Someone said they saw him when he was a child, and he was a boy with glowing eyes.

Someone else said he was the reincarnation of Albert Napolitano or something.

Another said they saw Xun Hui spar with Wen Xishu in the Slaughter Tower, with Wen Xishu winning by half a move.

All this fermentation took only a few hours.

Of course, there was one thing Sha Ruijing didn’t do.

That was to whitewash the Wen family.

He knew very well, protecting Wen Xishu didn’t mean exonerating the Wen family.

Boasting about Wen Xishu, if questioned, Mr. Liu would still protect him, and it would even increase Mr. Liu’s goodwill towards him.

But whitewashing the Wen family, that’s courting death without knowing the cause.

In short, under Sha Ruijing’s operation, when the higher-ups finally decided to seize Wen Xishu’s achievements and start rescuing people...

The image of Saint Wen was already established.

The public’s memory can be manipulated, but at least at that hottest moment...

No one could cover up that tide.

”We want to see Wen Xishu, we want to thank Wen Xishu!”

Such calls echoed one after another.

Doctors who were distributing medicine would be asked by patients: Can I thank Wen Xishu in person?

This would soon feedback to the higher-ups, also helping in ending the interrogation of Wen Xishu.

Listening to the waves of calls from the people below, hiding in the shadows, Sha Ruijing suddenly felt like humming a few lines ~ Who says standing outside the Three Towers doesn’t count as a hero?

Far away in the fourth layer being interrogated, Wen Xishu still didn’t know he was becoming famous.

If he knew, he would probably be grateful for Sha Ruijing’s help, but... such help alone is not enough.

The person who can decide his fate has not yet appeared.
