Chapter 1292 Acting Head of the Ardagan Family

Dimitri swallowed the pill while examining his condition carefully.

As Rose said, the pill instantly stimulated his spirit. It worked by itself, but Dimitri was able to manage the circulation of his spiritual energy much better than Rose.

”Huu…” Dimitri took a deep breath, enduring the pain of transformation while examining his approach.

He could feel that his body started to transform, but he maintained the circulation so well that he even had time to actually explain. ”You have to warn people about the pain. In addition, if they focus on circulating their spiritual energy between the source, which is the heart and the spirit mark, they will be able to progress in a much smoother way.

”However, it will be quite hard because there is pain and this weird, uncomfortable feeling of transformation.

”In addition, itʼs best to have someone else to watch over you in case something goes wrong, especially during circulating your spiritual energy.”

”!!!” Khalid was surprised, but he immediately noted it down. ”Understood. Anything else?”

Dimitri fell silent for a moment. ”Wait. The full transformation is coming…”

The spirit seal began to release spiritual energy as it gradually covered Dimitriʼs body with a layer of black clothes. His hands and legs were fully covered, leaving only everything above his neck. In fact, a single pattern went all the way to his cheek and formed an X-shaped pattern on his right eye and cheek.

The shadow energy enveloped the entire room, due to him feeling full of energy.

The shadow covered all the shelves, the table, and two couches.

”Devour.” As he uttered that word, the shadow devoured everything it covered. Dimitri couldnʼt help but furrow his eyebrows because he couldnʼt control this shadow release. The only thing he could do was to control it so that it didnʼt devour anything important.

His action caused a lot of mess inside the office, but they couldnʼt really be bothered by it.

They were staring at Dimitri, wondering if something went wrong.

”Huu…” Dimitri let out a long sigh, his energy calming down. ”There is an uncontrollable release of spiritual energy. It might be due to the energy absorbed from the pill itself. Hence, itʼs best to swallow the pill in a place where you can release that energy freely.

”The only thing you can control is how to release that energy. Well, that also means I canʼt do anything with all those shelves… Someone has to change it.”

Khalid noted everything. ”Thank you so much, Dimitri.”

”I should be the one to thank you. That transformation is strong. It will be useful for even someone like me.” Dimitri thought for a moment. ”In other words, this is something that everyone wants to get, which will be useful for our current situation.

”I suggest bringing this pill to the Ezenholm family. The lordʼs grandfather will welcome such a pill, considering the lord has taken the prototype in front of him. After explaining everything, he will most likely agree to take it and explain it to the Greenwood Kingdom. How many pills do you have right now? It will be better to give him some and let him handle it.”

”I have made ten. You and Rose have taken one, so only eight remain.”

”I will take three pills then.”

”It should be no problem. I can make more.” He nodded.

Tristan nodded in agreement. ”Yeah. We should do that. Still, I want to do something unexpected, just in case.”

”Something unexpected?”

”First of all, do you think itʼs possible to call Duke Lorelei all the way here?” Tristan asked.

Dimitri shook his head. ”No. Itʼs not possible. Besides, even if we do call him, the royal family will do everything they can to stop the duke from leaving his territory.”

”In that case…” Tristan raised a finger. ”What if we send an envoy to bring this pill to him and Countess Christina?”

”As I said, the royal family wouldnʼt allow them to leave. So, they couldnʼt help us. The lord must have told you about this, no?”

”Yes. But he told me to think from my enemyʼs perspective. So, I think about it from the enemyʼs perspective. If the Ardagan family sends an envoy at this time to Duke Lorelei, what will they think about it and what will they do?”

”!!!” Dimitri looked surprised. ”A distraction?”

Tristan nodded. ”My real target is the Atracaeca Kingdom. If possible, I want the Atracaeca Kingdom to help the nobles on the west side. Theyʼre near the demon territory, so the Atracaeca Kingdom doesnʼt have to enter the Muivell Kingdomʼs border.

”Besides, by giving the pills to Duke Lorelei and Countess Christina, they will be thankful to us. And the royal family will be sending some of the lords they have dispatched to fight against us to stop them.

”Two lords are not enough to stop them. Most likely, they will need to bring a fourth to a third of their original manpower to stop them, which will take a lot of burden from our shoulders.

”We can then focus on the Tower Association.” Tristan explained. ”Master has told me to handle the Tower Association carefully, so I try to lessen our burden so that we can focus on them.”

”…” Dimitri was impressed. It seemed he had underestimated Tristan a bit too much. Even though he didnʼt have the experience, he learned his strategy directly from Noel.

In the end, Noel asked them to back him up with their experiences. Noel must have some confidence in Tristanʼs ability.

Dimitri glanced at Rose, who also nodded her head.

”Alright. We should do that.”

”Who should we send?”

”I will be handling the Ezenholm family and the Atracaeca Kingdom. It should take me at least two weeks. You can bring the Demon Banner Army, but Rose should be able to call Clara here. In that case, the person who can handle Duke Lorelei is…” Dimitri sighed. ”Princess Livia. The Muivell Kingdom doesnʼt dare to touch her because they will fully unleash the Greenwood Kingdomʼs anger. And she is also a good envoy as well.”

Tristan nodded. ”I will convince her then. I will just tell them that youʼve brought the pills to the Ezenholm family so that they can introduce it to the kingdom. Master will be the one deciding whether to sell it or not. This should be enough for her.

”In that case, Dimitri brings three pills to the Ezenholm family and two pills to the Atracaeca Kingdom. We will bring two pills for Duke Lorelei and Countess Christina. The last one should be used on Princess Livia so that she will become the living example of the pillʼs power.”

Rose, Dimitri, and Khalid exchanged looks. They really didnʼt have any problem with this arrangement, so they agreed with him.

Even though the plan was pretty limited, he had covered up all the big things. They would take care of the details.

This must be the reason for Noel to delegate Tristan as the acting head instead of Dimitri.
