I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1573 21.30 Fifth Violet Star - Angelʼs Wings

After the building where the Bar ʼPurgatoryʼ had returned to normal returned to his masterʼs side following with him are the two systems who seem bewildered by why the God of Void didnʼt appear when Archangel Michael was besieged. The God of Void was now at the couch drinking a glass of black coffee.

The God of Void asked, ”Done cleaning up?”

”Yes, My lord.” The Chief Warden responded.

The God of Void asked again, ”Where is your lover?”

”He stayed with the angels to observe whether Archangel Michael was Lord Heiʼs incarnation,” answered the Chief Warden.

With a short silence, the God of Void said, ”Tell him to come back. There is no need to investigate Michael any longer.”

A small moon hovers around the God of Void and Zhi Yue asked, [Why, master? Is Archangel Michael not Lord Heiʼs incarnation? But I saw him wield chaos energy.]

”Wield? Or did he just show you?” asked the god of void.

The silly little moon seems to be confused as it sways floating in the area as if it was groggy. The little sun had to bump it to catch its attention.

[There is no need to worry about my master. It can be said that his soul is close to being completely healed and these soul fragments that have hard similarities with the God of Destruction didnʼt literally mean that they are his soul fragments. They are just souls that possessed the same origin as my master and they are not originally part of him.] Zhi Yang said.

Zhi Yue looked bewildered and asked, [If Lord Hei is healed, why are we still descending in these worlds.]

The God of Void said, ”The Trial of Resurrection can only be completed with descending these worlds. Moreover, Jingʼer said that the chaos energy had started appearing at places it shouldnʼt have. He wanted me to investigate it.”

[Then why is my lord kind to that doctor? Are you cheating on Lord Hei?] asked Zhi Yue who got slapped away by the God of Voidʼs hand after his words were completed.

The God of Void said, ”I never cheat.”

Zhi Yue wobbly flew back to the group and asked, [Then why are you kind to that doctor, Master?]

”You guess,” said the God of Void.

[Eh?]

”Sigh~ donʼt think anymore. Just ask Zhi Yang to explain it to you,” said the Chief warden to the confused moon.

Zhi Yang had to morph in his human form and grab the small moon. After bowing his head to the Sovereign he excused himself for a while together with Zhi Yue.

The chief warden said, ”Should I investigate the source of Michaelʼs chaos energy?”

”No need. Just resume your current role. Maybe there are other sources in this human realm. You find some if there is. Also donʼt get too close to Archangel Michael. He is far more dangerous than all other soul fragments and... HeiʼAn and Lord Chaos are targeting him. There is no need to get involved in their fight.”

”Also, keep track of Gui Xiajun. If possible, I want to catch him myself. Have you controlled those people who had seen me? Making sure that they only see Lucifer coming back to life on his own,” said the God of Void.

The Chief warden said, ”Yes, there is no worries about that. The angels will be handled by Mingʼer.”

”Thatʼs good. I will use Luciferʼs identity for now. Donʼt worry about Michael, he might question how Lucifer had come back to life, but for him as long as it is interesting he wouldnʼt investigate much. Go back for now.” The God of Void said.

The Chief Warden slightly bowed his head and responded, ”Yes, my lord.”

The Police Officer also left the bar and returned to the police station to continue his duties.

---

At the police station...

As the chief warden returns to the station, he accidentally bumps into Doctor Hei Yu who seems to be looking around with no goal at all. The other officers wanted to calm the doctor down but were afraid of being dragged to the morgue and welcomed with corpses, organs and more. Ordinary people canʼt bear to stay in that place for so long.

Doctor Black upon seeing Captain Lou Ye said, ”Oh, youʼre back captain. Weʼve been trying to get hold of you. There was a call saying that another victim had been found. This time the victim was said to be crucified and a pair of huge white wings had been found sewed on its back.”

”Have you gone to the crime scene?” asked Captain Lou Ye.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”No. I was told not to move on my own and wait for you. Since you are back. Letʼs go now.”

In an old abandoned church, this is where the new victim of the serial killer was found. The victim was none other than the other assistant of Actor Xiu Mo and Manager Xue Lian. As soon as Captain Lou Ye and Doctor Black arrived, the police officer protecting the crime scene saluted them.

”Captain! Doctor Black!”

”Whereʼs the victim?” asked Captain Lou Ye.

A police officer answered, ”We didnʼt dare to move him from the altar as the doctor hasnʼt arrived yet.”

”I will go now. Hehe~” said Doctor Hei as he looked excited and ran towards the altar followed by his assistants carrying his tools.

The police officer at the scene reported, ”Captain, the victim was none other than an assistant of Actor Xiu Mo. The vice captain left to check on the actor and his manager.”

”I see. Have you found any evidence or traces on the scene?” asked Captain Lou Ye.

Another police officer said, ”Like the past cases there are no traces of footprints and fingerprints. As if the victim was placed in here through air.”

The police officers at the scene felt eerie about this serial killing case. It was the third one but they still havenʼt found anything that proves that the killer had brought the victim here.

”Captain, you donʼt think this serial case is strange? How come we canʼt even find a single fingerprint or foot marks? Is the serial killer capable of flight? That is simply insane!”

”If our killer is not human then it might be possible,” said Captain Lou Ye.

Despite his expressionless face, his teammates were not afraid of him. They are close to him and would sometimes exchange jokes with him. Even though it was usually hard to know what kind of emotion their captain has with that face devoid of expression, they at least knew when their captain was joking or not. At this moment, he is clearly not joking at all but speaks of truth. Thatʼs why these police officers were terrified.

”C-Captain, are you serious?” a police officer asked.

Captain Lou Ye passed them the information Doctor Hei Yu had given to them. Itʼs about the laboratory result for those huge black wings they picked up at the last crime scene.

”According to what the doctor had found, that huge black feather I pick up before was neither a rooster feather, nor any other bird type animal. It might have looked similar to chicken feathers but it was not. An unknown energy was found from it. Doctor Hei called it curse. Anything the energy in that feather had affected would impeccably die in the end.”

”Captain, are you alright? Didnʼt you pick up that thing?” a police officer asked.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”I, the doctor and other people who had touched the feather were all checked upon. Except for one who had touched the black feather with an open wound, the rest of us were cleared. Whatever the energy is in that feather, it loves blood and flesh. The doctor declared that whoever is the original owner of the feather was not human at all. He gave the serial killer an alias. The Fallen.”

”The fallen? A fallen angel? Doesnʼt that make the serial killer a devil then!” a policeman who loves supernatural stuff and mythology exclaimed.

”Can we mere humans even fight against devils?” the police force wavered at the thoughts that they have to fight and capture devils this time.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”Do not worry. The higher-ups had contacted a professional about this case. The Vatican will send some people to us.”

”If itʼs the Vatican, then they should be able to fight against those evil entities!”

”Will we be able to witness live exorcism?”

”I think we should find the culprit first.”

”Captain.”

This time Doctor Hei had approached the police captain to begin his report about the autopsy result.

”Have you finished the autopsy?” asked Captain Lou Ye.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”Almost. However, you might need to report to the higher ups again.”

”Is it that black feather from before?” asked Captain Lou Ye.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”No, but it is something similar.” He held up a pure white feather he took from the huge wings attached to the corpse.

”This feather is a huge problem,” said Doctor Hei.

Captain Lou Ye asked, ”Is it dangerous?”

”No. Itʼs the complete opposite. This white feather can heal. I donʼt know to what extent, but... thereʼs a huge pair made of it. This... might be an angelʼs wings,” said Doctor Hei.

The people in the area shouted in unison, ”Angelʼs Wings!!!”
