I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1590 21.47 Fifth Violet Star - Brothers

This regret and obsession spread as he shattered his soul together with his beloved. At the same time, Hunluanʼs undying love and sacrifice for him had also spread and shattered after his death.

Thus, the obsession and remnant emotions of these two ancient gods remained and split into their broken soul fragments, giving birth to an endless struggle of love, obsession, and sacrifices within the madness and chaos their origins had possessed. This continues to the present timeline of those who were born from them.

Thatʼs why the fragments of the world eater are obsessed with loving the fragments of Hunluan, the Ancient God of Chaos. The only fragment of Hunluan that received his undying love and sacrifice is the bloodline of the Mo Clan, which was said to be born from the chaos itself. Itʼs because of this reason that the curse of their family only being able to fall in love with one person stems from this origin.

However, the Mo Clan was only born with the ability to love one person their whole life, but this has nothing to do with Hunluan loving the World Eater. After all, for him, only this man who had died together with him is the real person he loves, and beings born from his remnant fragments are free to love whoever they want.

Unlike the fragments of the World Eater, whose heart only beats for the descendants of the Ancient God of Chaos. Moreover, the more powerful one possesses the power of chaos, the more they are attracted.

The God of Destruction happens to be the strongest descendant born from Remnant Chaos, making him the target of the fragments born from the World Eater.

Obsession born from the world eater was out of control. This emotion fades as much as death is experienced. It can be said that the more of his fragments died and reincarnated, the more this feeling fades until it completely disappears.

Thatʼs why the God of Void, who had died more than once, can be said to have the weakest obsession born from being a fragment of the World Eater. Even so, his obsession with his wife comes from the love he has for him. He loves the God of Destruction not because he is a descendant of Hunluan, but because he is Hei Anjing.

Though it can be said that their fate originated from their previous lives as the God of Void Ye Jieye and the Incomplete Ancient God Snow, being reincarnated and experiencing multiple life and death in the Trial of Resurrection says otherwise. Itʼs because they didnʼt give up on each other that the love they have for one another no longer has anything to do with their original origins.

---

Back in reality...

The God of Void had pulled out his innate weapon, Shenyuan, a god-slaying sword. Which means he is willing to kill the two gods in front of him. His cold eyes linger on his younger brother and HeiʼAn.

Though both are using other peopleʼs bodies, Ye Xiajie wouldnʼt mistake them for someone else. After all, their affinity with darkness and gluttony is beyond what this world possessed.

”The one called HeiʼAn, I had no intention of cutting you with that bastard beside you. If you donʼt want to get involved, leave. However, if you donʼt leave, I will kill you with him,” the God of Void declares.

Under everyoneʼs eyes, his normal light brown eyes turned deep crimson, and it got darker the more murderous he got. Even the aura around him became visible black mist, and it was a lot more powerful than all the demons the human race saw had used before. Upon closer look, this black aura doesnʼt seem to be purely darkness but instead a black flame that can melt anything in this existence, the hell flames.

The stern and cold gaze of the God of Void made HeiʼAn shiver. He can actually feel that seriousness within that pair of inhuman eyes and killing intent. He was so used to seeing Gui Xiajunʼs obsessed and doting gaze that he couldnʼt believe someone born from the world eater would treat him like an enemy despite him being a fragment born from Hunluan, the Ancient God of Void.

Flinch!

HeiʼAn, Archangels Jophiel, instinctively took a step back under the God of Voidʼs gaze.

”He is serious. He truly wanted to kill me. But why... Even though I am weaker than the God of Destruction, our origins are similar. How can he, being born from the fragments of the World Eater, treat me like this?” grumbles HeiʼAn.

Even though Gui Xiajun felt things had gotten weird with his brother, he used to be like him, unable to harm any of the fragments of Hunluan. But now, as if he had diverted from the norm, he is no longer the same as him and is someone completely unmoved by the name of Hunluan.

The firm lover of Hunluan, Gui Xiajun, was enraged by his reaction. He felt that his beloved was being looked down upon.

”Brother, are you for real? How can you treat Hunluanʼs fragment like this? Kill HeiʼAn? Can you even kill your own wife?” asked Satan.

Ye Xiajie answered, ”Killing Jingʼer is impossible, but killing all others aside from him I can.”

He suddenly disappeared to where he was standing and appeared before Satan and Archangel Jophiel. He raised his black sword, intending to make a slash.

”I will show you proof,” said the God of Void as he intended to kill HeiʼAn with his own hands.

Gui Xiajun panicked seeing how serious the situation had become and pushed HeiʼAn before we were cut into two pieces.

”Youʼre crazy!” He shouted.

HeiʼAn was stunned at the moment and saw the black blade of the God of Voidʼs sword about to split him in half as well as the close-up of this manʼs face. Both eyes and face were devoid of emotions even when he was about to kill him.

Slashed!

Satanʼs left arm was cut clean, and the cut part was instantly burned by hell flames, turning into a mere pile of ashes blown away by the wind. HeiʼAn successfully escaped that sudden death.

Urgh!

Satan with a missing arm grabs Archangel Jophiel, who is looking at the God of Void in shock. He truly didnʼt expect this man to be decisive in killing him.

”Stand properly, HeiʼAn!” shouted Satan.

Everyone, including the wardens and systems in the area, was stunned by the action their sovereign had taken. They didnʼt feel any hesitation when he tried to cut the person.

The God of Void said, ”I will not miss for the second time.” Without them knowing, someone else was smiling within the crowd as he watched this scene.

---

At the sidelines...

Zhi Yue exclaims, ”Am I seeing things right? Did the lord just try to kill someone connected to Lord Hei?”

”They are not connected by anything except for the fact that their original origins are the same. They are not even the same person. Did Master (Hei Anjing) convince him about them being different from him?” Zhi Yang said.

The Chief Warden commented, ”This is quite serious.”

As expected, Satan was enraged by this action from the God of Void. He stopped playing around with the current vessel he was using and decided to seriously fight against this brother of his.

Gui Xiajun returned to his original face and shed the appearance of Satan he was using. On the other hand, HeiʼAn was still in shock seeing how close he was to dying just now.

”I cannot allow this kind of foolishness, brother. Even though HeiʼAn is not as powerful as Jingʼer, his existence came from Hunluan! How can you try to kill him?”

”Because he is not Jingʼer and that I can kill him,” said the God of Void. ”I am different from you. My love and my obsession are only for one person. I only love a man called Hei Anjing and not a man called Hunluan.”

Gui Xiajun pulled out his daggers, which were his natal weapon. He fought against his brother while angry.

”Brother, you are a failure. You cannot become a world eater just as we are destined to be!”

”I am not the world eater and Jingʼer is not Hunluan. I am only Ye Xiajie and my wife is only Hei Anjing. Donʼt mistake us for ghosts that disappeared eons ago!” retorted the God of Void.

The brothers exchange moves from the ground to the sky, destroying everything in the area. Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang were having a hard time keeping the barrier up after all; the clashes between these two powerful gods are not something that can be easily controlled by the two of them alone.

Zhi Yueʼs face is distorted in hardship, and they can barely keep the barrier up.

Argh!

”If this continues, the barrier around this place cannot remain, and the battle between these two will destroy this world and kill all mortals that cannot protect themselves,” said Zhi Yue.

Zhu Yang said, ”We need to strengthen the barrier.”

”I will help you with the barrier,” said the Chief Warden as he used his natal weapon, his spear Chuankong, to become the core of the barrier in this place. Making him the source of divine energy to keep the barrier in place.

What they didnʼt know was that the others who didnʼt know what was happening felt the powerful surge of the void and immediately recognized who owned this energy.

Somewhere within the land outside the main city...

After hiding all this time from Gui Xiajun and HeiʼAn, Lord Chaos, who was still healing, and Tun Shizhe, who was watching over him, looked in a certain direction and felt the tremors that caused earthquakes.

Tun Shizhe said, ”This vicious energy of the abyss. So, he had truly descended in this world.”

”The other aura is familiar as well. Is he fighting against his younger brother? I want to watch,” said Lord Chaos.

Tun Shizhe looked at his injuries and said, ”With these injuries? I donʼt think so!”

---

Meanwhile, even the heavens shook under that clash between the God of Void and his brother, Gui Xiajun, affecting the nap of Archangel Michael on his throne.

His eyes turned colder as he felt the aura of the God of Void, and then he mumbled, ”Youʼve finally shown yourself, Xia.”

Archangel Michael suddenly disappeared from his throne, and no one knows where he had gone, but most likely he had descended to the human world, where the chaos is happening.
