I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1575 21.32 Fifth Violet Star - Troublemakers and the Clinic.

With the serial killer hiding in the shadows of the night, martial laws and curfews are placed in the city. Now after ten in the evening, there are almost no people walking around the streets and even at the core of the city was left desolated with only a few soldiers and police officers patrolling.

Of course, regardless of the laws, there are still law breakers. Some of the soldiers and police officers are chasing after them in the back alleys. These people truly knew their ways at escaping using these unofficial roads and more of like crevices between buildings.

In the middle of the night a few officers led by Captain Lou are chasing after young adults who were sneaking around the back alleys using drugs.

”Captain, theyʼve run at the alley near Purgatory.”

”Should we chase after them?”

”No need. Follow me,” said Captain Lou Ye.

He leads them to the Bar ʼPurgatoryʼ which has music playing all night long. This time it was even extended overnight and only stopped at sunrise where the customers can leave indoors and go home. The booming music can even be heard from the window and one can even hear people dancing and singing inside the bar.

A police officer couldnʼt help but comment, ”I didnʼt expect that this bar would offer overnight services because of the curfew.”

”But it is true that they are not breaking any laws. After all, they are inside the bar. As long as they are inside, it doesnʼt matter much to them.”

”Are they partying crazily like this all night?”

”They can even sleep in the bar if they are too wasted.”

”I think they just donʼt want to miss seeing Lucifer.”

”The Bar Owner is like an incubus. He only needs to exist and people will get seduced.” Read exclusive adventures at My Virtual Library Empire

”I heard that he is no longer sleeping around.”

”Rumors says that he has a lover.”

”Crazy! Who is this amazing person that made this flirt stick to only one.”

While the police officers were exchanging words as they finally stopped at the entrance of the bar and the drug addicts that they were chasing were all tied up. They heard someone talking from the slightly open doors of the bar and saw Zhi Yang, one of the new staff of Purgatory, peeking at them.

They heard him say, ”These people tried to force their way inside the bar. But they got a positive result in our drug test. The big boss said to throw them out and wait for your arrival. You can go ahead and capture them. I might have dislocated their shoulders a bit. Please resolve it yourself. Have a good evening!”

The door to the bar was securely closed this time after, Zhi Yang hung a new sign saying ʼThose without overnight appointment cannot enter until the next opening hours.ʼ The police officers were stunned for a moment until their captain issue a command and the groaning sounds of those tied up druggies echoes in the empty streets.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”What are you still waiting for? Grab them all!”

”Yes, Sir!”

Then after capturing their targets they saw their captain looking above and saluted. There, they saw Lucifer wearing a casual black suit drinking his wine and he waves slightly at their captain.

On their way back to the station, a police officer couldnʼt help but asked,

”Captain, do you know why Sir Xiu runs a bar but doesnʼt tolerate those who do crime?”

”Did he run a bar just to catch those people if they ever wandered into his place?”

”The bar owner might be whimsical and it will be hard to believe he is a good person. However, he doesnʼt tolerate anything that brings impure things in his place. Thatʼs why he never hides a criminal. Though there might be a case that he will go against us. For example, evicting a good person with intentional evidence with bad intentions,” explained the police captain to his team.

”Enough of this. Half of you send these people to the station. The rest come with me to continue the patrol.”

”Yes!”

Meanwhile at the police station...

Soldiers and police had gathered as a group. Of course, they donʼt get along well. It can be said that soldiers and police had differences. First is their experience. Soldiers experience wars while police experience raids. The former is allowed to kill their enemies and they wouldnʼt hesitate. Hesitation in war will only lead to death. As for police officers, they give the criminals a warning.

Only when there is no choice that they shoot them down and take their lives. The reason for the difference is the environment. It is more dangerous for soldiers as there will always be danger looming over them while the police had a certain security as they were stationed in a place that is safer than the war zones.

The soldiers felt that the police were too soft hearted while the police thought that the soldiers were barbaric. Thatʼs why they donʼt get along. However, there are professionals of their own field thus if they were given a command or task, they will complete it no question asked.

Some police were supporting the vice-captain of Captain Lou Yeʼs team to Doctor Heiʼs office. Unlike his teammates his strength is weaker than they are and he couldnʼt be on field all the time. Thatʼs why he mostly stayed at the station as the information department head.

However, there are times that he is overworked as most office work in this station was resolved by him. He was also the one making the reports for the team. Whenever he overdoses, his juniors will bring him to the clinic and have the doctor check on him.

In the clinic, Doctor Hei was still investigating the black and white feathers that he got from the higher ups. He wanted to check if he could discover more about these two feathers. The laboratory connected to the clinic also works as a morgue or surgery room.

”Doctor! Are you here!?”

”The vice-captain had fainted again!”

Doctor Hei seems to be used to it and said, ”Throw him on the bed. I will check on him once Iʼm done here.”

”Then Doctor we will leave it to you as usual!”

After the police officers who carried their vice-captain to the clinic left, Doctor Hei resumed his experiments without even knowing when the vice-captain had stood from the bed and woke up. He suddenly appeared behind the doctor , reaching his hand towards him.

Meanwhile, at the stationʼs entrance, Captain Lou Ye had just finished their patrols and they were welcomed by their teammates.

”Welcome back, Captain and you guys as well. Dinner will be served in an hour.”

”Did something happen in the station?” asked Captain Lou Ye upon seeing the bruises on their faces the same as the soldiers not far from them giving them glares.

”Itʼs nothing much, captain. These barbarians are just acting up again.”

”Ah, yes. Something happened. The vice-captain had fainted again.”

”It must be because he hadnʼt gone to sleep for five days.”

Captain Lou Ye suddenly fell on his thoughts. He never took out his team to the list of those who are possibly the hidden serial killer of the recent cases about unique murders happening in the city. Even though he didnʼt directly suspect his vice captain, keeping Doctor Hei safe was actually one of his tasks from the God of Void.

The police captain asked, ”Is he still in the clinic?”

”Should be. He had fainted again. It would take a while for him to wake up.”

Captain Lou Ye took large strides towards the direction of the clinic, in which they were welcomed by blood on the white tiled floor leading to the other bed. Everyone was terrified by the scene of the clinic covered in blood.

An officer exclaims, ”Oh my god! Is that blood?!”

Captain Lou Ye heard a rustling sound coming from one of the curtained beds inside the clinic and he urgently pulled it open only to see, Doctor Hei holding a white towel soaked with Vice-captainʼs blood even heard him scolding his patient.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”Donʼt lift your head! Lower it. Who the hell told you that you need to lift your heads up once youʼre having a nosebleed!?”

”Ish isnʼt that how it is supposed to be? (Is that how it supposed to be?)” asked the vice-captain Lev.

Doctor Hei scolded him, ”Who the hell is the quack that told you such a thing? Hold your damn towel! How can you dirty my laboratory!?” He complains while still treating his patient.

The vice-captain said, ”Ohkay~”

”What happened?” asked Captain Lou Ye to the doctor.

Doctor He said, ”Itʼs his fault. I was experimenting inside the laboratory. Who told him to sneak behind me just because he wanted to ask for a painkiller due to his gastritis acting up. A stood up abruptly in shock and almost smash his nose distorted”

”Daktor... itsh dishtorted allreafy,” said vice captain.

Snort!

Doctor He said, ”Itʼs your fault for not speaking out and for surprising me!”

”Yesh~, Iʼm sorry,” The vice captain lowered his head and held the soaked in blood towel.
