Chapter 1368: Overpower Group

Because of the Supreme Devil Organization, Noel quickly organized a second group for the charity and went to the next place. With the experience in the first village, Noel managed to arrange everything smoothly.

Meanwhile, the previous charity would be left to Aurelia and Grandel as representatives of their respective affiliations.

Other important personnel, such as Jasmine and Balott, would continue to the second place. They even brought some students for practical experience.

Finally, Incetta brought several people under Noel, specifically Dimitri, Howard, Rui, and Melissa.

”What? Me becoming a spirit transcendence?” Dimitri was stunned, ignoring the fact this was the first time he saw Melissa. He had seen Rui, but he didnʼt know her importance.

”Yes.” Noel nodded solemnly. ”In the past, my ancestor had so many spirit transcendences to barely repel the demon invasion. Meanwhile, our current situation doesnʼt allow us to replicate such a force.

”I donʼt think the demons will attack us with the same intensity. Instead, they will most likely learn from their past mistakes and attack us with greater ferocity.

”Thatʼs why we need more. Even runes wonʼt be enough to stop them. We need more spirit transcendences.

”Normally, this is hard to do, but we have an advantage this time. Our territory is located at the edge of the border.

”Hence, itʼs easy for us to explore the area and find a lot of demons. And with the Runegard Company dealing with our finances, we donʼt have to worry about the tax for killing demons.

”Of course, I know how dangerous it is to hunt demons, especially in the demon territory, but I have something in mind.

”If we can create a group for people who are aiming for it and work together, thereʼs a chance it will succeed. Besides, I will give some notes about the transcendent path. Although this method is crude and might end up ruining your chance to progress beyond the spirit transcendence… It might allow you to reach this stage as long as youʼre ready to face the danger.”

Dimitri was stunned at first, but Noel must have thought about it carefully. On the one hand, Dimitri originally never had the intention of becoming a spirit transcendence. On the other hand, he had the potential to reach it. There was a reason he was considered Oscarʼs rival.

Dimitri fell silent.

”If you donʼt want to do it, Iʼm not planning to force you.” Nathan shook his head.

Dimitri asked, ”May I know the people aiming to reach this stage?”

”There are two right now. Incetta will be the vanguard and Saintess Layla will be the support. If you join as a scout, the group will be much safer.”

Dimitri looked down, falling into deep thought. ”I can agree, but thereʼs no guarantee that everyone will become a spirit transcendence.”

”I know, but I still want to take that chance.”

”Actually, is it possible for me to recommend people?”

”Who?”

Dimitri raised two hands. ”The first one is Masterʼs mother, Madam Leysha. She should have been close to the transcendent stage. In fact, according to your grandfather, her talent is much stronger than his, so it wonʼt be weird for her to become one easily.”

”Well…” Noel crossed his arms. It might be dangerous for her, but Noel didnʼt really have any authority to ask her such a thing.

Of course, Dimitri knew there was no way Noel could ask such a thing. Hence, Dimitri explained, ”In that case, how about this? I will ask Madam Leysha personally. If she wished to become a spirit transcendence, she could go with us. This way, it wonʼt be as dangerous. In fact, I donʼt think she needs an ancient demon core to become a spirit transcendence with her talent.”

”Fair enough. I understand. You can ask her… No, I will just send her a letter.”

”Understood.”

Leysha might be the correct choice. First of all, Leysha was a Spirit Magician with an overwhelming attack power. She was similar to Dimitri, but her ability focused on her large area of attack. With this, there was a scout, a vanguard, a magician, and a support. It was an extremely solid group.

But he remembered Dimitri wanted to suggest one more person. ”Now that I think about it, who is the second person you want to recommend?”

”Iʼd like to recommend Milfa.”

”Milfa?” Noel looked shocked, not expecting Dimitri to suggest her, especially since she was affiliated with the Demon Banner Army.

”Milfaʼs talent is actually superior to mine. I donʼt have any doubt that she will be the next commander when Oscar retires. Letting her become a spirit transcendence will stabilize the Demon Banner Army and help us a lot in the future.

”Besides, she is practically an all-rounder. She can do everything with that light ability of hers.”

”Light ability?” Rui raised her eyebrows since she heard a fellow light ability user.

”Fair enough. If we get too strong, the royal family will be threatened. However, if the marshal doesnʼt die alongside Commander Oscar, Milfa, and Duke Lorelei, the royal family shouldnʼt make too much of a fuss in the future, especially with Dimitri and Incetta under him. Rui and Melissa would go home anyway, so there would only be two spirit transcendence rank experts in their territory, not counting the spirit king.”

After considering the pros and cons, he nodded his head. ”Alright. Letʼs do that. I will give you the note, but just show it to the people who want to take a look at it. Make sure to mention the risk and other things.”

”Understood.” Dimitri nodded.

”I donʼt know how long this will take and how long the enemy needs to launch an all-out attack, but we donʼt really have a lot of time.

”Hence, I will set up a time limit. You have to go back within a year. Whether you succeed in becoming one or not, you have to return. Understand?”

”Yes, Master.” Dimitri nodded.

Noel then turned to Howard. ”During this period, I will give you more budget. Get more soldiers for our territory and strengthen our security.”

”Understood, Sir.” Howard was a bit disappointed that he didnʼt get this chance, but he knew he hadnʼt reached that level yet. ”

”Rui. I want you to go around the territory and maybe familiarize yourself with it. While you are at it, I want you to kill some demons that look troublesome. As for Melissa, I will go to the Beast Kingdom next month. Tell them about it.”

”Yes.” Both Rui and Melissa nodded.
