Chapter 1280 Return Triumph

”We finally received news from them. The expedition… is successful!”

Everyone in that room couldnʼt help but stand up, looking at the messenger.

The king asked, his voice shaking in disbelief and excitement. ”What did you say? Can you repeat it?”

”Yes, Your Majesty. I repeat, the expedition was successful. We have just received the news from the admiral that the expedition is successful.

”He will be reporting to you directly, but he has accomplished the three goals set before the expedition.”

”!!!” The king felt goosebumps.

”We had three goals. The first is to sail back and forth, which is successful the moment theyʼre back. The second goal is to establish trade and learn about their culture. The fact that we accomplish this means we have some favorable relationship with them. Last but not least, we need them to create a map for direction and other things.

”With all three goals fulfilled, we can actually go back and forth as much as we want. In addition, we have just confirmed that there is indeed land beyond the ocean.”

The ministers were looking at each other.

”Woaaahhhh!”

”Long live Your Majesty.”

”Cheers!”

”Long live Zaecuria! Long live Your Majesty!”

”We have finally succeeded.”

The ministers looked excited. After failing so many times, it turned out they managed to succeed this time. They couldnʼt help but wonder how much Noel had helped them on this expedition.

The king closed his eyes for a moment. The success still felt surreal.

”To think we would be able to do this…” The king smiled, feeling relieved. It was good. The Zaecuria Kingdom would rise after this.

”Where are they right now?”

”Considering the prior agreement, the admiral should arrive tomorrow. We are unsure of the time, but if we calculate the distance and the time the bird needs to travel, I think they will arrive somewhere in the morning.”

The king declared, ”All ministers. Focus on all the tasks in the kingdom right now. Prime minister. You are to spread the words of the return of our heroes. Tell everyone that the kingdom has succeeded.

”Get ready for a parade in the capital city. Make sure that the kingdom remains stable in this celebration. All ministers are to cooperate with this celebration!”

”Yes, Your Majesty.”

”We will do our best, even if it means we will collapse from exhaustion.”

Most people were just too excited that they didnʼt care about their personal grudge or energy. They just wanted to show the world that the expedition was successful after numerous attempts in the past centuries.

…

The next day.

The capital city was bustling. However, the most excited city was none other than the harbor city where they would dock the legendary ship. This ship would etch its name into history after all.

Nobles and commoners were standing at the harbor, looking at the distance.

Of course, there were a lot of soldiers trying to ensure that the situation was still conducive.

Unfortunately, even though he wanted to join, the king couldnʼt reveal himself.

”Are you sure youʼre not going to be with them, Your Majesty?” The prime minister asked with a smile.

”I canʼt. If Iʼm there, I will just become the focus.” The king shook his head. ”Anyone can be there, but not me. You should be the one there.”

”Ahahaha. I will just remain here.” The prime minister waved his hand.

Obviously, they had a spirit transcendence accompanying them, and he, too, had to watch them from afar.

It took several hours. It might be due to them adjusting the direction once they reached familiar water, it took them two more hours than expected.

People were worried, but they were still waiting. And their patience had paid off.

”Thatʼs…” Someone with a telescope couldnʼt help but gasp, seeing the familiar ship. It didnʼt look like they were tattered, so they actually succeeded with flying colors. ”Itʼs the ship!”

”The ship has arrived!”

The people couldnʼt help but squint their eyes, trying to see the shadow of that ship.

”Itʼs really the ship!”

”They have succeeded!”

”Our heroes are back!”

Their cheers erupted. They flocked on the deck, wanting to greet them personally.

However, the soldiers made sure everything progressed normally. They created a line so that the heroes could walk with ease.

As the ship came closer and closer, the people could see the heroes waving their hands from the ship.

”Oi!”

”We have returned!”

”You wonʼt believe what we have seen!”

The people were just excited to see each other.

Noel, Anna, Incetta, and Rui remained in their room for some time. In the end, they were outsiders.

Noel was kind enough to let the admiral come out first so that they could hear the praise sung by the people.

Although they were excited, they were still soldiers. With the admiral leading them, they gradually went off the ship while waving their hands to them.

”We have found them.”

”We have found an island with another civilization!”

People were throwing flower petals. Trumpets and drums filled the atmosphere.

A lot of people were trying to find their families, wondering if they could see their beloved kids manage to become heroes.

Still, they were soldiers.

They were suddenly stopped by a hundred soldiers in their path. The ones leading them were one of the Guardians and the other admiral that the country had.

People were stunned to see them here.

The admiral couldnʼt help but smile before raising his voice with spiritual energy. ”Attention. To all the brave heroes. Salute!”

All soldiers saluted in unison. Such synchronized movements actually made them feel goosebumps.

These one hundred soldiers were the ones in charge of the protection and escort to the capital city for their true parade.

Admiral Gonzalez smiled and saluted back. ”Report to all citizens of the Zaecuria Kingdom. We have succeeded. We have found the island across the ocean. There are even people over there. And now, we return triumphant!”

The moment he announced the result, the people couldnʼt help but cheer.

”Uooohhh!”
