Merging with Demon Spirits

Chapter 842: Chapter 641: First Meeting Gift

Yundong City.

The pitch-black streets were deserted, littered only with rotting corpses.

Under the bleak moonlight, corpses lay everywhere, surrounded by limbs and fragments of flesh, patches of congealed black blood, and a nauseating stench permeating the air—it was a hellish scene.

In the rustling sound, as green lights appeared and moved, a few Demon Beasts as tall as half a meter, resembling rats, were faintly visible, gnawing on the corpses, savoring this rare feast.

Aside from the sound of chewing, Yundong City at this moment was as quiet as a ghost town.

The surviving people hid in their homes, doors locked tight, not daring to make any sound or show any lights.

Since a month ago, when two nine-star level Space Gates in the city fell, a large number of Abnormal People invaded, the Guard Army had been completely slaughtered, and the Abnormal People had thoroughly controlled this city.

At first, the residents held onto a thread of hope, but as rescue teams continually perished, their hope was extinguished.

They actually all knew, these Abnormal People didn’t spare them out of kindness, simply treated them as bait.

To lure rescue teams to come.

Tianyuan District.

In the underground Level 2 garage.

Dozens of people huddled in the corner, in the darkness, intermittent sobbing could still be heard.

”Stop crying, it’s driving everyone crazy.”

”We’ve run out of food, and even the drinking water only lasts for two more days.”

”Should we go out to find food?”

”Outside are Abnormal People and Demon Beasts, just wait quietly to die, no one will come to rescue us.”

”Even if a strong rescue team really comes, Abnormal People will kill us before leaving.”

In the whispers, a suffocating and desperate atmosphere spread in the dark space.

These voices were all negative, not a single word of comfort.

There was before.

Before, everyone still had hope, but now gradually despairing.

Yundong City had been abandoned.

The city’s power and water supply had been cut off by Abnormal People, unable to find food and water sources, they could only wait silently for death, possibly not even waiting for the day of rescue.

Perhaps, there wouldn’t even be that day.

”The preview of Plan Four is about to begin, whose phone still has power? Even if I die, let me finish watching the preview first.”

Someone disliked this depressing atmosphere and deliberately changed the topic.

Quickly, someone echoed: ”I looked at the Martial Artist forum, many netizens said Plan Four is related to rescuing us.”

”Haha, how few rescue teams have come? All have been wiped out, what’s the point?”

”Indeed, even if an Emperor comes, it’s useless.”

”Can we send out information now?”

”No, I tried, can only receive, cannot send out.”

”My phone still has power, but I have to use it sparingly, only fifteen percent left.”

Someone took out a phone, accompanied by the startup music, the atmosphere suddenly quieted down.

In the dark basement, pairs of eyes stared at the glowing phone screen.

When Igor announced Plan Four was to rescue 31 cities, when Yundong City appeared on the list of 31 cities, a glimmer lit up in everyone’s eyes, but it quickly dimmed.

Trainees pulled symbols representing cities from the ground, but the highest level was only three stars, even Alex’s team only dared to choose a four-star city.

”Only the Avengers Alliance is left.”

Someone murmured, with a cry in the voice.

Just as the world of the people was about to plunge into darkness, Lin Feng pulled up the blood-colored flag...

”Ah!”

A suppressed cry of surprise rang out.

Originally desolate, originally fearful, now all transformed into hope and excitement.

If it were other teams, even if a country accepted this task, they wouldn’t be so expectant.

But this time, it’s the Avengers Alliance!

It’s a record undefeated alliance that closed the Land of Chaos, slaughtered Alien geniuses to frighten them and repeatedly created miracles!

If anyone could save Yundong City, it would definitely be the Avengers Alliance!

Only they could...

Inside the city hall.

Dozens of horned Abnormal People sat or stood, surrounding a long table filled with delicacies, indulging themselves.

”Though monkeys, their food is indeed delicious.”

An elder in purple armor lightly said, speaking in the Abnormal People language.

Left lower down from the elder, a figure in a pitch-black cloak, face obscure, shrouded in shadows, laughed and said: ”Lord Fuling, it’s been ten days and no rescue team has arrived, it seems the World Alliance has abandoned Yundong City.”

”Did they abandon so quickly?”

The elder called Fuling slightly frowned: ”What a pity, I wanted to kill more Human Race Kings.”

”Three Human Race Kings have already died, the World Alliance won’t continue to lose personnel here.”

The cloaked man said.

”In that case, let’s withdraw in a couple of days.” Fuling said.

”And the civilians in the city?”

”Do you have any thoughts?”

Fuling looked at the cloak man and asked.

The cloaked man pondered for a moment, smiled and said: ”Of course, kill them all.”

”Haha, Xu Fa, being of the Human Race, don’t you feel it’s too cruel? With your status and previous achievements, if you spoke up, I might spare the people of Yundong City.”

Fuling lifted his wine cup, smiled after downing it.

”It doesn’t matter anymore, surviving a few more years is meaningless, when the Divine Martial Army descends, they will die regardless.” Xu Fa said lightly.

He knew the Alien Emperor in front of him was testing him, an improper answer might risk his life.

He didn’t have such a big face.

Abnormal People desired to kill Human Race Kings, meanwhile driving the world into chaos and fear, so they could act in the chaos.

Fuling’s gaze swept over Xu Sect, smiled, and did not continue the topic.

”Plan Four is about to begin.”

Fuling looked at the television, indifferently spoke.

Soon, a subordinate turned on the television.

A group of Abnormal People ate and drank while watching television.

”Somewhat interesting!” Xu Fa expressed surprise.

His surprise was Yundong City was within the 31 cities, not the content of Plan Four.

Rescue a city, relocating tens to millions of civilians, the move too significant, impossible to conceal.

Seeing Lin Feng pulling the blood-colored flag, the hundreds of Abnormal People first froze, but soon let out excited cheers.

”Slaughter!”

”Slaughter!”

”Slaughter!”

The deafening shouts were like overwhelming waves, resounding through the streets of Yundong City, causing hundreds of thousands in the city to sweat pale, bodies trembling.

News of the Avengers Alliance besieging Alfonso, the present Abnormal People naturally already knew.

Before Lin Feng and others became Kings, they had been massacring Divine Martial Race geniuses in the Other-dimensional Space Gate, their hands covered in the blood of their clansmen.

Now Lin Feng’s group had become Kings, possessing records of slaughtering Extraordinary ones, this time coming for rescue, would definitely come with plenty of help, even Emperors.

They lacked the courage to face the Avengers Alliance, but they could slaughter the city!

Hundreds of thousands of civilians’ corpses are their ”meeting gift” to the Avengers Alliance!

This gift, the Avengers Alliance would certainly be satisfied with.
