I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1557 21.14 Fifth Violet Star - Serial Killing

After the breakfast was done, all of them moved to the sofa area in the bar. Police Captain Lou Ye and Doctor Black join the owner of the bar, Xiu Xie, after meals. Zhi Yue and Bartender Bel were at the side on standby after the drinks and snacks were served.

The God of Void had asked, ”Why have you come to my place?”

He was looking at the police captain, Lou Ye, for answers, but the one who gave the answers first was the crazy forensic doctor, Black.

Doctor Black said, ”I wanted to see you if you are willing to be dissected today.”

”I also want to ask if you want to die today as well,” retorted the God of Void.

Police Captain Lou said, ”Please ignore the doctor. I would like to ask if actor Xiu Mo is your younger brother and if he appeared in your bar last night with his manager, Xue Lian.”

”Xiu Mo? That little bastard? No, you are asking about his manager more? Maybe if you told me what happened I might give you the answers to your questions,” said the God of Void.

Police Captain Louʼs face turned gloomy and said, ”Such information cannot be shared in public so easily, Mr. Xiu.”

”They found a hair at the murder scene, and this hair was said to be owned by your younger brotherʼs manager, Xue Lian. This is connected to the recent serial killings, and that hair was the only proof we found,” said Doctor Black.

Upon hearing the doctor openly sharing some information about the serial killings,.

The God of Void commented, ”Donʼt tell me you believe that a hair can kill a human.”

”Of course, we donʼt. Thatʼs the only proof found on the scene. At most, Xue Lian would be used as bait to make the real culprit come out. We are here to make sure that Suspect Xue Lian didnʼt have time to come to the docks. It was reported that your younger brother and her manager came here last night after all,” said Doctor Black.

The God of Void said, ”Though I donʼt care if those two are convicted, it will be bad for the barʼs reputation if it is spread that a possible killer was treated as a customer. Bel, pull out the CCTV recording last night and show it to our guests.”

Bartender Bel, who had been waiting for this command, pulled out a laptop out of nowhere and placed it on the table in front of the police captain, then played the recording last night.

Bartender Bel said, ”This is the CCTV recording directly from the bar counter and the whole interior of the bar to the door for entrance and exit.”

”You seem so prepared,” Police Captain Lou Ye said.

Bartender Bel snorted and said, ”Whenever someone from the police force visits this place, it is always for one of our customers. I know you will ask for it and prepare it for you. Itʼs just that I need to know who you target before showing you these videos.”

”But I think you will be disappointed; those two stayed at the bar and in front of me for the whole night until dawn; they left at 3 am in the morning.”

”I can see that myself,” said Police Captain Lou.

Forensic Doctor Black said, ”Boring~ this person looks so hard to convince. It is almost impossible to ask him to cooperate with us as bait.”

Doctor Black lost interest after watching for a while. His hand kept reaching for eclairs and saw that there was nothing left and pouted. Zhi Yue, who was watching from the side, refilled the dessert tray with a smile, making the doctor look at him like a savior.

Police Captain Lou also thinks the same as the doctor. Just based on the short observation of Manager Xue Lian, this is a type of man that is hard to move with words alone.

The God of Void said, ”I thought otherwise. He might find it interesting instead.”

”You seem to know him quite well~” said Doctor Black with an ambiguous tone.

The God of Void stared at him for a while before averting his eyes and saying, ”Those two knew together as children. Itʼs normal to meet him as he was brought up by that little bastard from time to time. Itʼs normal to know a thing or two.”

”Well, that is also true. How about you get involved yourself? Are you interested in this too?” asked Doctor Black.

The police captain frowned and said, ”Doctor, we canʼt involve a civilian in this case!”

”I am not interested in the deaths of a stranger,” said the God of Void. ”Since you are finished with what you need, I shall excuse myself. I want to resume my sleep.”

He walks away without hesitation and heads to the elevator. Once the elevator opens, a few ladies come out from the suite above the floor. These ladiesʼ eyes glowed at his presence.

”Lucifer~ weʼve been looking for you!”

”Just as we thought he went down for breakfast.”

”Why didnʼt you wake us up?”

The three ladies were about to hug the God of Void but were skillfully avoided and walked past them as if he couldnʼt see them. These left the ladies and the others in the area speechless, especially the ladies. As for the God of Void, he heads to the suite without care for the others.

Zhi Yue had already anticipated this scene and approached the ladies, ”Dear ladies, please donʼt mind the big bossʼs attitude. Well, he is not in a good mood.”

He was gesturing to the ladies to look behind him, and when they did, they saw a policeman and a beautiful doctor in white. They immediately understood the reason for Luciferʼs bad mood.

One of the ladies asked, ”Another customer broke the rules of the bar?”

”Thatʼs too bad. No wonder the boss is no longer in a mood to flirt.”

”It was so fun last night though~”

”Tell the boss we are leaving.”

”See you again next time~”

The ladies left the bar without a second thought, as they themselves were a bit tired with all the fun they had done last night in the bar. They needed to go home and sleep after such a tiring night. Captain Lou also prepared to leave and noticed that Doctor Black had lost his smile the moment the God of Void left and saw those three women.

Police Captain Lou said, ”Doctor, itʼs time to go back.”

”Hm. Indeed. You are going to visit Xiu Mo and Xue Lianʼs place right? Iʼm not going with you. I will go back to the morgue to see my babies,” said Doctor Black.

If other people learned that this doctorʼs babies are dead people, they would definitely be frightened enough to pee. Who in their right mind would call corpses as babies except for this lunatic doctor?

On Doctor Blackʼs way out, he stopped in front of Zhi Yue, who was holding a takeaway iced milk tea in his hand for the doctor. This cup of milk tea was happily accepted by the doctor.

Doctor Black asked, ”Little one, what is your name?”

”Doctor, can call me Levi!” said Zhi Yue, who was pretending to be Leviathan.

Doctor Black frowned, ”Levi? This name doesnʼt fit you. My name is Hei Yu. Anyway, see you later.”

He left while sipping his new milk tea happily without even waiting for the police captain behind him. As for Captain Lou Ye, he gave his thanks to the two bartenders who helped him with surveillance recording and for the meal. He also left after Zhi Yang, who was in his system form, finished telling Zhi Yue about the case.

After the police and the doctor had left, Belphegor returned to work as if nothing happened.

Zhi Yue said to the Devil of idleness, ”Brother Bel, do you think the police came over because of the serial killing in the news?”

”Maybe. You shouldnʼt come out of the bar at night. Maybe it wasnʼt a human who did it,” said Devil Belphegor.

Zhi Yue pretended to be scared and said, ”Come on~ please donʼt scare me!”

Meanwhile, when the police visited Manager Xue Lian in the set, it caused too much commotion, and the eyes that looked at Manager Xue Lian had changed due to the sudden summons of the police. Actor Xiu Mo was also affected by this event, causing unwanted rumors about them.

In the dressing room of actor Xiu Mo...

Xiu Mo, Manager Xue Lian, their two assistants, Captain Lou, and his police force had gathered. The actor was looking at the police with an unfriendly look.

”I wonder why the police have to come over and come to meet us wanting to destroy our reputation,” said Xiu Mo.

Police Captain Lou Ye said, ”We ask the two men to please cooperate with the investigation, especially Manager Xue here. You are currently a suspect for the recent serial killings in the city.”

BAM!

”What nonsense are you talking about? I didnʼt even leave the side of my actor!” said Manager Xue Lian as he bangs the table with his hands.

Captain Lou Ye gestured, and a police officer stood beside him to bring out the evidence showing it to the actor and manager in front of him.

”A strand of your hair was found on the body of the victimʼs corpse. We have already investigated this hair and it was definitely your DNA match. Please cooperate with the police and come with us to the police station,” said the police captain.

Manager Xue Lian said, ”Body? Victim? Are you saying I am a suspect!? Thatʼs impossible!”
