Chapter 1281 Award Ceremony

”What did you say?” The king couldnʼt help but stand up.

The admiral nodded with a serious expression. ”Yes. There is one more person coming back with us. It is another spirit transcendence rank expert.”

”Are you serious? This is not a small matter. Do you know what another spirit transcendence means?”

”I know, Your Majesty. Noel Ardagan seems to have recruited her.”

The kingʼs face turned pale. ”Doesnʼt that mean Noel Ardagan has three spirit transcendences in his own territory? That means he has an equal strength to a kingdom like us.”

”Iʼm afraid… even we are pale in comparison.” The admiral shook his head. ”With due respect, I have seen all his battles, and I doubt we have the chance to win against him.”

”What do you mean? Are you underestimating your own country?” The king raised his voice.

”Admiral. Please watch your words.” An old guardian squinted their eyes.

The admiral smiled wryly. ”Thatʼs what I want to believe as well… If only itʼs just me underestimating my own country, my head might not feel like itʼs going to burst with all this worry.

”However, I have seen him defeating two ancient demons by himself. In addition, he is also occupied with the lower level demons they bring.”

”Two ancient demons?” The old guardian fell silent. He himself had fought against an ancient demon once when he ventured deep within the demon territory.

However, that wasnʼt just what a single person was capable of doing. Someone had to keep the lower level demons in check so that he could fight against the ancient demons.

Yet Noel actually defeated the two of them by himself?

”And if thatʼs still not enough, it appeared he was conserving his strength during that fight. He had one big reason. It turned out to be a scheme from a rival party.

”Because of that scheme, he actually activated his second True Spirit Body and fought him in a close match. Although the battle ended with a reinforcement from our side, he managed to fight that spirit transcendence in an equal position.”

”!!!” The king and the old guardian couldnʼt help but widen their eyes in shock. They simply couldnʼt believe what he was saying.

”If this is true, then thereʼs no guardian who will be able to match his strength. In addition, his wife and this new person are also spirit transcendence…” The Old Guardian gasped.

The kingʼs face turned pale. There were a lot of things he wanted to say, but all of them felt like they were undermining his achievements.

After some consideration, he said, ”Weʼll be forgetting about this.”

”Your Majesty?” The old guardian looked shocked. Shouldnʼt they consider this more carefully? After all, Noel was not a small figure.

”There is one big reason.” He shook his head. ”First of all, the Muivell Kingdom only has two spirit transcendences. And more importantly, they are not on the same side.

”However, if push comes to shove, they can put down their grievance and fight him together. As a result, it will become two versus two.

”It all changes the moment they have three spirit transcendences in their rank. Even if the commander of the Demon Banner Army and the Marshall set aside their grievance and fight together, it wonʼt be enough to deal with three spirit transcendences.

”If they end up fighting against them, the kingdom will definitely suffer a major backlash.

”Hence, we should forget about this matter for the time being. If we think about this, thereʼs a high chance they will use politics against him. But they have done that this whole time, so doing it again will be disastrous.

”In the end, the only solution I can come up with to weaken their strength is to announce that Noel Ardagan is planning a coup dʼetat. Thatʼs the only way for them to survive.” The king let out a long sigh. ”Anyway, this is a headache.

”For now, we will act as if we donʼt care about it. If there are indeed demon kings, he is really needed.

”Yeah. Letʼs focus on your ceremony first.” The king shook his head helplessly.

…

The ceremony was held the next day. To their surprise, Noel and Anna didnʼt return immediately. They must be worried about their people, considering the Muivell Kingdom would do whatever they could to weaken them.

Yet Noel and Anna attended the ceremony together. Unfortunately, Incetta didnʼt attend it even though she was a former citizen. It was clear that he was holding a grudge against them, especially the family that kicked her out.

The ceremony was watched from all sides.

The admiral entered the room with his ceremonial uniform.

”On this joyous occasion, our big question about whether thereʼs land across the sea or not has been answered. Not only is there an island, but also a civilization that survives.

”And this island is just one island across the ocean. There is a high chance many islands are still there with much bigger size and different civilizations. Experience more tales on empire

”For this, we have to thank Admiral Gonzalez for doing such a great job. Thanks to him, we are able to confirm everything.

”Admiral Gonzalez will now become a duke. His territory will be expanded to Lanain. He will be rewarded with ten units of treasure and 3,000 advanced level demon crystals.”

”I thank Your Majesty.” Admiral Gonzalez responded.

”Of course, Admiral Gonzalez is not the only person who contributed to this expedition. I would like to thank all the brave heroes who have set sail together with him. All of them shall be rewarded properly.

”I would also like to express my endless gratitude to Noel Ardagan, Anna Stargaze, and Incetta Shervina as the special guests. They have not only protected this ship but are also deeply involved from the beginning of the project.”

The award ceremony was held as they expected. The king surprisingly mentioned Incettaʼs name with ʼShervinaʼ instead of ʼSherveana,ʼ which was a huge slap to her family. After all, they let go of such a jewel.

Nevertheless, the award ceremony wasnʼt that important. As soon as the ceremony ended, Noel, Anna, Incetta, and Rui vanished from the Zaecuria Kingdom.
