I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1559 21.16 Fifth Violet Star - Is he him?

The two of them, Xiu Mo and Xue Lian, ended up not going to the bar but instead asking the vice captain to follow the patrol car of Captain Lou Ye. The vice captain didnʼt know what to do first, but as these two are protected individuals, he can only follow what they wanted and use another police car to chase the one with Captain Lou Ye in it.

Seeing two patrol cars, the city just screams thereʼs a criminal, which made the people in the city look worried when seeing such a scene. Because of this reason, Captain Lou Ye had to stop and meet the second patrol car after them. When he saw Xiu Mo and Xue Lian in the passenger seats while the driver was his own vice captain, his face turned a bit ugly.

Standing beside the second patrol car door was Police Captain Lou Ye.

He said, ”Shi Chen, why are you bringing around civilians with you in your patrol car? Arenʼt you heading to Purgatory?”

”C-Captain, I have no choice. The two of them wanted to chase after you. To protect them from being targeted by the serial killer, this is the only way,” vice captain Shi Chen said.

Captain Lou Ye turned his gaze to look at the two in the passenger seats. Upon meeting the eyes of the two men, the latter smiled at him while the police captain remained expressionless.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”Escort them to their home and you return to the station. Donʼt worry about their protection. These two should be alright. Iʼm going on patrols; donʼt chase after me.”

The police captain was about to leave when someone suddenly grabbed his hand. It was only for a split second, but when Xue Lian held his, ice attacked in those few milliseconds, and he retaliated. This response alone was something the two men needed.

In the eyes of the others, they only saw Manager Xue reaching his hand out to touch the police captainʼs hands, only for his hand to be flying away. As expected, Manager Xue Lian immediately apologized after doing such a thing.

With a smile, Manage Xue Lian said, ”That was rude of me. We shall listen to the captainʼs words and go home for now.”

”Indeed. It is better to go home than be targeted,” said actor Xiu Mo as he observed the police captain. ”Then we will stop playing around. Captain, see you again next time~”

After giving his subordinate a warning, Police Captain Lou Ye gave the two a cold glance before leaving to return to his car and drive away. As soon as the patrol car in front of them had disappeared, Xiu Mo and Xue Lian whispered at one another.

Actor Xiu Mo asked, ”Is it him?”

”Hm. Unsure. There is indeed an element of darkness within him, but he didnʼt feel like him at all,” said Xue Lian. ”I donʼt feel my heartbeat.”

Hearing these words made Xiu Mo annoyed. This feeling Xue Lian is talking about is the attraction of the God of Destructionʼs affection to his chosen other half extended to his soul fragments. This is a feeling beyond the control of the fragments. Even if they have their own egos, they still couldnʼt hold back the love Hei Anjing had for the God of Void.

As someone who loves the incarnation of the Ancient God of Chaos, being like Tun Shizhe also couldnʼt hold back their attraction to the God of Destruction, and this emotion is extended to his soul fragment like Xue Lian in this world.

Xiu Mo said, ”He might not be him. There is also a possibility that itʼs Lucifer instead.”

”Impossible! Iʼve met Lucifer myself! How could I not recognize him!?” retorted actor Xiu Mo.

Xue Lian said, ”But when I saw him at the veranda of his suite that night, I felt something from him. It might be me sensing things wrong, but...”

”If so, then letʼs go meet him again tonight. You go meet him face to face then... decide which between that police captain or Lucifer is him!” said actor Tun Shizhe.

Xue Lian nodded his head and said to the vice captain, ”Sir policeman, please send us to Bar ʼPurgatoryʼ; we wonʼt change our minds anymore.”

”Are you sure?” asked Shi Chen, who felt a bit depressed after being scolded by his captain. ”I donʼt want to be scolded by the captain for the second time.”

”Go to the bar. We will spend a night there again,” said Xiu Mo.

Vice captain Shi Chen said, ”Okay. Please donʼt change your mind again on the way.”

”We wonʼt. Just drive to Purgatory,” said Manager Xue Lian.

In the end, the two of them had to head to Purgatory. By now, the God of Void had already sneaked out to look around the city to find the crazy doctor and checked if he was his wifeʼs incarnation in this world.

As for Lucifer, he just woke up in time and is now taking a bath. He plans to go to the bar and resume his nightlife like before. This is all what the God of Void had asked him to do after giving him a new body. His abilities as a devil were retained as well. This includes his wings, horns, and tail.

After taking a shower, Belphegor, who was waiting for his king to come out, served him well. He helped him with his clothes and meals as always.

Lucifer suddenly asked, ”What did I do this morning? I had a feeling that I forgot about it.”

Devil Belphegor thought that his king was still drunk and told him about his meeting with the police force this morning. What he didnʼt know was that the Lucifer this morning and the Lucifer who is currently in front of him are two different people.

”The King received uninvited guests this morning from the police. It seems that your younger brother and his manager had some possible connection to the serial killing happening recently. A police captain and a forensic doctor came to ask a few questions,” reported the devil of idleness.

Lucifer, who was eating his dinner, almost bit his tongue when the crazy doctor was mentioned.

”He... cough! I met Hei Yu! That crazy doctor! Did he still want to dissect me!?”

Belphegor looked a bit startled at first and answered, ”My king, that crazy one never changed. He wonʼt unless you let him dissect you.”

”Iʼm not a lunatic to get myself dissected alive. Is there something else?” asked Lucifer (Xiu Xie).

Belphegor answered, ”Yes. Your younger brother and his manager are here again.”

”Theyʼve been coming too frequently lately. Whatʼs the deal?” grumbled Xiu Xie.

The bartender and servant of Lucifer didnʼt know how to answer this question of his king, but he actually has a guess or theory that is going all over his guess. Lucifer, of course, noticed this.

Xiu Xie said, ”Talk, Bel. What do you think this is about?”

”This... I think they might have thought it was the king who was doing the killing and wanted to use it against them? Itʼs just my theory, but it might not be correct either. Maybe they just miss you?” Belphegor said.

His last sentence almost chokes Xiu Xie to death. The words like miss, love, and worry would never be exchanged between him and Xiu Mo. Even if they are brothers, they are more like enemies, as he knows that Xiu Mo also covets his twin brother, Michael.

Lucifer declared without hesitation. ”What you last said is something impossible in this life. That little bastard would even kill me as long as he was given a chance.”

”That is also true.” The devil of idleness was so quick to agree as he knew that his king and the devil of gluttony never got along well at all. This maybe can last for eternity.

Xiu Xie asked, ”Nothing strange going on?”

”Ah! There is... that crazy doctor acted clingy on you more than usual. This time my king didnʼt show disgust and just ignored him while saying threats,” said Belphegor. ”Also, a special customer came for you tonight.”

Luciferʼs eyes narrowed for a moment as if thinking of something and just resumed eating his meals until he was done. After a while, he changed his clothes and prepared to head down. Though he already knew that his younger brother and his manager were most likely to get their souls replaced, it is still better to antagonize them as he usually does.

Most of his clothes are black. This time again, he wore a simple black polo shirt and pants. His hair was combed carelessly, and the top three buttons of his shirt were undone. A span of his firm chest was exposed to be seen.

For the men and women who came for him to his bar, they would consider his current attire as eye-candy.

Xiu Xie said, ”Well, then~ shall I meet my guests tonight?”

Lucifer heads down to Purgatory after eating his meals. As usual, his arrival caught everyoneʼs attention, including his younger brother and Manager Xue, who came for him this time. A lot of men and women approached Xiu Xie and fell in his arms.

”Lucy~”

”Lucifer~”

As a playboy himself, Lucifer didnʼt decline anyone who came for him. Until he heard one of the most gorgeous ladies in the bar tonight whisper something in his ears.

”Lucifer, help me,” she said.
